Chapter 63
Back to the Past: Breaking the Love Spell
âI met up with Sean and Lily for dinner last night. Christine later told me that she wanted to thank me for
my help and thought of treating me to a meal, so I invited her to join us.
*She and Lily ended up having a bit of alcohol, and I was worried they wouldnât be safe staying at the
motel. Hence, Sean and I decided to take them to a hotel. The two of us shared a room while Lily and
Christine shared another.â
Carlisle patiently explained to Wanda what had happened.
Girls had a tendency to overthink things. So, it was best to clear everything up.
Wanda turned toward him. âYouâre not lying to me, are you?â
Carlisle put up his hand and said solemnly. âI swear that if Iâm lying, ââ¦â
âDonât say it.â Wanda reached out to cover Carlisleâs mouth. Feeling his warm breath lightly brush
against her palm, she immediately withdrew her hand.
Carlisle grinned. âYour hands smell niceâ¦â
Wandaâs face turned even redder. She lifted her hand and pinched his thigh.
âOuchâ¦â Carlisle cried in pain as he grabbed Wandaâs small hands.
Her hands were soft and smooth, sending ripples through Carlisleâs heart.
Throughout his two lifetimes, this was his first time holding a womanâs hand.
Wandaâs face was beet red. The last time she held a guyâs hand was when she was six years old. It
was Zachary taking her to the amusement park to play.
Carlisleâs hand was warm, and it made her feel oddly safe.
âHey, the teacher is comingâ¦â A chubby girl behind them whispered.
Wanda immediately snapped back into her senses and withdrew her hand.
A woman in her late twenties walked in with a stack of documents in her hands.
She was dressed in a tight pencil skirt, and her hair was tied into a ponytail. It made her look
professional.
âLet us begin!â the beautiful teacher said in a gentle voice. Since a class monitor had not yet been
appointed, all the students stood up in a somewhat disorganized manner.
They greeted, âGood morning, Missâ¦â
âGood morning, students. Have a seat!â
As everyone sat back down/many male students couldnât help but glance at their beautiful guidance
counselor.
âWelcome everyone to our first class. Iâm your guidance counselor, Susan Lowe Susan placed the
documents on the podium and then gave everyone a sweet smile.
The students instantly erupted in applause.
âWoah! Our teacher is so beautiful!â
âShe looks so young! Is she even qualified to teach us?â
âShut up! You shouldnât question Ms. Lowe!â
âYeah! With such a beautiful teacher, does it even matter if sheâs qualified?â
The group of male students continued to discuss Susanâs good looks. Even Wanda couldnât help but
exclaim, âMs. Lowe sure is prettyâ¦â
âIs she? I think youâre prettier!â Carlisle seized the chance to flatter her.
To be frank, Susan was indeed beautiful.
She had fair skin and wellâdefined features, which gave off an air of sophistication.
âYeah, right! Your eyes seem to say otherwise!â
