She grinned as she changed into her slippers and walked over.

Nell put her bag down before she sat down beside him and had her hands curled around his arm.

“Hubby, it’s been hours since we last saw each other, do you miss me? Have you been a good boy at home?”

Gideon put on a bland look and pulled his arm away from her hands. He then said nonchalantly, “No.”

Noticing that Gideon had pulled his hand away, Nell raised a brow at it curiously.

Just like that, she got up and walked upstairs.

Gideon was surprised by her action as he did not know why she would walk away all of a sudden.

“Wait, shouldn’t she stay by my side and cheer me up? I made myself look grumpy but she didn’t even try her best to cheer me up. Can she put in a little more effort?’

“Am I that boring to her already? It’s been less than five minutes and she’s bored with me?’

The thoughts in his head made his already grumpy mood worse.

So, he slammed the magazine on the tea table and grunted strongly. He started to sulk all by himself on the couch.
