“I know you don’t want me to show up at the Melendez household; let alone in front of Emmett! So, you plot and scheme. You better figure out a way for me to leave the Melendez family as soon as possible then!”

Leah watched Clara’s facial expressions closely, noting that she didn’t seem to be lying. With a cold laugh, she retorted, “I’ll come up with a solution, but don’t you dare play any tricks?”

Then she pulled out a packet of white powder from her pocket, “Here, this is the antidote! Give it to Emmett to drink. I don’t care how you do it, but you better not let him find out! Because this antidote isn’t a one-time cure, if Emmett finds out, there won’t be a next time!”

Clara quickly reached out to take the antidote, cradling it carefully in her hands. “When are you planning to fully cure Emmett?”

“That depends on my mood. Whenever he falls in love with me, that’s when he’ll get the final antidote.”

Leah smirked, “So don’t get your hopes up. The title of Mrs. Melendez is mine alone. You’ve lost your chance forever!”

Clara pursed her lips, unable to stand the sight of Leah’s face any longer.
