Nell nodded her head and followed him into the guestroom.

In the guestroom, Mr. Donnelly asked his secretary to bring some tea for the guests. He then asked nonchalantly, “May I know the favor that Mrs.

Leith has requested?”

He was a clever man. He knew that Jean might have come up with an absurd proposal, but now, Nell was also present. That meant that they were serious about the collaboration project.

Since the collaboration project was set in stone, he had nothing to worry about.

Before that, he should ask about the favor that the client was requesting.

If it was something that he could do, then he would willingly provide assistance. After all, the Leith family rarely asked someone else for help. If they had to ask for help, then it meant that they could not settle the issue on their own.

Either they had a specific reason to not solve the matter themselves, or the issue was too complicated for them.

Since they had to ask Mr. Donnelly for help, this meant that he could provide assistance on this matter. As such, it would be a wise decision to help them. He could build a solid relationship with the Leith family first, then they could talk about the collaboration project.

Even if Mr. Donnelly failed to secure another collaboration project with them in the future, he could still remain on good terms with them. Since the Leith family would owe him a favor, it would make it easier for him to do business in the capital.

Mr. Donnelly’s heart rate had already exceeded a thousand beats within a few minutes.
