Chapter 93
Spoiled by the President
Even for someone with great self restraint, he was on the brink of succumbing.
The woman in his arms was beautiful â charming and alluring, like a fine wine to be enjoyed.
Taking a deep breath, he clenched her jaw and kept her kissing-lips-gone-wild under control.
His voice was raspy, like a string about the snap.
âBe good now, huh?â
With eyes misty with desire, Nell stared at him and compliantly nodded as though she understood.
Gideon lifted her to the bedroom and placed her on the bed.
Nellâs clothes were already torn apart but her pants were still intact.
Gideon gently removed her garments and examined her wounds. She was in pretty good condition, except for her arms and a few bruises from either knocks or bumps here and there.
He let out a sigh of relief. Afraid that she might catch a cold, he pulled the sheets over her.
âBe good now and wait for me here.â
With that, he got up to walk out.
Suddenly, Nell tugged him. Gideon looked back and met her aggrieved gaze.
âHubby, are you leaving? Arenât you going to help me?â
With his eyes darker, Gideon curled his lips into a smile.
âAre you that afraid that Iâll leave?â
Nell nodded with all her might.
âThen be good. Iâll wring out a towel and come over.â
âOh.â
Gideon soon returned with a hot towel. Carefully avoiding the cuts on her arms, he wiped her face and hands.
Nell had single-handedly fought four strong men in Pearl River International. The alcohol and food stains all over her body was an unbearable sight.
After he was done wiping her down, Gideon carried her into the washroom for a quick wash.
To refrain from coming in contact with the wounds, Gideon had Nell put her arms in the air during the cleanup. As a result, the woman seized the opportunity to put her arms around his neck for another good round of chewing.
Gideon was on the verge of losing it.
Just then, the doorbell rang.
He picked Nell up from the tub and placed her on the bed in the bedroom. After tucking her under the sheet, he made his way to the door.
Matthew had brought along a female doctor. Gideon let her in while Matthew waited outside.
It was not as though Matthew was incapable of managing wounds but the woman had tender flesh and the cuts on her arms were also pretty deep.
To avoid leaving a scar, it was best he sought out a reliable doctor to handle it. She would need a couple tetanus shots too.
The doctor quickly took care of Nellâs wounds.
However, the drugâs effect was yet to be reversed. The doctor did not have much medicine on her as she came in a hurry. Although she had in possession a type of medicine to relieve her but it had a massive adverse side effect.
Having made his mind that there was no need for that, Gideon waved his arm. He returned to the bedroom after Matthew sent the doctor off.
Under the dark silky sheet in the bedroom, the woman obediently sat there. She was every inch a mesmerizing seductress with her long flowing black hair cloaked over her shoulders and skin as white as snow.
She put on a smile at the sight of him. Nell leaped down from the bed and pounced at him.
âHubby, youâre back!â
Gideon felt a dip of weight over him. Suspending herself around his waist, the woman chained her arms around his neck and flirted.
âHubby, I waited so long for you. I really missed you.â
Gideon, â...â
Feeling a pulse through the veins of his head, he stared intently at the woman before him, his eyes darker and deeper.
âYou missed me?â
âYes, hubby!â
Gideon lifted her towards the bed.
He just made it to the bedside when the woman on him suddenly loosened her grip on his waist. With a tug, she pulled him down.
He was caught in a moment of mixed emotions. Sensing the womanâs eagerness, he teased her. âTsk, Mrs. Leith sure is in a rush. Though, I must say, your clothes removing technique is a little lacking?â
Nell wanted to burst into tears out of anger.
She yanked the manâs belt. However, the belt seemed to have a mind on its own, unwilling to be unbuckled.
âTell me, who am I?â
âHubby.â
âWho is your hubby?â
âGideon Leith.â
It was an absurd night.
...
The next day.
Nell woke with a startle.
She opened her eyes and scoured the four corners of the room in fear. Her heart sank when she realized it was an unfamiliar room.
Shortly, she caught a glimpse of the clothes on the floor. It was her tattered blouse and a manâs shirt.
Struck by a thought, she bent over to pick up the clothes. She was no stranger to this shirt. It seemed to belong to Gideon.
Gideon Leith?
He came?
Did it mean that last night, she was not...
Tickled pink, Nell looked around but there was no sign of the man.
She got off the bed to search for him.
Nevertheless, she writhed in pain at the move of a muscle. Hissing under her breath, she frowned.
Just then, Gideon came in.
âAre you up?â
He looked at the woman in bed while holding a serving tray. The warm smell of breakfast was wafting from the tray.
Nell stared blankly at him for two seconds before returning to reality. With a blushing face, she expressed agreement.
Gideon threw her a meaningful look before placing the breakfast on the bedside table. He then walked over and lifted the covers, making a gesture to carry her.
âHave your breakfast then, since youâre awake.â
Nell drew back. âItâs okay, I can get down myself to have breakfast.â
Gideon let out a smile.
âAre you sure youâre able to walk?â
Nell, â...â
She bit her lips and glared at him.
âYou sure have the nerve!â
âYouâve done me wrong.â
Red in the face by his statement, Nell hemmed and hawed, not knowing how to respond.
