Chapter 233
Spoiled by the President
âSo what are you going to do to me?â
âHmph. Donât worry, you are my sister after all. I wonât cut your face down to make wine.â
Celine suddenly stood up straight and took a step back before she pointed at the men behind her.
âDo you see this? Iâve prepared it only for you. I want to know how Gideon Leith is as a man and whether he is truly loyal to you.
âI wonât kill you, but I will ruin you and then throw you back to him. I want to see whether he will continue to love you and feed you.â
Celine then fished out a syringe from her pocket in which was used to extract some blue liquid from a glass bottle. The liquid was then injected into Nell.
Nell struggled for a bit but it was useless.
Anxious, she asked, âWhat are you doing?!â
Celine chuckled, âDonât worry, itâs not lethal. It will make you feel better later. After all, I want them to rape you, not kill you. Itâs not fun when you are dead, am I right?â
She tapped Nellâs face with a sinister grin before she left Nell with the four men.
Nell was terrified. She might not know what Celine had injected into her but it would certainly be nothing good.
After Celine had left, the men walked up to her.
Nell glared at them as she shook her head strongly.
âDonât! Donât come near me!â She sounded weak and so it aroused the men who then looked at her with a sinister and vicious grin.
âBaby, donât be scared, I promise Iâll go easy on you.â
âCome on baby!â
...
10 minutes later, the underground room was dead silent.
Nell was lying down on the floor. She could no longer feel the pain on her wrist that was caused by all the struggling and her remaining consciousness was slowly fading from her mind.
Her back felt cold, it was as if her body was soaked in a puddle of icy cold water, even her bones felt the chills.
She knew it was a sign of life leaving her body.
No, she could not just die like this! Her strong desire to survive made her bite her tongue and the pain evoked some of her fading consciousness.
It was then she heard a painful grunt further away â someone was struggling to get up.
Nell clenched her teeth and got up before the man. Mustering her remaining strength, she then stomped on the manâs âweak spotâ and with that, the man fell limp and lost all signs of motion.
She sighed a breath of relief and her last bit of strength faded with that powerful stomp.
She held herself against the wall and tried her best to make it to the door, but the more she moved, the blurrier she got.
Her strong will told her to move her body forward but her legs were so heavy like they were infused with lead.
She shook her head, trying to shake off the dizziness.
Nell originally thought Celine had injected some aphrodisiac into her earlier but now it seemed like it was not it.
No matter what it was, the liquid rendered her weak and helpless.
She could not stay in the basement for any longer because if Celine came back, she would not be able to escape anymore.
With that in mind, she clenched her teeth and dragged herself outside the door.
After a long while, she finally saw a dash of light in front of her.
She hastened her steps and finally reached the exit.
As expected, she was in an abandoned hospital in the suburbs.
The original hospital must have moved away, leaving the unwanted medical instruments behind. Since the place failed to welcome a new owner, all the medical instruments remained there to collect dust.
Nell slowly moved forward. It was then she heard footsteps coming from behind her.
She was shocked as she knew someone was coming for her.
She hastened her steps. Fortunately, the footsteps turned away before it could come close enough to discover her.
However, when Nell finally exited the building, she found herself in front of a cliff facing the sea.
The place should be a recuperation center in the mountains. More importantly, the basement that held her hostage only had one exit.
It must be her poor luck that she had chosen the escape direction that led her to a deadend.
Now, she was leaning on the rusty rail with the vast ocean on her left, and on her right was the corridor that she came out from and where the footsteps had walked past her earlier.
No matter which way she chose, the hope of escaping alive was slim.
She believed that if she went back to where she came from, she would be caught by Celine again. Then, she would not be lucky enough to fight the men again with her bare hands and escape a second time.
In the end, after much consideration, she looked at the ocean and jumped off the rail with clenched teeth.
...
Meanwhile, 10,000 km away, in a hotel under Leith Corporationâs foreign branch, Gideon was having a hard time sleeping. He somehow felt nervous and anxious.
He had a bad feeling but he did not know what caused it.
Before the sun even rose, he got up from bed at 5:00 a.m. and went for a jog around the hotelâs lush jogging path. However, the jog did not erase the anxiety in his heart, not a single bit.
With a frown, he returned to his room and it was then when his phone rang.
The caller ID displayed an encrypted number; it was from Nancy.
His eyelid twitched, and he finally realized what had caused the bad feeling in his heart. He quickly went to the table and grabbed the smartwatch that he had taken off before bed.

âWhat happened?!â he shouted fiercely the moment he answered the phone.
Nancy felt guilty even through the phone, in which Gideon too noticed that her voice was soft and weak.
She could not help but be terrified at Gideon. Though no matter how scared she was, she could not afford to delay the report. She must tell Gideon what happened.
âPresident, madam... is gone!â
âWhat?â
âItâs my fault. Madam and I actually planned this out, but something went wrong...â
Nancy quickly briefed Gideon on what had happened, including what Nell told her.
A while later, Nancyâs voice grew softer due to the anxiety in her heart. She said, âIâm sorry, president. I know it is my duty and I will not escape my responsibility but can we do this later? The priority now is to locate madam.â
Gideon took a deep breath and said, âWhere are you now?â
âLeith Manor.â
âBring up every single surveillance camera in the city, Iâm on my way back!â
Fortunately, Gideon had flown to South East Asia first to deal with some matters before flying to the states. So he quickly called a private jet and flew back right away as it was only a three-hour journey.
Three hours later, Gideon was back at Leith Manor.
