Some days later, today Kashi and Prisha together were going to Banaras. Shivansh looked at them. " Girls, the driver will take you to the airport and my private jet would be waiting at the airport for you. " said Shivansh
Prisha nodded. Kashi looked at him. " Why don't you come with us, Hukum sa?" asked Kashi, " I have some work. I promise that I would be there is some time." said Shivansh. Kashi nodded.
As Kashi and Prisha prepared to leave for Banaras, the entire Raghuvanshi family gathered in the grand hall to bid them farewell. The atmosphere was filled with a mix of emotionsâexcitement for their journey and a touch of sadness at Kashi's temporary departure.
Akshita, with a gentle smile, approached Kashi and cupped her face in her hands. "Kashi, beta, you know how much we will miss you, right? Banaras is your home, but now, so is this palace. Come back to us soon, won't you?" asked Akshita.
Kashi's eyes softened as she looked at Akshita, her mother-in-law who had become a second mother to her. "Ma, I promise I'll be back soon. This palace has given me so much love and care. I'll miss all of you too." said Kashi.
Bhairav stepped forward, his face serious but his eyes warm. "Kashi, Banaras may hold your roots, but your future is here with us. Remember that wherever you go, this family is always with you. Take care of yourself, and Prisha too." said Bhairav.
Prisha smiled at Bhairav's words, appreciating the concern he showed for both of them. "Thank you, Uncle. We'll take care of each other and be back before you know it." said Prisha.
Anita, who had been watching silently, came forward and placed a small pouch in Kashi's hand. "This is for your journey, Kashi. A little something for protection. Banaras may be a familiar place, but it's always good to be prepared." said Anita.
Kashi looked at the pouch, recognizing the significance of the gesture. "Thank you, Bua. I'll keep this close." said Kashi.
Dada Hukum, sitting in his grand chair, cleared his throat, signaling that he wanted to speak. "Kashi, Prisha, this family has seen many ups and downs, but we have always stood by each other. Today, as you both leave for Banaras, remember that our blessings are with you. Come back safely, and bring back the memories of your journey." he said.
Kashi and Prisha both approached Dada Hukum, bending down to touch his feet in respect. He placed his hands on their heads, blessing them with a quiet prayer. "May you be safe and may your journey be peaceful." he said.
Kashi felt a lump in her throat, overwhelmed by the love and concern of her family. She straightened up, looking around at the faces of the people who had become her world. "I will miss all of you." she said, her voice soft but filled with emotion.
Shivansh, who had been standing quietly at the side, now walked over to Kashi. He looked at her with a mix of affection and concern. "Kashi, if I could, I would come with you. But there are some matters here that need my attention. I promise I'll join you in Banaras as soon as I can." he said.
Kashi nodded, understanding the weight of his responsibilities. "I know, Hukum sa. I'll wait for you in Banaras." Kashi. Shivansh smiled and leaned in to kiss her forehead. "Take care, my love. And remember, my heart travels with you." said Shivansh.
Prisha, watching the exchange, couldn't help but smile. The bond between Shivansh and Kashi was something she deeply admired. "We'll make sure to have everything ready for when you arrive, Shivansh Jiju." she teased lightly, trying to lighten the mood.
Shivansh chuckled. "I'm sure you will, Prisha. Just keep Kashi out of trouble, alright?" said Shivansh. Prisha gave a mock salute. "Yes, sir!" said Prisha.
With final goodbyes said, Kashi and Prisha made their way to the waiting car. The driver, a trusted employee of the Raghuvanshi family, opened the door for them, ensuring they were comfortably seated before starting the engine.
As the car pulled away from the palace, Kashi looked out the window, waving to her family one last time. The drive to the airport was uneventful, with Prisha and Kashi chatting about their plans in Banaras.
They reminisced about their childhood memories, laughing at old stories and making new ones. The thought of visiting their hometown filled them with excitement, and they were both looking forward to the peaceful days ahead.
Little did they know that danger was lurking not far behind.
Meanwhile, at Arjun Sherawat's palace, the atmosphere was far from peaceful. Mansi, with a smug expression on her face, stormed into Arjun's private quarters, where he was discussing some matters with Aarav. Arjun looked up, slightly irritated by the sudden intrusion.
"Mansi, what is it now?" Arjun asked, his voice cold. Mansi, barely able to contain her excitement, smirked. "I have news that will change everything, Arjun. Kashi is on her way to Banaras, and guess what? She's without security." said Mansi.
Arjun's eyes narrowed. "Without security, you say? And you're certain of this?" said Arjun.
Mansi nodded eagerly. "Absolutely. This is the perfect opportunity to get rid of her once and for all. Without her, Shivansh will be broken. He'll be easier to manipulate, and you can take control of everything." said Mansi.
Aarav, who had been silent until now, leaned forward, intrigued by the plan. "So, what's the plan? How do we make sure she doesn't return from this trip?" said Aarav
Arjun, his mind already working on the details, replied, "We'll send a team to intercept her on the way to the airport. They need to make it look like an accident, something that can't be traced back to us. We can't afford any mistakes." said Arjun.
Mansi's smile widened. "Finally, we're going to get rid of that meddling woman. I'll make sure the men are ready to carry out the plan." said Mansi. Arjun nodded. "Do it. And remember, it has to be clean. No loose ends." said Arjun.
Mansi left the room with a sense of triumph, already picturing Kashi's demise. She couldn't wait to see Shivansh's reaction when he realized that his beloved wife was gone forever. The attack came out of nowhere.
As Kashi and Prisha's car neared the outskirts of the city, the road ahead seemed eerily quiet. The driver, who had been focused on the road, suddenly noticed a black SUV tailing them closely. His instincts told him something was wrong.
"Ma'am, there's a vehicle following us. " the driver said, his voice tense. Kashi and Prisha looked at each other, their earlier lightheartedness replaced by a sense of unease. "Can you lose them?" Kashi asked, her voice calm but firm.
"I'll try, Ma'am." the driver replied, pressing down on the accelerator. The car sped up, but the SUV matched their pace, closing the distance between them.
Suddenly, the SUV swerved to the side, pulling up alongside their car. The tinted windows rolled down, revealing men with guns aimed directly at them.
"Get down!" the driver shouted, trying to maneuver the car out of harm's way. But it was too late. A barrage of bullets shattered the windows, hitting the driver in the chest. He slumped over the steering wheel, and the car swerved wildly as it lost control.
"Prisha, grab the wheel!" Kashi yelled, her heart pounding. Prisha, her face pale but determined, leaned over the driver's body and took control of the car, her hands shaking as she struggled to keep the vehicle on the road.
The car careened from side to side as Prisha fought to steer it, her knuckles white with the effort. Kashi grabbed her phone, trying to call for help, but the signal was weak, and the call wouldn't go through.
The SUV rammed into their car from the side, sending them skidding off the road and into a ditch. The impact was jarring, and the car came to a sudden stop, smoke rising from the hood.
Before Kashi and Prisha could react, the men from the SUV approached their car, guns drawn. Kashi, her heart racing, knew they had only moments to act.
"Prisha, we need to get out of the car, now!" Kashi urged, but Prisha was struggling to release her seatbelt, which had jammed in the crash.
The men reached the car, yanking open the doors. One of them grabbed Prisha, pulling her out of the car with brute force. She screamed, kicking and struggling, but they were too strong.
"Let her go!" Kashi shouted, trying to reach Prisha, but one of the attackers pushed her back into the car. She hit her head against the dashboard, dazing her for a moment.
The man who had pulled Prisha out threw her to the ground and then hurled a small device into the carâa bomb, set to detonate within seconds.
Kashi's vision blurred, but she knew she had to move. Summoning every ounce of strength, she forced the car door open and stumbled out just as the bomb exploded, sending the car up in flames.
The blast threw Kashi to the ground, and she felt a searing pain in her side. She tried to move, but her body wouldn't respond. All she could see was the burning wreckage of the car and the figures of the men advancing towards her.
One of them aimed his gun at her, ready to finish the job. Kashi closed her eyes, bracing for the end.
But the shot never came instead, she heard the roar of an engine and the roar of gunfire. Kashi forced her eyes open and saw a familiar black SUV speeding toward them. The men attacking her paused, turning their weapons toward the oncoming vehicle, but they were too late.
The SUV skidded to a halt, and before the attackers could react, the doors flew open. Shivansh, with his gun drawn, emerged from the driver's seat. Yuhan followed closely behind him, equally armed and ready for action. The two men moved with precision, firing at the attackers with deadly accuracy.
The first attacker fell before he could even get a shot off. The second tried to run, but Yuhan's bullet found its mark, dropping him to the ground. The remaining men, realizing they were outmatched, turned and fled, but Shivansh wasn't about to let them escape. He advanced with a cold, determined fury, firing until the last of them was down.
With the immediate threat neutralized, Shivansh rushed to Kashi, who was lying on the ground, her face pale with pain. He knelt beside her, his hands trembling as he checked her for injuries.
"Kashi!" Shivansh's voice was thick with emotion. "Stay with me, please. Help is on the way." said Shivansh.
Kashi winced, her hand clutching her side where blood was seeping through her clothes. "Shivansh... I... I'm sorry... I didn't see them coming..." Her voice was weak, but she tried to offer him a reassuring smile.
"Don't talk, Kashi. Just hold on. You're going to be okay. I'm here now." Shivansh said firmly, his heart pounding with fear.
Meanwhile, Yuhan had reached Prisha, who was struggling to get to her feet. She had a few scrapes and bruises, but she seemed more shaken than seriously injured. Yuhan helped her up, his voice calm but urgent. "Prisha, are you alright?" said Yuhan
Prisha nodded, her eyes wide with shock. "Yuhan, they were going to kill us... they were going to kill Kashi..." She was on the verge of tears, but she fought to stay strong.
"They didn't. We're here now, and you're safe. Come on, let's get you away from the car." Yuhan replied.
As Yuhan led Prisha to safety, Shivansh carefully lifted Kashi into his arms, cradling her against his chest. He could feel her body trembling, her breath shallow and labored. The sight of her in such pain made his heart ache with a desperation he had never felt before.
"Kashi, stay with me. I can't lose you... I won't lose you..." Shivansh said. Kashi's eyes fluttered open, her gaze meeting his. Despite the pain, she managed a faint smile. "I'm not going anywhere, Hukum sa... I promise..."
Shivansh's throat tightened, and he pressed a kiss to her forehead, his lips lingering there as if trying to transfer his strength to her. "I love you, Kashi. Just hold on a little longer. Help is on the way." said Shivansh.
Within moments, the sound of sirens filled the air as police cars and an ambulance arrived at the scene. Shivansh carried Kashi to the ambulance, refusing to let go of her hand even as the paramedics began to assess her injuries.
They worked quickly, applying pressure to the wound and stabilizing her as best they could before loading her into the vehicle.
Prisha was also taken to the ambulance, with Yuhan and Shivansh following closely behind. Shivansh climbed into the back of the ambulance with Kashi, refusing to leave her side, while Yuhan stayed with Prisha, offering her quiet words of comfort.
As the ambulance sped toward the hospital, Shivansh held Kashi's hand tightly, his mind racing with thoughts of what could have happened. The idea of losing her was unbearable, and he silently vowed that he would never let anything like this happen again.
Back at the Pratap palace, the family was in a state of shock when they received the news of the attack. Akshita collapsed into Bhairav's arms, her face pale with fear. "My Kashi... what if we lose her?" said Akshita.
Bhairav held her tightly, his own heart heavy with worry. "She's strong, Akshita. She'll fight through this. Shivansh is with her, and he'll make sure she's safe." said Bhairav.
Anita, tears streaming down her face, clutched the small pouch she had given Kashi earlier. "Why did this have to happen? She was just going home..." said Anita.
Dada Hukum, though shaken, remained composed. He looked at Raghu Kaka, who was standing nearby, equally distressed. "Raghu, send word to the hospital that we're on our way. We need to be there for her." said Dada Hukum.
Raghu Kaka nodded and quickly set about making the necessary arrangements. The entire family prepared to leave for the hospital, their hearts filled with dread but also with hope that Kashi would pull through.
