Author's Note:

To all my readers, please take note, I recently updated the story - adding an extra layer and few more chapters.

The reason I'm informing you of this is because I regrettably have no idea how to just add extra chapters in between ones already posted (if that is even a possibility). So I ended up shuffling the original chapters around quite a bit to help the story fit.

The repercussions of this is that some of my original reader's comments might seem wholly random since I doubt the comments were willing enough to up and move along with the chapters. So I humbly ask any new readers to please overlook this fault.

To anyone rereading the updated version, you may want to take a second glance at chapter 3 and 4 (which were changed), and chapter 9, 11, and 17 (which were newly added).

Anyhow, before the story starts, let's take a quick peak at our main characters:

By the way chapter 2-3 contain a lot of information regarding how the world works, so just bear with me, the story will start to pick up after that.

Alythia Ashwrith = Height: 169 cm

Karlyle Karnage = Height: 186 cm

Kloeye Karnage = Height: 154 cm

Ray Rivermore = Height 172 cm

Blake Barendes = Height: 183 cm

Damien Damiano = Height: 172 cm

Diego Damiano = Height: 175 cm

Lastly, The place where the story takes place: the country of Elysium

Oh and for those who are new to fantasy I thought it would be helpful to just show you what the 5 mythical beasts (Familiars) in this world look like incase you don't recognize the names I use:

1. Dragons (everyone kinda knows what they look like but I'm just including a picture for the sake of being complete)

2. Basilisks (giant serpent thingies)

3. Sphinx (they look quite different depending on who you ask but I'm going for a lion-eagle mix in this world)

4. Cerberus (three-headed deadly doggy)

5. Unicorns (also a well known one)

PS: These are just references, but you are free to use your imagination if you want to imagine them a bit differently :)

And as a little sidenote, the meaning of these two names will become quite significant in the story:

Izana = means "to call, beckon, invite"

Nyfia = from the greek word  νυφη  (Nyfi) means "bride"
