“Alright, let’s head back and have some rest. We’ll consider watching the show after dinner.”

Once they all agreed, they drove back to the castle.

When they returned to the castle, they realized Sean had been back from the laboratory sometime ago.

At this time, he was in the glass room in the backyard, taking care of the Money Bead plant.

After knowing that they were back, Sean walked out from the back and asked, “Where have you all been today?”

Hence, Cathy told him about the places they had visited today.

Sean was shocked when he found out that they went to the Fairy Palace.

“You all went to the Fairy Palace?”

Cathy laughed. “Yeah, we’re curious about it, so we went to have a look.”

Sean kept quiet for a moment before he let out a cold laugh. “What’s so nice about it? They’re just using it as an advantage to make money. I rather believe in myself instead of those.”

Nell laughed too. “I agree, but I feel like the people here sincerely believe in it, especially when it comes to the fruits that are blessed by the oracle. All of them were dying to eat it.”

Sean shook his head.

“Uneducated and dumb.”

However, as if he suddenly thought of something, he turned and looked at Nell.

“Since you knew about it, then have you asked about the owner behind the Fairy Palace?”

Nell was stunned.

Cathy smiled. “We asked about it. How can we not ask about it? But it’s not clear and the people there refuse to tell us. We only know he’s from the East.”

“Someone from the East?”

Sean revealed a despising look. “It’s the people from the Flinders family.”

“Oh?”

All of them could not help but feel surprised.

Nell’s face changed. “People from the Flinders family?”

“Yeah, I didn’t know it before as well but then there was a time when I came across a handover between someone and another person from the Fairy Palace. I overheard their conversation and found out that someone was working for the Flinders family. It’s still unsure if the Flinders family built this place or somebody else built it and it was taken over by them later on. Anyway, it’s now in their hands.”

Everybody’s face sank as soon as those words were said.

Among them, Nell and Gideon stood against the Flinders family.

As for Cathy, due to her relationship with Nell, she too had a lot of opinions on the Flinders family.

Everybody did not think much about it at first, but they did not expect the Fairy Palace to be the property of the Flinder Family.

They could not help but feel a little weird as they thought about their visit.

Then, Gideon suddenly voiced out, “No wonder.”

Startled, Nell asked, “What’s wrong? No wonder what?”

Gideon pressed his lips and uttered, “You all might think it’s a little crazy if I say it, but I saw Shimon Flinders over there just now.”

Everyone was shocked.

Nell blurted out, “How can Shimon Flinders be there? Isn’t he in Lin City?”

Gideon spoke in a deep voice, “Yes, that’s why I was surprised. However, from the looks of it, since the Fairy Palace is the Flinder Family’s property, then it’s not strange for him to be there.”

Suddenly, everyone was silent, and they all looked glum.

After some time, Nell said frustratingly, “We seem to meet those bastards anywhere we go.”

Cathy comforted Nell by patting the back of her hand.

“Let’s not think too much about it. It has nothing to do with us, and we will not visit that place again, no big deal.”

Nell lowered her voice when she answered, “It doesn’t matter if the place is theirs or not. I’m not planning to go there anymore.”

Cathy nodded before she turned and looked at Sean. “You’re not allowed to go there in the future, you hear me?”

Sean gave her a rare smile.

“Have you ever seen me begging for something?”

Cathy thought about it for a while but realized it was true.

Since he said so, Cathy did not say anything more.

Seeing that Nell’s complexion was not looking good, she suggested. “Why don’t you go back to your room and have some rest. I’ll call you when dinner is ready.”

Nell did not shy away as she nodded her head. She could let the two kids have fun downstairs while Gideon accompanied her upstairs for a rest.

When they were back in their room, Nell leaned against the bed and said softly, “Gideon, I don’t know why. I felt uneasy when we went out this time.”

Gideon sat on the bed and allowed her to lean on his lap before he helped massage her temples as he said, “What’s wrong?”

Gideon’s fingers paused all of a sudden.

He said after some time, “I don’t think so. I have people secretly protecting us throughout this trip, you’re just too worried.”

“But...”

“Are you too tired? Let’s not go out for the next two days. I’ll have some good rest with you at home.”

Gideon said gently.

Nell looked into his eyes, and all she saw was the man’s gentle and pampering expression — the look that she was familiar with.

Only then did her anxious heart feel a little safer.

She nodded.

“Maybe. Let me get some sleep, and remember to wake me up after an hour.”

“Alright.”

As Gideon helped her lie down, he said, “Go get some sleep. I’ll be here with you.”

“Okay.”

Nell was so tired, it did not take long before she fell asleep.

It was 6:00 pm when Nell woke up.

The sun was still shining bright outside as it got dark very late here, at a little after 10:00 pm.

Fortunately, Gideon was considerate enough to close the curtain, hence the room was still dark and her sleep was not affected.

When Nell woke up, Gideon was not beside her, so she assumed that he had gone out.
