Chapter 136
Back to the Past: Breaking the Love Spell
For Wandaâs sake, Carlisle had to push forward.
Kane took another look at Carlisle. He did look more mature and composed than his peers.
Kane then reminded him, âIâm a public official. Itâs best you donât joke with me!â
âDo you know Lethan Warbane?â Carlisle smiled and asked.
âHeâs Islo Clothingâs chairman. Iâm quite close with him. Are you his relative?â
Kaneâs expression softened a little. If Carlisle was related to Lethan, then he truly had the ability to
acquire this company.
âIâm not, but heâs going to help me.â
Kane took out his phone and made a call. âLet me ask him.
The call was picked up not long after. âKane, what a surprise! ver expected you would call.â
âDo you know Carlisle?â Kane got straight to the point.
âYes, I know him. Whatâs going on?â
âWhat is your relationship with him?â Kane continued to ask.
âWeâre collaborating, I suppose!â
âAlright, got it. Iâll talk to you later.â
When Kane confirmed that Carlisleâs words were true, he felt a weight being lifted off his shoulders.
He looked at Carlisle and said, âIâll talk to the court. If things go well, you could take over this company
in
three days!â
Carlisle raised his eyebrows. He extended his hand. âThank you!â
Kane smiled and shook Carlisleâs hand, âver thought someone so young would have the capability
to run a factory. I hope youâll be a good boss!â
âYouâre welcome to visit anytime!â Carlisle smiled.
Hank, who was behind Carlisle all the time, was completely stunned.
Although he suspected Carlisle might be interested in working with mobile phones or the internet, he
thought he would start with a studio. Acquiring a company directly was something that never crossed
his
mind.
Kane clapped and told his colleagues, âInform the employees that a new boss will take over the
company. Their wages will be paid in full. The situation should be resolved in about three days.â
With Kaneâs assurance, the staff from the labor and police departments all breathed a sigh of relief,
Kane led Carlisle to Riley Corporationâs management team and introduced him to them.
âHeâll be Riley Corporationâs future boss. Heâll ensure all employeesâ rights are respected and none of
you will lose your pay. You can discuss these matters ahead of time.â
The management team was surprised to see Carlisle.
âHeâs too young. isnât he? If they were going to hire an actor, they could have chosen an adult!â
âExactly, he looks younger than my son. Can he be a boss?â
âDonât underestimate him. He might be a rich helr!â
Carlisle clapped and introduced himself, âNice to meet all of you. Iâm Carlisle. Iâll take over the company
in three days. I hope we can work together well in the future.â
The business departmentâs manager, Victor Clark, pursed his lips and whispered, âHeâs still a kid. Yet,
he wants to manage a factory with over a thousand people?â
The production manager quickly stepped on his foot and said, âCan you shut up? Heâs going to pay us!â
Victor cleared his throat and shut his mouth.
Carlisle heard his complaint. He would deal with him later once he took over the factory.
âWho is in charge of the R&D department?â
This department was Carlisleâs primary concern. It was the factoryâs core department.
A woman in her late 20s stepped forward and said, âMr. Zahn, Iâm Logan Cooper, the head of the R&D
department.â
