CHAPTER THIRTY ONE

TREVOR'S P.O.V

The drive was fast back to the pack house, I think Luke is really restless and he really wants to know what happened to his pack which on my side I believe nothing serious as happened cause I know the Gammas and Head warriors are capable enough to handle anything thrown at them and the same time to keep the pack safe.

Reaching the pack house grounds everything is just like how we have left and few improvements here and there and after all we were gone for two weeks only. I see Max, Chris, Darius, Alex and Cole at the main entrance with smiles on their faces. After we parked and got out of the car we greeted eachother with hand shakes and hugs and kisses as in Cole, Nick and Mark and everyone starts to converse about everything.

" Where is everyone else?" I ask as I don't see some of the people.

But before anyone could answer, we hear something in the clouds flapping very hard and loudly. The closer the sound gets the stronger the winds get until they landed few feet from the pack house. Its Matt, Avery and Liam and they are in their dragon's form well expect for Matt who is just a wolf with wings and not all dragony. Few minutes and they all change back into their human forms and they are all naked...three broad, muscular men walking with their stuffs out, I think I have been staring too long until I don't see anything cause it is all dark infront of me, and that is when realization hit me when I hear a growl from beside me, It is Dylan who covered my eyes with his hands.

" Ooh....come on they are my brothers what harm could happen?" I say as I try to pry his hands off my face.

" Liam is not your brother neither is Avery", Dylan says as he removes his hand willingly from my face as I have failed miserably to pry them myself.

" Liam might be a brother from another mother", I say winking at him as they are all dressed now." Avery is my brother in law so yeah they are my brothers".

" What was that?" Nick asks. Which we were all confused cause they don't usually go all dragon and fly around often, maybe when they practice but also its rare to see them in their dragon form as we want to keep a low profile in all dragon thing.

" We were patrolling", Matt replies as they start to greet us.

" In your dragon form?" Dylan asks.

" yeah, its much faster and you can see everything almost at once when you are up there and also clearly". Liam replies this time.

" When did this start?" Dylan asks but this time directly to Max and Chris.

" Well about that, I think we should head inside and talk about few things". Max says as he leads the way to the office.

Well when we got out of the cars and greeted each other the warriors went about their own ways, as they don't need to be around us anymore they have done their job. Reaching the office we find Levi,Jordan and Myron. After we all greeted eachother, we take our seats and start to talk. Yeah well its not a meeting its more like catching up on the events that we have all missed on each others end.

Dylan did all the talking as he tells them on what have happened in the Fallen Angels. He told them about the new packs that we have aligned with Rising moon pack and Red Moon pack and we still have the bond with the three neighboring packs as usual, He also tells them about the Silver Moon Pack. Which most of them were sad when I told them about the attack on the pack leaving young Alpha and Beta to defend for themselves and the pack. Also the meeting that will be held in the Silver moon pack between Forest Hills and Red moon. They already knew about the removal of Nobility pack before we left, so we just confirmed to them that they are no longer our allies.

Now it was their time to tell us what we missed which it was shocking than our side of story. The pack was attacked and they didn't say anything cause they didn't want to get us worried and also it was something that they handled as they were no causalities and every pack member is accounted for. Also they increased wards at the boarders which explained to why we felt that something was different about the pack's grounds. At which the feeling will wear off after two days or so. Also for more measures Liam, Matt and Avery are patrolling the pack's lands from above twice a day to just be safe as no surprises needed.

" Well I will call Hayden, Rex and Asher to inform them about your patrolling just incase they see any dragons in the sky to not be alerted. Also you could go around their boarders and see if they are safe too". Dylan says as he takes his phone and starts to search for their names.

Which everyone agreed and we all stand up as we start to go to the direction of the dinning room as it is dinner time. Thankfully cause I am starving and exhausted, I just want to sleep. Upon entering the dinning room am being embraced by Ty which made me stumble back a bit to catch my balance.

" Hey buddy", I say patting his head.

" Am glad you are home". He says as  we part from the hug. " I have missed you alot".

" Ouch...how about me?" Mark asks as he stands beside us.

Which made Ty to embrace him too, " I have missed you too Uncle Mark".

" I have missed you too kiddo", Mark says as he smiles at him. " Did Uncle Matt and Max treat you good while we were gone?"

" Uncle Matt yes but Uncle Max not really, he was mean", Ty says pouting which he only earn a growl from Max. " See what I mean".

" Max", Mark slaps Max's shoulder. " Let the boy be".

Max rubs his shoulder while eying Ty, " Whatever". He says taking Chris and Darius with him as they walk ahead of us.

" So how are the girls?" I ask as we full entered the room.

" They are okay, Daddy and Papa are with them", He replies as he takes us to where Travis and Damien are.

We all greeted eachother  and start to make small conversations catching up, until Travis tells me about Tyler's unexpected behavior which I promised to talk to him although I heard that Damien already did the talking. About few minutes of mingling as pack members are also here. Not all of them but the ones who are leaving at the pack house and those who wanted to come although they don't stay at the pack house as some of the families prefer to eat at their homes. The dinner is served and everyone started to get what they want and started to eat.

After one hour of dining and conversing we decided to call it a night and everyone went to their own thing either patrolling, watching movies, cuddling, sleeping, sexing I don't really care cause am too exhausted to care and I need to sleep. So Dylan and I were the first to say our goodbyes although it is still early and walked to our house and directly to our room.

We both showered, separately of course and headed for bed. Dylan is sleeping on his back as he faces the ceiling board and he is shirtless as he is only wearing a sweatpants but am in both sweatpants and T/shirt as it is alittle cold tonight. Bringing myself to his chest, I lay my head there as I draw circles on his stomach.

" If you don't stop doing that, I might not be able to control myself and we need to sleep", He says as holds my hand so I could stop.

Which I raise my head to look at him in his eyes smiling, " Okay". Is all I say as I lean in to give him a quick kiss. After we part my eyes goes directly to his neck noticing something is missing.

" You never take it off, what happened?" I ask.

He brings his hand on his neck, " I took it off when I was bathing I must have forgot to put it back on". He says as he tries to get off bed.

Which I stop him before he ruined our perfect position, " Its okay. Its not like its going anywhere you will get it tomorrow".

Which he agreed and we went back to sleep.

" Goodnight love", He says or more like Luke says.

" Goodnight babe". I kiss his chest and am off like a light.

MOMENTS LATER.

I feel someone shaking me, more like aggressively. Coming back to reality I feel like I just inhaled smoke which made my eyes to flutter open. I see smoke everywhere and I don't know where it is coming from but before I could ask what is happening I hear a loud bang and the door flies open its Nick.

" We need to get out now, the house is on fire", Nick shouts and then he goes to another room doing the same.

I feel like am loosing all the fresh air to breath as smoke is the only thing around us now. In a moment am being swept into Dylan's arms and we start to go to the direction of the entrance. About passing I see everything is on fire so I can't really know where it started. Upon reaching I find everyone outside. Dylan puts me down as he starts to look for any injuries that I might have but I am okay, so I do the same to him and he is okay.

I look at the rest of them and no one was injured we just got out in time. But everything changed when I hear Dylan growl and curse to himself.

" Hey are you okay?" I ask him as I get close to him.

" I forgot my neckless inside, I need to go and get it", He says in a panic tone.

" You don't need..." But before I could finish he slipped through my hand and he runs into the burning house.

" Dylan!", I call for him but he is far gone.

As I am about to take a step towards the house, someone holds me tight restricting me from moving any further. Because right now I don't see a house on fire, I see my mate getting inside the house that it is literally on fire and I need to get him out.

" Let Me Go", I yell at the person as I try so hard to wiggle out of his hold.

" Trevor Stop, Trevor stop", Its Max yelling back at me. Which I get more frustrated as I want to get to my mate.

But before I could protest any further, like a bomb went off inside the house as every window is blasted from inside as the fire looks for a place to escape and anything that is closer was thrown even further.

"DYLAN!"

A/N

Few things to clear.

Avery is the dragon that breaths Ice and Liam is a dragon who breathes fire. I think along the chapters I have mixed this and this is me clearing up.

Ice dragons are found in the mountains as the Fire dragons are found in the underground caves.
