Chapter 12

The Alpha's Addiction [BxB]

The scent of fresh blood alerted him.

So did the smell of a distant mate.

Grim then growled within his head.

Miranda called. "Come in."

Al then whirled around, his tentative amber eyes monitored the twirling of the office doorknob. His every nerve growing sensitive while the hairs of The Alpha's nape stood straighter than ever.

It's him, that boy. Grim whispered.

The deadliest and most gorgeous face he's ever laid sight to slouched at the doorway, Al was feeling several things at the same time that his brain couldn't keep up with, what was happening to him? Was Al actually feeling...nervous? Quickly, those onyx pupils directed to him and Al's two feet had weighted tons.

His eyes were like a dark force.

This mystery boy had both lighted up the room by just entering and created an unpredicted blackout the minute he was seen; resembling a thunder storm.

Despite his slouchy looking stance and lowered head, Al could sense that there was this unmistakable strength in this black haired boy just waiting to strike, once provoked enough to a bad degree.

Everything felt right at that moment.

Al suddenly felt the urge to shift then.

He looked like the perfect prey to kill.

It was so easy to just take this boy too.

But before Al could act out any of this, Miranda had beat him gesturing to the fallen heavy phone book that was still on the floor, the same one she threw at her nephew. "Sorry, I dropped that. Can you please pick it up for me, Cyrus."

That's his name...Cyrus. Al thought, he thinks the boy's name is fierce while observing Cyrus's every single actions.

Cyrus glanced down and reached out for the yellowish book using his right hand and still keeping his left injured one inside his pants pocket. Making his way across the principal's office Cyrus ignored Al altogether, as if this demigod shaped handsome boy wasn't there, which both insulated and intrigued The Alpha, because Al isn't used to being this purposely disregarded...by anyone.

Werewolves and humans alike.

This only fuelled Al's mind about his earlier thoughts that Cyrus, his new roommate starting today is possibly a young Rogue, disguising himself as a Stray werewolf to infiltrate their pack.

It makes absolute sense.

His reluctance to acknowledge Grim, and his wolf is probably just like him.

Silent yet deadly.

That aura of darkness and rebellion in his eyes that tells Al; he won't submit.

Denying an Alpha.

Plus the smell of dead werewolves, Al was informed about after he got here.

A Rogue werewolf.

And unfortunately, Al was attracted to this boy now that he saw Cyrus again.

"What can I do for you?"

Miranda asked taking the phone book from Cyrus and smiled at him, she was also very worried of her aggressive nephew's wolf, along with her own too. Grim was growling at the unaware boy, Miranda can obviously hear Saber's as well but Cyrus is completely oblivious to their sounds like he was deaf to it.

Because he was, Cyrus can't hear it.

He held out the folded piece of paper to her, and Miranda's eyebrows furrow in confusion yet took it anyway. Cyrus hadn't said anything as she read the contents of it. Meanwhile, Al was both glad and wary to know this boy gave the silent treatment to everyone, not using his words and he wasn't the only one receiving this stone-cold attitude.

Al noticed, Cyrus had this smeared mole on his bottom lip that kinda stretched itself. The Alpha was now ogling at him.

Stop staring at me already. This dude is giving me THAT look again, like he just wants to smack or fuck me. Cyrus then turned his face to the side, pretending he was looking at the office furniture.

Titling her head upwards, Miranda had now appeared more stern and formal.

"Do you know who it was?" Miranda spoke but she knew, she just needed Cyrus's confirmation to proceed things.

Unexpectedly, Cyrus took out his left hand and pointed directly to Al, who was worried seeing the bleeding and inked hand. He wanted to grab Cyrus's arm to examine his wound, but Al recalled the last time he touched Cyrus and was cautious about what would be the consequences if he did touch him without asking Cyrus's permission first.

He'd likely tell Al to get lost and stay the hell away from him; that would hurt Al.

Extremely.

"I see...alright I'll handle this, thank you for reporting the incident Cyrus. You can go back to your dorm room, and rest assured Al will be subjected to his punishment." Miranda promised him.

Cyrus just nods then quietly left.

-------------

Closing the door he couldn't help but wonder, what was that feeling he had inside the principals office? It's like he was being watched by something in that room other than Al and their principal.

Cyrus can't also shake the conversation Al and Miranda were having that his wide hearing picked up before he had knocked on the principals office door.

What exactly did Al wanted to do with his personal files to him asking 'What the hell is he!?' Cyrus pulled at the hem collar of his dark gray uniform shirt.

Cyrus thinks. Does it have something to do with me wearing this Black dog tag?

He didn't feel like displaying his dog tag after what Maylin told him at dinner.

"You're the only one who has...that. The last person who was given a Black dog tag is long dead." Maylin seemed really serious about it, so he doubts she lied.

Going back alone to the dormitories, Cyrus now truly saw the difference of size and luxuriant design of his room.

That surely was only meant for Al.

Taking his uniform off and peeling on his off blue shirt and secondhand jeans that Cyrus had already worn coming here. He placed his backpack to the empty regular sized bed that was on the other side of this trashed dorm room.

Cyrus looked around; repulsed.

How could anybody sleep in this place?

Does this guy secretly have a pet dog?

No wonder he smells like an animal!

Cyrus crossed his arms, shaking his head and is annoyed with this mess.

He behaves like one too.

Either way, he wasn't going to sleep in this god forsaken room without doing something about it. Whether Al likes it or not he was going to get rid of all this, Cyrus then goes on to find the broom.

-------------

"What the fuck did I say about being nice and not trying to harm your new roommate!? Is it really that difficult for you to be a decent person!? Tell me Al!" Miranda ranted and stood up from her seat to confront her violent nephew.

"Moon Goddess, you sound just like Grannie." Al complained, she frowned hearing that comment. "Don't change the matter here young man, I won't tolerate bullshit; especially yours. This isn't how an Alpha is supposed to be."

Miranda then lifted the paper Cyrus had given her, Al stole it glaring at the detailed complaint about him choking Cyrus to his bed. But when he turned the paper around, this rather childish drawing of them made The Alpha almost laugh out, because it was cute.

Though Al didn't, instead he frowned as well because the drawing was of him looking angry and Cyrus seemed really uncomfortable...maybe even scared if Al thought about it, if he was put in the boy's shoes and this upsetting depiction Cyrus made of their first encounter, of course he'd be angry with him. Nobody deserves to be treated that way and---

Al heard laughing; it's Grims.

His wolf began solely speaking to him.

Grim scoffed. Who the fucking hell fire cares? We're an ALPHA, Cyrus should be afraid and cower at our shadow Al.

Al could feel Grim's fur brushes the side of his head as the hound whispered.

I seriously didn't sense a wolf in that strange boy, but we both know Cyrus could be that good at hiding secrets Al.

Grims steamy breath fanned his ears as his long tongue licks Al's earlobe gently.

We can't trust Cyrus; even if he's our mate...though, do we actually need one? Al. Do I have to remind you? About...

N-No, I get you...

Good, because we BOTH know. A fuck is all what we're after. Then we kill it.

You're right, we just want Cyrus's body...

It's great you understand me well Al.

Because I'm only protecting you.

You only need me, you're Grim.

He nods and agreed with Grim. "I didn't even squeeze that much---I thought he was an intruder! because I don't like having a roommate, remember? I'm also not apologizing to the likes of him!"

Placing both her hands onto her hips Miranda glares at Al, putting her foot down. "Last I remembered this is my school and you're still not my Head Alpha, and this is why you should have a roommate Al. Deal with it or you can walk away." She then pointed to the doorway. "My doors always open but once you do Al, don't expect me to stop you from becoming what you hate the most; a Rogue. So...Make. Your. Choice."

Author's Note :

*hides Grim somewhere*

Everyone is gonna hate Grim now so I better hide him somewhere, I still need the mut to continue this book while I finish this chapter up, oh and I have a another book I'm working on but this one is waaay more...

Serious? Intense? Bloody?

I'm not sure how to put it.

I'll be releasing it once I have five or ten chapters done, since I plan to make it really action packed. It involves a hitman / assassin, school full of young juveniles and a nerd with his crazy six siblings.
