Officer Tong informed the fourth prince: “Your Highness, a girl attacked me in the street when I tried to question her, and she even fought back.”

The fourth prince’s gaze landed on the chunky swelling on Officer Tong’s left cheek. “So, you’re telling me you were beaten by a girl?”

Officer Tong shamefully lowered his head.

The second boss hadn’t yet figured out who the fourth prince was. He started: “Young Master, here’s what happened. Our medical hall just opened, we’re not very familiar with the Capital City. We treated a patient that upset this gentleman here, who picked a fight with our doctor, and even called for backup.”

“Four… Your…” As the guard began to speak, the menacing glare of the fourth prince silenced him. He stammered: “Your Highness, they treated Liu Yisheng!”

The Liu family once plotted against the fourth prince’s late Emperor father. How could the fourth prince allow the descendants of Liu to be treated?

Stinking girl, you’re dead meat!

“Who treated him? This lady?” The fourth prince’s eyes slowly fell onto Gu Jiao. He narrowed his eyes and a cryptic smile played on his lips. “If the girl does not know who Liu Yisheng is, it’s fine if she has treated him.”

The guard was stunned.

The threat from the remaining three guards was palpable as they gazed at Gu Jiao.

Gu Jiao slowly advanced a few steps towards the fourth prince and met his eyes.

The fourth prince smiled, ready to hear her name. He didn’t expect her to abruptly pull him off his horse. Deftly, she mounted the horse and galloped away!

The fourth prince didn’t know what hit him. ‘…’

Furious, he shouted: “Chase her down!”

All four martial artists simultaneously dashed towards Gu Jiao.

Frankly speaking, this was Gu Jiao’s first time riding a horse and her riding skills were rather raw. It didn’t take long for the guards to catch up with her.
