Chapter 5999
The Charismatic Charlie Wade
Nanako said âSi Guoyiâ twice in succession,
Which made Master Jingqing somewhat vulnerable.
He is not a dull person, so he naturally knows that this is Nanakoâs way of rejecting him.
While feeling regretful, he canât help but reflect on himself:
âI just feel that this devotee has extraordinary wisdom.â
âIf she is willing to convert to Buddhism and study the classics,â
âShe will definitely have a better understanding of the classics.â
âA profound understanding, if so, is the blessing for all believers,â
âBut this matter is just wishful thinking on my partâ¦â
Thinking of this, he sighed again and again in his heart:
âItâs a sin, madam asked me to help her enlighten her.â
âNow I am busy wholeheartedly to persuade her to convert to Buddhismâ¦â
So, he recited a few verses silently and then said:
âDevotee, the poor monk just talked too much, I hope you can forgive me.â
Nanako Ito nodded lightly: âIt doesnât matter,â
âAs long as you donât persuade me to become a monk again.â
After saying that, she took out the bag of tips from her pocket and asked carefully:
âMaster, I wonder if you can also consecrate and bless an amulet for me?â
Master Jingqing nodded and asked her:
âDoes the devotee want to copy the Prajnaparamita Heart Sutra by herself?â
âYes.â Nanako took out the paper and pen given by the monk earlier and said,
âCan I copy it here?â
âOf course you can.â Master Jingqing pointed to a writing desk under the lecture desk and said,
âDevotee, please copy the scriptures in front of the writing desk.â
Nanako nodded and thanked, then came to the writing desk and put her palm in front of the desk.
Put the paper on the desk and write the words of the âMaha Prajna Paramita Heart Sutraâ
On the paper with a thin brush.
Master Jingqing stood aside and watched silently.
When he saw Nanakoâs calligraphy, he couldnât help but be amazed.
He didnât expect that this young Japanese girl could actually write well.
Seeing that Nanako began to write the scriptures by hand without any lag in her hand,
Master Jingqing knew that Nanako must have read the scriptures well and knew the contents of the scriptures by heart.
When Nanako finished writing all the 260 words of the Heart Sutra,
She slowly put down the pen. Master Jingqing on the side asked:
âSince the devotee is familiar with the Heart Sutra,â
âHave you ever tried to teach it according to the scriptures?â
âSo, to explore the âunconscious worldâ mentioned in the scriptures?â
Nanako asked curiously: âYou are talking about the âno eyes and ears, nose, tongue, body and mind, colorless sound, fragrance, touch, no vision, and even the unconscious worldâ in the scriptures?â
Master Jingqing nodded and said seriously: âWithout eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind, without color, sound, fragrance, touch, it means that there are no six roots and six specks of dust,â
âAnd there are no six consciousnesses arising from the six dusts to the six roots.â
âLook at the boundaries that can be seen, and no longer insist on feeling the eighteen realms of the six roots, six dusts, and six consciousnesses.â
âIn this way, the six roots are pure, spotless, thoughts are free, and all dharmas are empty.â
Nanako was confused and asked: âJust like a Buddha statue, donât think about anything?â
Master Jingqing shook his head and said: âThatâs not the case.â
âAt that time, the poor monk also thought that the true void of all dharmas means abandoning all attachments and falsehoods.â
âBut later after the guidance of a mentor,â
âI realized that in fact, all dharmas are empty, and we can also understand it in another way.â
Nanako was even more confused: âSince all dharmas are empty,â
âEverything does not exist, what other explanation is there?â
Master Jingqing said: âAnother method is to abandon all the bodyâs senses and distracting thoughts about the outside world,â
âAnd use a method similar to Taoist introspection to return consciousness to the sea of consciousness.â
âOnce the consciousness returns to the sea of consciousness, it will find that originality,â
âPeople who open their eyes and look at the stars in the sky, although they are looking at the universe,â
âBut what they see is just a speck of dust in the universe.â
âBut after returning to the sea of consciousness, people seemed to close their eyes and look at the entire universe outside the universe!â
âThe sense of openness that the entire universe is in front of you is an unprecedented new realm.â
âI think that may be the unconscious realm mentioned by the Buddha.â
Nanako murmured: âClose your eyes Look at the entire universe?â
âWhat you said is a bit abstract, I canât quite understand itâ¦â
Master Jingqing said: âThe poor monk said it another way.â
After that, he said in a solemn tone: âOpen your eyes, you are just standing on the earth.â
âGo up, look at the sky in front of you, close your eyes, and enter the unconscious world,â
âThe earth will become a globe in front of you, everything is under your control and you can have a panoramic view!â
Nanako frowned: âI like the method of endoscopic observation.â
âI have figured out a little bit, but⦠I have never had the feeling of closing my eyes and looking at the universeâ¦â
Master Jingqing exclaimed: âThe devotee actually knows the method of endoscopic observation?â
Nanako nodded: âI know a little bit. But I canât confirm whether itâs true.â
Master Jingqing asked: âCan the devotee tell the poor monk how to do it?â
Nanako thought for a while and said: âI study martial arts and use my true energy to circulate the meridians throughout my body.â
âAs if all the meridians of the whole body are visibleâ¦â
Master Jingqing shook his head and said: âThis is not a true endoscopic view,â
âIt can only be regarded as a kind of self-perception in the body.â
âWhat this kind of endoscopic view can see is oneâs own internal organs,â
âThe meridians, Dantian, and Zifu, and the true inside view, not only can you close your eyes and look at all things in the universe,â
âBut you can also at least peek into your own Zifu, which is the true origin of spiritual consciousness!â
âZifu?â Nanako asked doubtfully, âWhat is Zifu?â
