Question for the chapter:

FIRST KISS. What was it like? Are you a Kiss-Virgin?? (I forgot the name for it :/)

I wanna know these cute or awkward stories brownaynay's!

Here comes another chapter..

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

'Ex mate!' I yelled out loud.

I slammed my black queen beside Vanessa's white king.

'Noo! That's unfair!' She yelled back, leaning over the table to see where she went wrong.

'Jess, its CHECKmate' Vanessa's uncle Robbie walked through the living room, toward the Media room.

The bald spot on the back of his head shone brightly with the reflection of the sun on it, making me giggle silently. He was quite fat too, so that didn't help. Uncle Robbie ate so much I'm convinced one day he is going to pop like a balloon.

'But I'm older so I have to win!' Vanessa crossed her arms angrily on her chair.

'But I'm almost turning 10 too!' I exclaimed.

She giggled loudly, a grin on her face.

'It sounded like you said you were gonna be ten-ty two!' She giggled.

'It did!' I laughed out loud.

'You kids are crazy!' Vanessa's Uncle Robbie threw his arms up in the air like a chicken, walking back into the kitchen.

'Hey Ness, wanna go play outside?' I grinned, my missing tooth prominently showing.

'But its so sunny...' She groaned, jumping off the chair. She flicked her straight, tummy length black hair to her back, as I jumped off the chair too.

My feet could just about reach the floor on the lounge room chairs, unlike hers, who was barely even close to it.

'Come on! Or I'll sing the Barney theme song again and again and-'

'Okay! Okay I'll come outside!' She yelled in frustration of my taunting.

'Dont go into the woods kids!' Uncle Robbie yelled with his mouth full for the 100th time this week.

'Yeah yeah!' I said with no concern, as I sprinted outside.

I jumped up and down hyperactively while I waited for Vanessa. She was slowly walking along, which made me so bored I was soon yelling out to Jason's window.

'Jase! Come play with us!' I yelled, knowing his balcony door was open on the second floor.

'But Space Rangers is on!' He yelled back, sounding a bit distressed.

'Please Jase? It wont be as fun without you!' I screamed.

Another sliding door opened above her, an almost black mop of hair popping up.

'Can I come too? I'm bored as' He said, a small pout with his bottom lip.

Clark didnt look alot like me, but he was still my brother.

'You can.. but only if you be the bad pirate guy!' I reasoned with him.

'What about me? Can I come too?' Lacey's head popped up from below Clark's balcony, because her room was downstairs.

'Yes!' Clark yelled excitedly, disappearing inside his and my room.

Lacey giggled, and the both of them came outside the same time as Vanessa.

She was that slow.

Clark was holding onto Lacey's hand as they both went over to the playground in our backyard smiling.

'Jess? You coming?' Vanessa shouted from the swings.

'Yeah, just lemme get Jase' I yelled to her, before going back into the house.

I went up to Jason's parents room, because he is always in there when he watches Space Rangers.

He always wears his Space Rangers hat that he got when we both went to this Space Rangers Convention when he watches Space Rangers too.

'Jase! Come on!' I stood right infront of the television, my hands on my hips.

'But its almost over!' He begun to protest.

He stuck his bottom lip out, and made his eyes look like he was about to cry. He had learnt that from school the other week, and kept using it on me.

'Fine' I grumbled, plopping down beside him on his bed.

I stuck my hand in his almost empty bag of chips, stealing a few. He didn't even notice.

Eventually, after all the end credits rolled, I dragged Jason outside.

'Hello? Captain Space? This is Princess Abigail, over' I made an over exaggerated walkie-talkie sound with my hand against mouth.

Jason laughed lightly, putting his hand on his mouth too.

'Yes, this is Captain Space checking in. How may I help the beautiful princess? Over' He said, looking at me and smiling.

'Oh no. Captain Space would never call me beautiful! Captain Space? Or is that your evil twin? YOU'LL NEVER GET ME EVIL MR. SPACE, OVER.' I raised my voice, looking at Jason with fake horror.

'Oh yes I will! Over!' Jason put his evil face on, and rubbed his hands together like a fly.

Like one of those evil flies that plot your death.

'Never!' I shouted out loud.

I took off in a sprint, Jason following behind me, trying to catch me.

I sprinted into the woods.

"He wont find us here Rae!" I told her, halting behind a tree.

I held in my muffled giggles as I looked back from where I had ran.

I couldn't see any trace of Jason, which was odd. Just plain old woods.

I waited.

I could almost hear the clock ticking.

Tick.

Tick.

Tick.

"Maybe we should go back?" Rae suggested.

It was lonely. And Uncle Robbie did say not to go into the woods.

'EVERYONE INSIDE! NOW!' I heard a panting yet powerful voice in the distance, seeing slight movement through the trees.

"Yeah lets-" I stopped thinking my sentence, and a rough arm wrapped itself around my tummy.

It yanked back hard, and I was tossed up onto a shoulder. It wasn't very nice smelling.

'She's the daughter. She'll be of use' A rusty voice grunted from beside me.

I couldn't see that man's face, nor the one who was holding down my legs so I couldn't kick out of his grip.

'Let me go!' I screeched, slamming my fists against the ugly man's back.

'Shut the kid up' The rusty voice said sharply, like an Alpha.

He was an Alpha?

But Alpha's are good..?

And then there was a dirty white rag in between my lips, tugging hard on the corners of my mouth.

I tried screaming as loud as I could, thrashing my body everywhere. I tried so hard to get out of his hands, but the smelly man was too strong.

'Shut up kid!' A different voice growled. It was the man holding me.

My head was thrown forwards with a force, leaving me a thumping headache.

Thump.

Thump.

Thump.

Step.

Step.

Step.

Thump.

Thump.

Thump.

Scream.

'Lorence you have no place on our land! Leave!' A voice yelled, much closer than far away.

My father.

I spun my head sharply to the left, trying to catch the scene. The furtherest thing I saw was the edge of the woods, to my place.

So I was still at home.

'I wouldn't be too quick to say anything right now Thomas' The Alpha Lorence said.

And with another step of the man beneath me, I was thrown to the floor. I tugged my hands to my chest to break my fall.

I looked up from where I had fallen.

'Dad!' I yelled in relief.

The sound came out as a complete muffle, due to the tight rag still strung over my mouth.

My father froze. His bright eyes widened.

He stood completely still for a moment, staring at me. He looked shocked.

Before I could even reach out to him, two large hands gripped my wrists tightly. They tugged me back, letting my knees scrape harshly against the forest floor.

'Lorence. I will only tell you once. Let. Her. Go' A deep growl erupted from my fathers throat, glaring sharply at him above my head.

'Agreements Thomas! Isn't that why we're all here?' Alpha Lorence chuckled darkly.

He reminded me of the Joker.

'Dont bring the child into this! She has done nothing wrong!' My father growled.

He had this glint in his eye I had never seen before.

A rough hand ran itself down my cheek, making me feel nauseous.

'You know, she'd do great for my... collection' The words rolled off his tongue, his dirty fingers twirling a piece of my hair between them.

I looked up at my Dad. He was counting silently, trying to calm himself down.

"Babygirl. When I say run, run" He linked to me.

I nodded lightly.

My father clenched his fists at his sides, closing his eyes.

"Run"

Alpha Lorence's grip had let go of me slightly, looking at my Dad in curiousity.

I used all my strength and tugged away from his grip successfully. I felt a sharp pain in my left side, but I didn't bother as I sprinted towards the house.

I spun round as soon as I heard a loud growl, to see my father tackle Alpha Lorence to the ground.

And a large man with a scar across his face charging towards me.

I panicked, stumbling a little before starting my sprint again.

Think.

Think.

Think.

I immediately thought of the trap I had set up earlier in the day. Uncle Robbie was teaching us how to set up traps, for even the biggest of werewolves.

A small smile curled onto my lips, looking back at the large man.

I took a sharp left into the woods, making sure he followed me; not Lacey being pulled by Clark into the house.

His steps were loud and thump-worthy. He wasn't very fast either.

I saw my almost invisible trap in the distance.

I slowed down a bit, making sure he was a few feet away from me.

'Stupid kid!' He chuckled, completely out of breath.

I took a massive leap over the fake pile of leaves, landing on the other side of the trap.

I spun round on my heel fast enough to see his face. He looked triumphant for a moment, before he stepped on it.

Immediately, his whole body was thrown forward. He landed face first into the mud I had mixed with syrup from the trees, the thick rope tightening around his calves.

It pulled him straight up, hitting his head hard on the tree before he was left high in the tree, hanging upside down.

The man didn't say anything, cause the hit from the tree had knocked him unconscious.

I grinned at my success.

I didn't bother waiting around any longer, so I sprinted back to the house.

I screeched to a halt at the scene, in complete shock.

The once perfectly green grass was now stained with various bodies, all of whom I recognised from the front row of battle. Blood poured from different parts of their bodies.

None of them were even close to alive.

The people standing were wolves; biting, growling, pouncing. The sight was awful.

War.

'Ahh! Thomas' daughter! There you are!' I zipped around with a glare.

Alpha Lorence stood there, wiping blood off his stubbled  chin. His hair was everywhere, eyes bloodshot. There were dark red stains over the left arm of his white sleeved shirt.

'You see all this blood?' He gestured around him, stumbling lightly.

I followed his hands, seeing the scene I had before.

'Its all your fault. You did this' He smirked.

'B-but I didn't mean to! I-' I stuttered, unable to stop staring at the dead bodies.

'You stupid girl! If you didn't go into the woods like you were told, then Daddy wouldn't have to double cross me would he? Then there would be no war' He circled me, shooting his words like a dagger.

'And you wouldn't have to die' He stood directly in front of me.

My bottom lip trembled as he lifted up my chin to look at him.

'Now would you?' He stared into my eyes, as if trying to crack me.

'No. She wont' A voice growled.

A simple punch dropped Alpha Lorence to the floor, arms scooping me up and rushing inside the house.

Dad held me tightly as he ran up the stairs, letting my eyes trail the once clean living room. The chess board Vanessa and I were just playing on was scattered everywhere, a human body being held down across the table instead of a chess board.

I caught sight of Vanessa kneeing a tall man holding a knife in his man parts.

'Ness! Dad stop for Ness!' I yelled, making him stop at the top of the stairs.

I heard a loud scream, one I only recognized as Mum.

Dad set me down, making me look straight into his eyes. He tried coating the worry in his eyes with a smile.

'Listen babygirl. You've got to be strong okay? Go get Ness and any other of your friends you can, Jason is already there, and go into the wine cellar. I know you know where it is, I saw you trying to get a bottle for Uncle Robbie the other day' He chuckled lightly throughout his rushed speech.

'But Dad why not go to Clark's room-' I begun, but I stopped.

Something must've gone wrong.

'You are going to be a strong leader one day Jess, I can feel it. You've got the Alpha fire in you' He held my hand, smiling lightly.

'You can do this, I know you can. I love you Jess, take care of our pack for me sweetie' He kissed my forehead briefly, hugging me tightly.

Then as quick as the flash he darted off to the next room.

I took a deep breath.

And went down the stairs.

I ducked under the swings of human punches, darted around wolf pounces till I reached Ness.

'Come on Ness, we gotta get out' I tugged on her hand, stopping her from looking at her parents fighting.

'I.. yeah okay' She stuttered, shaking her head lightly.

A sharp swipe of a knife beside us dropped a clunk of Vanessa's long hair to the floor, leaving her hair at shoulder length.

She gasped in horror, spinning around immediately. She slapped the man right across the face, starting to yell at him.

'What the hell do you think you're doing? Cutting off people's hair! I'm not Rapunzel! I dont need a haircut!' She roared, slapping him again.

The anger in her made me giggle a little, as she slapped him once more.

'I hope you've learnt your lesson! Do. Not. Touch. My. Hair!' She yelled, punching him square in the jaw.

She flipped the hair she had left in his face, spinning on her heel and facing me.

'Well come on! Off we go!' She shooed me with her hands.

I rolled my eyes, grabbing her hand and pulling her with me.

We ran across to the wine cellar at the back of the house. I scanned the place quickly, seeing that noone was following or noticing us, before opening the door slightly.

'Go in Ness, Jase is down there. I need to go find Clark and whoever else I can' I said.

I closed the wine cellar door before she could come after me, cause I knew she would. I was gone by the time Vanessa opened it, so she couldn't follow me even if she wanted to.

I went straight to Clark's room, remembering what Dad had told him to do if there was ever an attack.

I had overheard it was his job, as he was the oldest, 12, to get all the kids in his room and keep them safe with whatever he could. Uncle Robbie was supposed to be there too, to look after them.

But as soon as I reached the door, my face immediately turned into one of pure horror.

It was Uncle Robbie.

A sharp sword pierced straight through his chest, a patch of red splattered over his white shirt. There was another knife, holding his now lifeless head up onto the door. His head was cracked open, eyes bashed shut, nose cracked, lip busted open.

I shut my eyes immediately, trying to get the image of his tortured body out of my mind.

I couldn't even open the door.

I forced open my eyes, making sure I didn't look up at Uncle Robbie again before I searched for a way to open the door. It was locked.

'Great' I muttered under my breath.

I kicked the wall in frustration and anger.

This isn't what I wanted my Sunday to be like.

I shut my eyes in silence yet again, holding back my tears.

'Crying doesn't solve, a solution does' I mumbled Uncle Robbie's chant, something he would always say.

A loud click echoed through my ears, my head shooting up to the source.

I jumped up, opening the door as fast as I could.

'Clark? Guys?' I sighed in relief as I opened the door.

The smile dropped off my face.

They were scattered across the floor like flies.

All my friends, in their own pool of cold blood.

'No..' I croaked.

I heard a raspy cough from beside me.

'Clark! Clark you're still here!' I gasped in happiness, kneeling down beside him.

His shaggy black hair was thrown across his face, the way he hated it, his pink lips curled into a weak smile.

'Just about' He joked, making me giggle a little.

He flinched in pain, clutching his stomach.

I removed his hand with my own, making me gulp.

'Youre gonna make it, we've just got to get you to Mum and then-' I started rambling, hoping to pull him up.

'Quit rambling Jay' He grunted quietly.

Tears sprung in my eyes before I could even stop them.

'Im sorry I just.. I don't want you to die' I whispered.

'Neither do I, but hey. Things happen for a reason right?' He said softly, looking to the side of him.

It was Lacey. Dead.

'I guess.. you'll be happy with her, wont you?' I smiled lightly.

'Yeah.' He smiled as wide as he could, as if she was still there.

'So this is it' I said, letting the tears flow down my cheek.

'Woah hey, I'll always be up there' He said, wiping away my tears with his thumb.

'And dont think of getting any boyfriends or nothing, cause I will ghost haunt them till they die' He warned, making me laugh.

'Make sure to take care of that left side of yours.. I would if I could.. I love you Jess and I'll always be here.. dont ever.. dont you ever' He mumbled, fighting to keep his eyes open.

'Forget' He whispered, the sound bounding in my ears.

His eyes still gleaming, and smile upon his lips, he closed his eyes.

'Clark?' I whispered after a few seconds.

No reply.

I ran my fingers through his hair, pushing it up, the way he liked it.

'I love you too big bro' I whispered, leaning in to kiss his forehead.

I stood up, looking up.

'Look after him for me Lacey.. Look after him...'

----

The vision distorted in my head, as I could no longer take it. Tears started to spill out of my closed eyes.

'My um.. after the war was over, I went to find my Dad and he was..' I stuttered.

Christian held me tighter, stroking my hair.

'He was hung on a tree, just to show that our pack was dead. There was only My Mum, Vanessa, Jason and I left over. And then.. after Mum went into a depresssion for about 5 years I just.. anything triggers her off' I muttered across my words.

'Hey' He lifted my chin up to look at him.

'Its okay' Christan said.

Before I could stop myself, I reached up and wrapped my arms around his neck, hugging him back tightly.

He held onto my waist tightly as we sat on our bed, rubbing circles onto the sides of my stomach. He lifted my shirt up slightly on my left side, leaning his head up slightly.

'Is this-' He started.

'Yeah' I finished for him, leaning up a little.

I watched his fingers as they traced along the scar, where Alpha Lorence's knife had pierced me all those years ago.

'Sometimes I wish none of it would've happened. If I had just stayed put, they wouldn't have had anything to base an attack on. They only did it because my father saved me. All that blood is on me' I whispered.

My tear duct was dry by this point, unable to give anymore.

The warmth from Christan was all I was feeling, I had never felt it before.

Not when my best friend hugged me, or when my family held me in their arms.

It used gap filler to carefully seal my heart together, made a massive elephant knot in my stomach flutter. I couldn't seem to contain it, it was barreling out of me.

Its not.. is it?

Shit.
