Chapter 409
Spoiled by the President
Squinting his eyes slightly, he said solemnly, "My wife is angry. She must be dissatisfied with what I did just now. I have to try again."
"No, no, I am satisfied. I am not angry anymore."
Nell quickly said that in fear that he would really try again.
Gideon chuckled "Are you really not angry anymore?"
"Yes." Nell nodded.
"Well, thatâs good.â
Only then did the man let her go. He got up, picked up the clothes next to him, and said while putting them on, "You can continue sleeping for a while.
I will tell Aunt Joyce and get her to call you for lunch later.â
Nell, who was wrapped in the quilt, asked, "Where are you going?"
Gideon raised his eyebrows. Then suddenly, he leaned over with an evil squint. "What is it? Youâre missing me already?â
Nell glared at him immediately. "No, don't be narcissistic."
As she said that, she wrapped the quilt around herself cautiously and rolled aside.
Gideon could not help but laugh as he looked at her as if she was afraid that he would eat her alive.
He reached out and patted her head, saying, âIâm going out to do something, but you have a rest. I will come home to pick you up at night."
Nell snorted softly.
With that, Gideon left the house.
In the evening, Joelâs birthday party was held at a villa by the beach.
There were not many outsiders and since most of them were brothers, naturally they had fun.
A group of people was barbecuing and drinking on the beach. Present there were Liam, Janet, Owen, Stephanie, Simon and the others. The party was very lively.
The boss of the Foster family, Joel's eldest brother, Alan also came.
This was Nellâs first time meeting Alan. She had heard rumors before that he was a serious and strict person.
Or maybe because of his age gap of nearly ten years with Gideon and Joel, he seemed a little old-fashioned.
However, after hanging out with him, she discovered that although he was not too warm, he was still approachable, and there were no airs about him.
Whereas the one that Nell was most familiar with was Simon.
As they were both in the entertainment industry, Simon was the first one of these brothers to know her. So as soon as he saw her, he called out âSecond Sister-in-lawâ happily.
That itself made Joel laugh at him. Dissatisfied, Simon asked Joel to address her too. Joel was used to calling Nell, Youngest Sister-in-law, but in front of Simon, he refused to do as he wished, so he refused to speak.
When Simon saw this, he went to Gideon to complain, but Gideon knocked his head with the handle of the brush which, in turn, caused him to yell.
âSecond sister-in-law, look at them, theyâre bullying me. Come and help me.â
Nell burst into laughter as Simon rushed up to pull her. "Second sister-in-law, stop laughing. Beat him for me.â
Gideon patted his hand off and said, "Get your paws off her. She is my wife, why will she help you?â
Simon was red with anger, "I know sheâs your wife but she is still my sister-in-law!"
With that said, he pulled Nell towards him again.
Nell could not do anything but get up and look at Gideon and Joel, pretending to be angry. "Don't bully Simon, heâs the youngest. You must respect the old and love the young."
Simon nodded quickly. "Yeah, yeah, I'm a younger brother. You should all love me and spoil me. Why are you trying to bully me?"
Joel laughed so hard that he kept coughing and while he laughed, he said, "Yes, yes, you are the younger brother."
When Simon heard the words, he realized that he was being teased again, and he stared at Joel furiously.
"See, youâre choking on your laughter, thatâs karma!â
Helpless, Nell took a bottle of water and passed it to Joel.
Joel thanked her. Once he had drunk the water, he heard Simon say suddenly, "Joel, everyone brought their girlfriends over today, why didn't you?
Where is that girl?"
Joel's expression suddenly changed. He then glanced at Nell and the others with a guilty conscience before glaring at Simon again.
"Don't talk nonsense, what girl?"
"Tsk, you want to hide it from me? Iâve known it for a long time now. Your girl, surnamed Katz, I heard that sheâs the daughter of Uncle Foster's former subordinate, isn't it? Why didn't she come today?"
Upon hearing this, Nell also smiled. "Yes, Joel, you shouldâve invited Lucy over."
Joel was a little embarrassed to see everyone joking about him.
"I told her about it, but she didn't agree at the time so I donât know if she will come tonight."
After speaking, he turned his head to look at Simon and threatened, "Simon, I tell you, don't call me Joel. I am older than you, you have to call me Third Elder Brother."
Simon dismissed, âCome on, youâre only a few months older than me, and you still want me to call you elder brother.â
âThat few months still made me older than you, say it!â
"No!"
"Are you going to say it?"
"No!"
Joel immediately rushed forward before he threw Simon on the sand and the two of them wrestled.
Nell sat in front of the fire, barbecuing the meat, and laughed involuntarily as she watched them fool around.
What a group of good brothers.
No one would have imagined that these usually high-up lads would fool around like this.
Like carefree children.
Nell smiled while she looked at them for a while, and noticed that the meat was already cooked. She quickly put it on a plate and handed it to Gideon next to her.
"Okay, this is for you."
She handed him the plate but when she turned her head, she saw that his ink-like eyes were staring at her.
His eyes were too affectionate that it made Nell blush and her heart beat wildly.
"Why are you looking at me like that?â
She lowered her head and avoided his eyes.
Gideon curled his lips as he reached out to take the plate. He said, "My wife is gorgeous."
Nell could not help but blush from her cheeks to her ears.
She did not expect the sudden affectionate words from the man so she could only try to change the subject.
"Oh, by the way, I always hear you guys calling each other Second, Third, Fourth Elder Brother, you are Second Elder Brother, so the Eldest Brother is Alan?â
Gideon shook his head.
"Alan is ten years older than us. When we were young, he was thrown into the army by Uncle Foster. So he didn't play with us and wasnât included in the ranks.â
"Well, what happened to the Eldest Brother? Who is he? Why have I never heard of him?"
Gideon was about to hold his chopsticks when his hand tightened instantly.
Upon noticing this, Nell asked suspiciously, "What's the matter?"
Gideon shook his head. His expression returned to normal in an instant as he took a pair of chopsticks from the table and said lightly, "Heâs dead."
Nell was so startled that she accidentally burnt her hand at the edge of the grill.
âAh.â

"Why are you so careless?"
