Chapter 1030
Spoiled by the President
Soon, Gideon poured a glass of water and came over.
He held the glass and lifted it to Nellâs mouth.
Nell was too lazy to raise her hand, so she took a few sips of water from the glass until her throat was moisturized, then she pushed it away.
He put the glass on the table beside him and took a jacket.
âItâs getting colder outside, put this jacket on. Donât catch a cold.â
Nell nodded and put it on submissively, then she pushed the blanket aside and got out of bed.
âAre you hungry? Dinnerâs almost ready, shall we go down and eat?â
âOkay.â
Two of them held hands and went down the stairs.
In the living room downstairs, Lizzy sat on the couch as she was watching her favorite cartoon.
Little Viemond was struggling and making noise as he tried to finish his incomplete lego at the side.
When he saw them coming down, he put down his toy immediately and ran toward Nell and Gideon.
âMommy, daddy.â
Gideon was a step faster, so he carried Little Viemond when he was halfway through.
âHow many times do I need to tell you? Donât pounce on mommy. Sheâs pregnant. What happens if you pounce on her and she falls?
Nell laughed. âHow can I fall so easily?â
Unexpectedly, Little Beanbag turned, and said, âI didnât want to hug mommy. I wanted to hug daddy.â
He kissed Gideon on his face as he spoke.
Gideon. â...â
Nell could not help but laugh behind him.
Gideonâs face darkened as he lightly patted Viemondâs tiny butt.
âWhat a sweet talker.â
After the three of them came down, Cathy walked out of the kitchen.
âYouâre awake, Nelly. Sit at the dining table. Dinnerâs almost done.â
Nell nodded, then they went to the dining room together.
Cathy was in a good mood for the past two days, and dinner was prepared by her personally.
When Sean came from the garden behind and saw the delicacies on the dining table, a rare smile appeared on his face.
âItâs so rare that Cathy cooks, but itâs not for me. Tsk, I feel sad just by thinking of it.â
Although he said so, his hands did not stop, and it reached straight for one of the dishes.
Cathy complained to Nell. âYou see? This guy wants to eat and tease, and I donât know how many mouths you have that you can be eating and talking at the same time.â
Nell laughed cheerfully when she saw the two of them quarreling.
Sean snorted. âIâm telling the truth.â
Cathy did not bother to pay attention to him. She turned her head and asked Lizzy, âIs grandmaâs cooking tasty?â
Lizzy nodded her head vigorously.
âItâs delicious. Itâs as good as what mommy cooked.â
Cathy laughed instantly.
âSuch a sweet mouth.â
Nell smiled as she placed a piece of broccoli in Lizzyâs bowl.
âYou canât just eat meat. You need to eat your greens. Understand?â
Lizzy nodded, and Little Viemond pushed his bowl forward.
âMommy, I want broccoli.â
Nell got one for him.
At the side, Gideonâs dissatisfied voice came.
âThey got it already, what about me?â
Nell choked, and she stared at him in an unsatisfactory way.
âTheyâre little kids, are you one?â
Gideon. â...â
In the end, Nell passed him a piece. Then only Gideon took back his bowl contentedly.
The whole family had a pleasant dinner.
After the meal, the servants came and cleared their dishes.
Naturally, Nell knew what she was referring to.
She turned and glanced at Gideon, and he said, âWe got nothing to do anyway, we might as well go and have a look.â
Nell then went to ask Lizzy and Little Viemond, âDo the both of you want to watch a show?â
Little Viemond leaned over. âAre there any pretty girls?â
Nell could not help but laugh. âYou only think about pretty girls. Your dad and I are not those kinds of people, where did you learn to be so pervy?â
Gideonâs face sunk, he acted angrily and uttered, âNo pretty girls, only ugly boys. Do you want to go?â
Little Viemond was stunned, and then he snorted softly.
âWhoâs going to believe you?â
He ran far away after he finished.
Gideon. â...â
Nell laughed like crazy.
Gideon failed to frighten his son. Viemond was old enough, and there was no way he would believe in Gideonâs threat. At last, he could only quietly take back his prank.
Lizzy ran toward Nell and hugged her, and she said, âMommy, I want to watch.â
Nell nodded. She then told Cathy, âIf thatâs the case, then letâs go and observe.â
Cathy nodded too, and then she turned and instructed someone to purchase the tickets.
She smiled and said, âThe show starts at 10:00 pm, itâs still early now, no rush. Weâll get somebody to book some seats for us, and we can depart when itâs almost time.â
Nell nodded and agreed.
9:30 pm.
The family finished dinner early and had fun for a while. They took their time to leave when it was almost time and drove to the theatre.
It was scorching during the day, but chilly at night.
Sean did not need to stay in the laboratory at night, so he came along.
The timing was just right when the group reached the theatre.
Nell let Gideon buy some snacks for their two Little Beanbags, they had it in their hand and ate it while searching for their seats.
Naturally, Cathy reserved the best seats for them, and it was right in the center of the third row from the front.
It was not too near or too far away. They could see the performersâ expressions clearly from their position.
Lizzy was very excited, she pulled Nellâs sleeve and whispered, âMommy, am I able to see fairy sisters later on?â
Nell was not willing to break the innocence from the childâs inner heart, so she nodded with a smile.
âYes, so later on, you must watch closely. Understand?â
âOkay, I understood.â
Lizzy sat upright, waiting wholeheartedly for her fairy sisters to appear.
Nell and Gideon sat side by side, and Little Viemond was on the other side, Cathy and Sean were further away.
Soon, the audience was all seated.
The lights were dimmed, Nell sat there and looked at the stage carefully.
The sound from the surroundings suddenly quietened down, and it gradually became silent once there was a beam of light on the dark stage.
Soothing and melodic music slowly went off, like a girl singing softly from a distance, coupled with a euphonious piano sound, it gave out a unique taste.

Nellâs lips moved.
She thought it was going to be a typical performance, but from the looks of it, it was turning out to be interesting.
