Kashi was finally shifted to the private room. Except Shivansh and Yuhan, no one was there in the hospital. Even thought everyone wanted to stay and see Kashi, but only 2 people were allowed to stay with the patient.

Inside the dimly lit hospital room, the steady beep of the monitors was the only sound, a constant reminder of Kashi's fragile state.

Shivansh sat by her bedside, his hand tightly holding hers as if his grip alone could anchor her to this world. His usually composed demeanor was shattered, replaced with a storm of emotions swirling within him—fear, guilt, and overwhelming worry.

Shivansh's eyes never left Kashi's face. He was afraid that if he looked away, even for a second, something might go wrong. The sight of her lying there, so still, was something he could never have imagined.

His thoughts were consumed by the image of her smile, her laughter, the way she always brightened up his world. Now, all he could see was the pale pallor of her skin and the bandages that wrapped her wounds.

Outisde, Yuhan was sitting on the benches kept outside the ward. He was rubbing his temple with his palm. He was missing all the old moments that he spent with Kashi.

The thought of Kashi suffering while he was elsewhere tormented him. He had promised to protect her, but now, she was fighting for her life.

Yuhan clenched his fists, frustration bubbling under the surface. "I should have been there, Shiv. I shouldn't have let her go alone," he muttered, his voice thick with guilt.

Shivansh barely responded, his focus entirely on Kashi. "Don't blame yourself, Yuhan. We all should have been more careful. But right now... all that matters is that she pulls through." he said in a low voice.

Yuhan nodded, though the self-reproach didn't leave his eyes. "She's strong, Shiv. Kashi will fight this. She has to." said Yuhan.

The minutes dragged on like hours. Every time the door to the room opened, Shivansh's heart would skip a beat, fearing the worst. The doctors had said she was stable, but critical, and those words echoed in his mind, refusing to let him find any peace.

Shivansh thought back to the conversation they had just a few days ago, the teasing about having a child, the way her cheeks flushed with embarrassment.

The memory brought a lump to his throat. He couldn't imagine a future without Kashi in it. He had already lost so much in his life—losing her would break him entirely.

He gently caressed her hand, his voice barely above a whisper, "You have to stay with me, Kashi. You have to fight. I can't do this without you." said Shivansh.

Yuhan watched from the door, his own heart heavy with worry. Shivansh had always been the strong one, the one who held everyone together, but now, seeing him like this, Yuhan felt the weight of the situation even more.

The night seemed endless, filled with an unbearable tension that neither man could shake off. Yuhan stood and approached Shivansh, placing a hand on his shoulder. "We'll find who did this, Shivansh. And they'll pay. But right now, she needs you to stay strong." said Yuhan.

Shivansh nodded, though his eyes remained fixed on Kashi. "I just want her to wake up, Yuhan. That's all I want." said Shivansh.

The two men stood there in silence, united by their shared worry, the fear that they might lose someone so dear to them. For all the power and wealth they possessed, they felt utterly helpless in that moment, waiting for a sign—any sign—that Kashi would come back to them.

As the night wore on, the tension in the room grew thicker, and the fear in Shivansh's heart only deepened. Every beep of the monitor was a reminder of how fragile life could be, and how much Kashi meant to him.

He leaned closer to her, his voice trembling as he whispered, "Please, Kashi... don't leave me." said Shivansh.

Back at the palace, the atmosphere was tense and filled with an overwhelming sense of dread. The grand halls, usually filled with laughter and chatter, were now eerily silent.

Every member of the family was on edge, waiting for any news from the hospital. The servants moved quietly, their faces mirroring the worry that gripped the entire household.

In the living room, Akshita sat on the sofa, her hands clasped tightly together as if in prayer. Her eyes were red and swollen from crying, and her usually calm demeanor was replaced with visible anxiety.

Bhairav stood by the window, staring out into the night, his jaw clenched in frustration and helplessness. He was a man used to being in control, but now, there was nothing he could do but wait.

Akshita's thoughts were consumed with worry for Kashi, who had quickly become like a daughter to her. "Why did this have to happen to her? She's been through so much already..." she whispered to herself, tears welling up in her eyes once more.

Anita sat beside her, trying to be a source of comfort even though she was just as shaken. She reached out and took Akshita's hand. "She's strong, Akshita. Kashi is a fighter. She'll come through this." Anita said, though her voice wavered with uncertainty.

Akshita nodded, but her heart ached with fear. "I know, but I just can't stop thinking about what could happen... What if we lose her, Anita? Shivansh would be devastated." said Akshita.

Bhairav, overhearing the conversation, turned away from the window, his voice filled with a mix of anger and desperation.

"We won't lose her. We can't. She's a part of this family now, and I won't let anyone take her away from us. Whoever did this will pay dearly for what they've done." said Bhairav.

In another room, Dada Hukum sat quietly, his usually stern face softened with concern. He was a man of few words, but the gravity of the situation weighed heavily on him.

He had seen many things in his life, but the thought of losing Kashi, who had brought so much joy to the family, was unbearable. He closed his eyes and began to pray silently, asking for Kashi's safety and strength for Shivansh.

In the corner of the room, Naina and Prisha huddled together, their faces pale with fear. Naina, usually the one to keep spirits high, was uncharacteristically quiet, her hands shaking as she held onto Prisha.

Prisha's guilt was eating her alive. "This is all my fault, Naina. If I hadn't insisted on Kashi coming with me, none of this would have happened." she said, her voice breaking.

Naina shook her head, pulling Prisha into a comforting embrace. "Don't say that, Prisha. None of this is your fault. Kashi would never blame you, and you shouldn't blame yourself either. We just have to stay strong and pray for her recovery." said Naina.

As the night wore on, the family gathered in the temple room, lighting candles and praying for Kashi. Each member of the family sent up silent prayers, hoping for a miracle, for the safe return of their beloved Kashi.

Akshita led the prayer, her voice trembling with emotion. "God, please... protect our Kashi. She is the light of our home, and we cannot lose her. Give her the strength to fight and come back to us safely. And please, keep Shivansh strong... he needs her more than anything." said Akshita.

The family echoed her prayer, their voices united in their hope and fear. The palace, once filled with joy and celebration, was now a place of solemn prayer, each person clinging to the hope that Kashi would return to them, safe and sound.

Bhairav placed a hand on Dada Hukum's shoulder, his voice low and firm. "We will find out who is responsible for this, and they will pay. But right now, all that matters is Kashi. She has to come back to us." said Bhairav.

Dada Hukum nodded, his eyes closed in deep prayer. "She will, Bhairav. She has to. This family cannot bear another loss." said Dada Hukum. As the candles flickered in the dim light, the family continued to pray, their hearts heavy with worry but united in their hope for Kashi's recovery.

The next morning, the Pratap family, led by Akshita and Bhairav, gathered in the grand entrance hall of the palace.

The atmosphere was tense, their minds filled with worry as they prepared to leave for the hospital to see Kashi. Dada Hukum stood near the door, his usually stern expression softened by concern.

Naina and Prisha were huddled together, whispering words of comfort to each other, while Anita handed out the shawls and scarves, making sure everyone was prepared for the chilly morning air.

"We must hurry. I can't wait any longer to see Kashi. I just hope she's doing better." Akshita urged, her voice laced with anxiety as she looked at Bhairav.

Bhairav nodded, his jaw clenched as he fought to keep his emotions in check. "We'll be there soon, Akshita. We need to be strong—for her and for Shivansh." said Bhairav.

As they finally piled into the cars, the ride to the hospital was filled with silence, each member of the family lost in their thoughts and prayers. The weight of the previous night's events hung heavily in the air, and no one dared to break the stillness with idle chatter.

When they arrived at the hospital, the family moved quickly, their urgency palpable. As they entered the building, Akshita's heart pounded in her chest.

She was desperate to see Kashi, to hold her and assure herself that her daughter-in-law was safe.

They hurried to the floor where Kashi was being treated, and as they approached the private room, they saw Yuhan sitting outside, his face a mask of exhaustion and worry. "Yuhan!" Akshita called out, rushing over to him. "How is Kashi? Is she okay?" she asked.

Yuhan looked up, startled by the sudden arrival of the family. His eyes were red from lack of sleep, and there was a deep sorrow in his gaze. "She's stable, but the doctors are still monitoring her closely. Shivansh has been with her all night." he said.

"What happened exactly? How did this happen, Yuhan? We need to know everything." Bhairav demanded, his voice a mix of frustration and concern.

Before Yuhan could respond, they were interrupted by a piercing scream that echoed from Kashi's room, causing everyone's hearts to stop momentarily. Akshita's hand flew to her mouth in shock, and Naina let out a small gasp.

"That was Kashi!" Prisha exclaimed, her eyes wide with fear. "She's awake!" she said.

Without another word, the entire family rushed towards the door of Kashi's room, their fear momentarily giving way to a sliver of hope.

Shivansh was already on his feet, rushing to Kashi's side as they all entered the room. Kashi was sitting up in bed, her eyes wide with panic and confusion as she looked around at the faces she didn't recognize.

"Kashi!" Akshita cried, moving towards the bed with tears streaming down her face. She leaned over and kissed Kashi's forehead, relief flooding her as she felt the warmth of her daughter-in-law's skin.

But Kashi recoiled, pulling back with fear in her eyes. "Stay away from me! I don't know who you are! Where am I?" she said with her voice trembling.

Akshita froze, her heart breaking at Kashi's words. She stepped back, confused and hurt, as the rest of the family watched in stunned silence. "Kashi, it's me. I'm your best friend. Do you remember me?" Prisha said.

Kashi's eyes darted around the room, her confusion deepening. "Prisha, of course I remember you..?" she repeated slowly, as if trying to piece together the fragments of her memory. "Where am I? What happened?" asked Kashi.

"You were in an accident. You're in Rajasthan, with your in-laws. This is your family, Kashi." Prisha replied. But Kashi shook her head vehemently, her fear turning into desperation. "No, no, this isn't right! I'm not married! I'm engaged to Yuvraj. Where is he? Why am I here?" asked Kashi.

The room fell into a shocked silence, the weight of Kashi's words crashing down on everyone like a tidal wave. Shivansh's heart sank as he exchanged a stunned look with Yuhan, both of them struggling to process what they had just heard.

"Kashi... Kashi, it's me. I'm Shivansh... your husband." Shivansh began, his voice trembling as he stepped closer to her.

But Kashi's expression remained one of disbelief and confusion. "No, this can't be real. I'm supposed to marry Yuvraj. This is all wrong!" she whispered with shaking her head.

Shivansh turned towards the doctor, who had just entered the room, his face lined with concern. "What's happening to her, Doctor? Why doesn't she remember?" he asked, his voice tight with fear. The doctor sighed, his expression grim as he addressed the family.

"It appears that Hukum Rani sa is suffering from a form of short-term memory loss. The trauma from the accident has affected her memory, and it seems she doesn't recall certain events, including her marriage to you, Hukum sa." replied the doctor.

"Is there anything we can do? Will she remember eventually?" Yuhan asked. The doctor hesitated before answering.

"It's difficult to say. In cases like this, the memory can return gradually, or it might remain lost. For now, it's important that we don't push her or try to force her to remember. Doing so could cause further harm or even make her forget more than she already has." replied the doctor.

Shivansh felt as if the ground had been pulled out from under him. He looked back at Kashi, who was staring at him with fear and uncertainty, as if he were a stranger. His heart ached, but he knew he had to be strong—for her sake.

"Thank you, Doctor. We'll do whatever it takes to help her." he said. The doctor nodded before leaving the room, giving the family a moment to process the shocking news. Shivansh turned back to Kashi, his heart breaking as he saw the fear in her eyes.

"Kashi, I know this is confusing, but we're here for you. You're safe with us." he said softly, trying to reach her. But Kashi only shook her head, still overwhelmed by the situation. "I just want to go home. I want to be with Yuvraj." Kashi said.

Akshita's eyes filled with tears, and she reached out to touch Kashi's hand, but stopped herself, fearing she might cause her more distress.

"Kashi, my dear... we're your family now. We love you, and we just want to help you through this." Akshita said gently, though her voice was thick with emotion.

Kashi's eyes darted from one face to another, trying to make sense of the situation. "I don't understand..." she muttered, more to herself than to anyone else.

Prisha, fighting back tears, stepped forward. "Kashi, you're in Rajasthan, with the Pratap family. We just want you to be okay. Please... just trust us." she pleaded.

But Kashi's face remained clouded with confusion. "I don't know any of you. Where is Yuvraj? I need to see him." she whispered, her voice filled with despair.

Shivansh's heart clenched at her words, but he kept his emotions in check, knowing that now was not the time to break down. "We won't force anything on you, Kashi. We just want you to feel safe. We're here for you." Shivansh said.

Yuhan, who had been silent all this time, finally spoke up. "Kashi, we're your friends. We care about you, and we just want you to get better. We'll help you through this, no matter what." said Yuhan

Kashi looked at Yuhan, her eyes searching his for some kind of reassurance. There was something familiar about him, but the memories were too fragmented, too distant for her to grasp fully. She nodded hesitantly, still unsure of everything, but too exhausted to question further.

As the family stood around her, their hearts heavy with both relief and worry, they knew the road ahead would be long and difficult. Kashi's memory might return in time, but for now, they would have to tread carefully, supporting her without overwhelming her.

In the hallway outside the room, Shivansh and Yuhan exchanged a glance, both of them feeling the weight of the situation pressing down on them. "We'll get through this. Kashi is strong. She'll come back to us." Yuhan said.

Shivansh nodded, though his heart was heavy with doubt and fear. "She has to. She has to come back to us... to me." Shivansh said.

As they turned back towards the room, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, they knew that they would need all the strength they could muster to help Kashi find her way back to the life she had forgotten.
