Valerie suppressed the surging feelings in her heart and maintained her expressionless face as she returned to her room.

She closed the room door and stood there still. She stood there in a

daze.

She gasped for air and tried to calm herself down.

When she totally calmed down, she walked to the desk, took an adhesive tape from her school, and pieced the papers little by little.

Occasionally, she would stop and stare at her homework in a daze.

Then she came back to her senses and continued what she was doing.

Her calm appearance made Jayvion, who was peeking at the door, feel a little shocked.

“Jayvion, I’m asking you to take me to Valerie’s room, not to the warehouse.”
