Chapter 27 Valerie Is Bullied (1)

“Is this Mica?”

“Oh my! I saw his face on the first school day. But he looks more astonishing now: ”

The students looked at Mica’s pretty face.

Some girls were even obsessed.

The moment she went into the classroom. Valerie stayed away from Mica.

Mica looked aside. Valerie wasn’t with him.

Mica was a little disappointed. He pressed his lips and shook his head.

Mica thought. “Don’t be upset. I’m the closest to Valerie in the class!”

Thinking that way, Mica straightened his back proudly

“Valerie, can I be with you in PE class?”

Mica talked to Valerie more and more casually. It only took him one

morning.

Mica and Valerie got closer and closer. Noticing that, Derek got into them in the last gymnastics class in the afternoon.

She didn’t see anyone there. Urged by the driver, Valerie got on the bus.

The bus drove away. A few girls in leather shoes showed up.

Valerie got home. As usual, Reyna and Reese had dinner in the kitchen with Zoe, without waiting for Valerie.

Valerie was just about ten minutes late.

But Valerie didn’t get angry. She was used to it.

Valerie went towards her room. She was about to open the door when she saw Bruce. Bruce was frowning and looking at the paper in his hand anxiously.

Feeling Valerie’s gaze, Bruce turned to look at Valerie, whom he didn’t have many feelings for.

They looked at each other silently.

Suddenly, Bruce’s eyes brightened. After gazing at Valerie for a while, Bruce went back to his room and was busy with his stuff.

“What’s wrong with him?”

Being gazed at for no reason, Valerie secretly rolled her eyes at Bruce.

She opened her door.

Valerie was excited because the things she had bought arrived.

Jayvion thoughtfully put the things on the table in Valerie’s room.

They were unpacked but cleaned.

Valerie casually threw her school bag onto her bed.

She rubbed her hands excitedly. Then, Valerie opened the boxes on her table impatiently with all her might.

Jayvion was at the door with the food tray in his hands. Seeing what Valerie was doing, he didn’t come in.

Jayvion thought, “I’d better let Ms. Valerie finish her work first.”

Valerie looked at the cloth in her hands and the embroidery things happily.

The tools for shooting videos were also on the table. Valerie was so happy. She fondled those things lovingly.

“Guys, let’s work together.”

Jayvion walked in and put the food tray on the table.

“Ms. Valerie, these are all your stuff If you need anything else, just tell me.”

“You are welcome, Ms. Valerie. This is my job. Please put the tray at the door after you finish your dinner. I’ll come and take it.”

After saying that, Jayvion left with a smile.

Valerie was in a good mood and had a better appetite.

She gobbled up her dinner and thought about the designs that would be in vogue.

Valerie was motivated.

While thinking about the embroidery patterns, Valerie suddenly recalled the unfriendly gaze she felt that afternoon.

She stopped eating and frowned.

Valerie lost her appetite again.

She thought for a while. Then, Valerie put the tray at the door and asked Jayvion to get some stuff for her.

The next day, Valerie got on the bus as usual. There were some third- grade and fourth–grade girls. They were chattering. After the bus stopped, the girls immediately looked for Valerie.

After seeing Valerie, they directly stood up from the chair and stared at Valerie

Valerie narrowed her eyes slightly and got off the bus with her school bag

The girl in the lead looked mixed–blood. Her hair was slightly curly.

The girl, Abbigail Howard, looked down at Valerie arrogantly.

Seeing that, Abbigail understood why Grey got expelled.

Abbigail gazed at Valerie in anger.

“What’s your relationship with Mica?”

Valerie felt bored.

Valerie didn’t answer Abbigail’s question immediately. Instead, she looked up and down at Abbigail.

Valerie looked around. Abbigail and her friends were all well–dressed and pretty.

Valerie wasn’t happy with that.

“Keep a distance? Why aren’t you keeping a distance from your fellows here? Can’t I walk with my classmates? Besides, what’s your

relationship with Mica? Why should I listen to you?”
