Chapter 162
Back to the Past: Breaking the Love Spell
âShane, I want a monthly package, too. 30 bucks, okay?â Daniel put down his game console and asked
âSure, sure. Thank you, Mr. Scott!â Shane hurriedly responded, afraid that Daniel would change his
mind. âShane, do my laundry, too. You can wash them for free today, and Iâll start paying monthly from
tomorrow!â At this moment, Kelvin dragged out a suitcase from under his bed.
Inside was a bag full of clothes. He had yet to wash his clothes since the beginning of the semester.
Even without exercising, it was easy to sweat in them due to the hot weather.
When Kelvin opened the suitcase, a sour smell filled the air.
Shane grinned. âOkay, Iâll wash yours after I finish these!â
I
Carlisle glanced at Kelvinâs bag of almost moldy clothes and said, âThatâs at least five daysâ worth of
clothes. Where do you get the nerve to ask for free washing?â
âCome on, Shane didnât say anything. Why are you being so nosy?â Kelvin glared.
Carlisle told Shane, âShane, donât take Kelvinâs business. Iâll give you an extra 30 bucks each month.â
Kelvin glared at Carlisle with a dark expression. âCarlisle, are you deliberately trying to pick a fight with
me?â
Carlisle casually chuckled. âWell, Iâm just richer than you. If you have the ability, you can give him 60,
too!â
*60 it is!â
âShane, Iâll give you 60 bucks each month. Today.
âIâll give you 120â¦â
Carlisle crossed his arms and interrupted Kelvin, âIf youâre giving 120 bucks, then I wonât interfere with
this matter.â
Kelvin clenched his fists, and his eyes locked fiercely onto Carlisle, who was significantly taller than
himself. He would have slapped him immediately if he could beat Carlisle.
Carlisle smirked. âIsnât your dad rich? Donât you get thousands for your living expenses? Whatâs wrong
with giving 120?â
Kelvin gritted his teeth and said, â120 bucks it is. If you have the guts, keep raising the price!â
Kelvin stubbornly held his ground. 120 dollars wasnât something he couldnât afford. If Carlisle dared to
raise the price, he would double it!
Carlisle waved to Shane. âCofme here, Shane!â
Shane approached nervously, his face tense. âCarlisle, Kelvinâ¦â
Carlisle handed him another 50 and two tens. âKelvin and I will give you 120. But youâll charge 30
dollars
each month for our other classmates.â
Shane stared at the money, feeling stunned. âCarlisle, thisâ¦â
120 bucks was almost half of his monthly living expenses. Were rich people always this extravagant?
Kelvin, unwilling to admit defeat, handed Shane 120 bucks. âCan todayâs clothes be washed for free?â
âUh, sureâ¦â
Shane responded with a blank stare. This 120 bucks would cover his laundry expenses for several
months. What were five daysâ worth of clothes?
Carlisle smirked as he walked out of the dormitory.
Francis was smoking by the roadside outside the school gates. When he saw Carlisle approaching, het
immediately dropped his cigarette and opened the carâs rear door.
After all, Carlisle was now a multimillionaireâpractically a deity to be worshiped.
Carlisle entered the car and said, âTo the Commercial Bankâs Riverwatch branch.â
Francis returned to the driverâs seat and started the car.
Across the street, Sienna stepped out of a taxi. Watching the black Mazda drive away, she furrowed
her brows slightly.
âWas that Carlisle? Was I seeing things, or was that really him?â
