The next day, the whole palace was getting decorated for the wedding of Kashi and Yuvraj. Kashi feeling the first rays of dawn gently brush against her face. She stretched and instinctively glanced at her hand, immediately feeling her heart drop to her stomach.

The intricate henna design had faded to a light brown, but the name "Shivansh" stood out in dark, unmistakable letters. Panic surged through her veins, and she sat up, frantically trying to think of a solution.

Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of footsteps approaching her room. She quickly pulled the bedsheet over her hand, trying to hide the evidence. The door swung open, and Yuvraj entered, his expression stern.

Kashi's breath caught in her throat. "Yuvraj, you can't see me before the wedding. It's bad luck." she said, her voice trembling. "Shut up. Show me your hand. I want to see my name." Yuvraj snapped, his eyes narrowing.

Kashi's heart raced. She hesitated, trying to think of an excuse, but Yuvraj was already striding toward her. He grabbed her wrist, yanking her hand out from under the bedsheet. His eyes widened as he saw the name "Shivansh" prominently displayed on her palm.

"What is this?" Yuvraj demanded, his voice rising in anger. " It was a mistake by the henna artists. I didn't mean for this to happen." Kashi stammered, tears welling up in her eyes.

Yuvraj's face twisted with rage. "A mistake? They must have told them to write this name. You think I'm a fool?" said Yuvraj. "No, Yuvraj, I swear it's not like that." Kashi pleaded, but he wasn't listening.

Yuvraj's grip tightened painfully around her wrist as he pulled her out of the room. Kashi stumbled, trying to keep up, her heart pounding in fear.

He dragged her down the hallway and threw her onto the sofa in the living room. The sudden commotion drew the attention of everyone in the house. Manisha rushed in, her face etched with concern. "Yuvraj, what happened?" she asked.

"I'm breaking this marriage. I can't accept a shameless and characterless girl as my wife. I might have liked her, but I can't have her as my wife." Yuvraj declared, his voice cold and hard. Gasps filled the room. Manisha's eyes widened in shock. "Yuvraj, what are you saying?" asked Manisha.

Yuvraj didn't respond. Instead, he pulled off his engagement ring and threw it at Mr. Kashyap's feet. Then, he turned to Kashi, roughly grabbing her hand and yanking off the ring he had given her. Kashi cried out in pain, tears streaming down her face.

"I don't want to see your face again. " Yuvraj spat before storming out of the house. The room fell into a stunned silence. Kashi sat on the sofa, her hand throbbing from Yuvraj's rough treatment, her heart breaking. Manisha's face hardened as she looked at Kashi.

"What did you do, Kashi? How could you let this happen?"  Manisha demanded, her voice shaking with anger and disbelief. Kashi shook her head, sobbing uncontrollably. "It was a mistake. I didn't mean for this to happen. Please, believe me." said Kashi.

Manisha's expression remained cold. "You've brought shame to this family. How could you be so careless?" said Manisha.

Kashi had no answer. She felt numb, the weight of the situation crushing her. Manisha's words cut deep, each one a painful reminder of her failure. She could see the disappointment and anger in everyone's eyes, and it made her feel utterly alone.

The hours that followed were blur for Kashi. She remained on the sofa, her head bowed, tears silently falling. The whispers and murmurs of the guests and family members felt like a relentless assault on her already fragile state of mind.

Manisha paced the room, her anger simmering just below the surface. She kept casting accusing glances at Kashi, her disappointment palpable. "How could you be so irresponsible, Kashi?" she repeated, unable to contain her frustration.

Mr. Kashyap stood silently, his face a mask of grief. He picked up the engagement ring from the floor, staring at it as if it symbolized the shattered dreams and hopes they had for Kashi's future.

Kashi felt a hand on her shoulder and looked up to see Prisha, her eyes filled with sympathy. "Kashi, let's go to your room." Prisha said gently, helping her up. Kashi nodded numbly, allowing Prisha to guide her away from the prying eyes and harsh judgments.

Once inside her room, Kashi collapsed onto her bed, burying her face in her hands. The events of the morning replayed in her mind, each moment more painful than the last. Prisha sat beside her, offering silent support.

"Kashi, I'm so sorry this happened. But you have to understand that Yuvraj's reaction was out of line. This wasn't your fault. And I think that when I came to talk to you that's why you took the name of Shivansh ji." said Prisha.

Kashi shook her head, tears streaming down her face. "But it feels like my fault. I should have been more careful." said Kashi. Prisha sighed, wrapping an arm around Kashi. "Sometimes, things happen that are beyond our control. You can't blame yourself for everything." Prisha said.

Later that evening, Manisha called a family meeting. Kashi was dreading it, knowing she would have to face more accusations and harsh words. She entered the room with Prisha and Akshita by her side, feeling their support but also the weight of the family's disappointment.

Mr. Kashyap was the first to speak, his voice heavy with sorrow. "Kashi, you need to explain yourself. What happened?" asked Mr Kashyap.

Kashi took a deep breath, trying to steady her voice. "I was at the mehendi ceremony, and the henna artist asked for the groom's name. I was lost in thought and accidentally said Shivansh ji's name. It was a mistake." said Kashi.

Manisha shook her head, her eyes filled with anger. "A mistake that has cost us dearly. Yuvraj has called off the wedding, and our family's reputation is at stake." said Manisha.

Kashi felt a fresh wave of tears, but she forced herself to stay calm. "I know I've made a mistake, but I didn't mean for this to happen. Please, believe me." said Kashi.

Mr. Kashyap sighed, looking at his wife. "Manisha, we need to handle this situation delicately. Kashi is our daughter, and we need to support her." said Mr Kashyap.

Manisha's expression softened slightly, but her disappointment was still evident. "I understand, but we can't ignore the consequences of her actions." said Yuvraj.

Prisha stepped forward, her voice firm. "Kashi is not to blame for Yuvraj's reaction. He overreacted, and we all know that. This isn't just about a name on her hand; it's about the way he treated her." said Prisha.

" Shut up Prisha. This is our private matter. " said Manisha, " But aunty." said Prisha, " Please go. Please leave me alone." said Kashi. Manisha, Mr Kashyap and Prisha left the room.

One evening, Kashi decided to visit Digvijay ji. She needed to speak with him, to explain everything and seek his guidance. She found him in the garden, deep in thought.

"Digvijay ji," Kashi called softly, approaching him. He turned, his eyes softening as he saw her. "Kashi, come sit with me." said Digvijay ji.

Kashi sat down beside him, her heart heavy with the weight of her words. "I'm sorry for everything that has happened. I made a mistake, and it has caused so much trouble."

Digvijay ji listened patiently, his expression kind. "Kashi, we all make mistakes. What matters is how we handle them and what we learn from them." said Digvijay ji.

Kashi nodded, her eyes filling with tears. "I just want to make things right. I want to prove to everyone that I'm not the person they think I am." said Kashi

Digvijay ji placed a hand on her shoulder, offering her comfort. "You have a good heart, Kashi. And I know you'll find a way to make things right. Just remember, you're not alone in this. We're all here to support you." said Digvijay ji.

Kashi felt a glimmer of hope. She knew that the road ahead would be challenging, but with the support of her family and friends, she was determined to face it with courage and strength.
