CHAPTER THIRTY FOUR

TREVOR'S P.O.V

It is another beautiful morning the sun is shining so bright, birds are chirping everywhere and it is chilly outside which it is the best weather I could ask for because am outside training. Who would ever thought sweating and being breezed by wind would feel so energetic that someone can train all day. Good thing it is weekend.

Today am training with the hunter warriors including Tyler just outside the pack house, we are all currently shirtless just wearing sport shorts making our hunter's marks to be visible to everyone. Well hunter's mark comes visible the moment you start to embrace your hunter's side and the hunter's mark shows what kind of weaponry someone will be using it is their inner strength weapon.

I have a sword mark on my back, Jared has a spear on his back, Henry has an arrow on his back, Patrick has an axe on his chest, Jeremy has daggers on his both shoulders, George has a bullet on his chest and the rest of them have different kind of weapons that I don't even know their names yet but on the other side Tyler has an arrow on his back and three little throwing knives known as Kunai on his chest. Which it is rare for one hunter to have more than one weapon but Ty is considered lucky one or maybe one of the weapon belonged to his father once cause he never became a full hunter he inherited one or he is just lucky.

Henry is training Tyler to shoot arrows as he is also an arrow guy and am sparing with Jeremy and Jared, while George is far from us doing his target practice and the rest of them keeping on training themselves according to their own weapons. After three hours of training non-stop we all drop down exhausted trying to catch our breath.

" When are you going to silver moon pack?" Tyler asks as he comes to sit next to me.

I look at him wondering why he asked, " Soon, why?"

" I was wondering if I could tag along". He asks looking everywhere but me.

I let out a laugh, " You know Myron won't let you go alone".

" I know, that is why we will both go with you". He says lying on the grass. " So, can we come?"

" Yeah sure, why not".

He smiles widely as he closes his eyes which I nudge him to his side. Before I could say anything my phone rings. Looking at the caller ID it is Damien. So I pick up.

> Good morning Damien Yes he is here with me Okay I will, see you soon Hey Travis, am with Matt, Mark and Max Hey boys Hey Travis I am glad you are all there, Lunch at my house I have some news I want to share with you Is everything okay? Yes everything is okay. Now get your butts hear at 12. You got me? Yes< We all say. We bid our goodbyes.

After the call ended, " Do you think he is pregnant?" Mark asks.

" What?" We ask in unison. That is when Mark stands up which I followed picking up my things and we all start to walk in the direction of the pack house.

" Do you know something that we don't?" Matt asks Mark.

" No", He replies.

" Tell us", Max insists.

" What should I tell you? I don't know anything", He says smiling as he picks up some pace.

" He definitely knows something, why is he smiling and running away", I tell them. " Get back here", I shout at him has he already had a head start so we all chase after him.

" You better hope we don't catch you", Matt shouts at him too.

Has we are about to reach the pack house entrance Dylan, Nick, Chris, Levi and Darius emerge from the door which gave Mark an opportunity to run behind Nick.

" Woah...woah..Get your dirty paws away from my mate", Nick says as he shields Mark behind him.

" You have no idea what is going on", Max snorts at Nick still trying to grab Mark from behind him.

" And I don't care, stay away", Nick protests. " Chris would you please take your mate away". In a second Max is pulled away from Nick.

I did nothing to try to get to Mark cause I know I won't be of successful and neither Is Matt who is currently hugging Levi now. So I move to where Dylan is.

" Hey", He greets as he removes some of the hair on my face.

" Hey", I greet back. " Travis invited us for lunch today so I won't be here with you. But we could have dinner together is that okay with you".

He smiles, " Yeah sure, its okay". He tries to pull me close to him which I only step back.

" What are you doing? Am all sweaty and sticky and probably need a shower". I tell him.

He only pulls me closer to his body and leans in to give me the most hot passionate kiss ever, " I don't care". He says after we part for air.

" He is definitely a bottom",  Max says looking at me which I only blush hiding my face into Dylan's neck.

" A what?" Dylan, Chris, Nick, Levi and Darius ask in unison not understanding. Which made the rest of us to laugh at their now confused faces.

" Don't worry about it babe it is nothing serious", Mark tells Nick as he kisses him.

And for that we all go inside the pack house. Well our house is almost done, it is just a matter of time until we move in.

AT TRAVIS'S HOUSE.

Well lunch went by very fast as we cooked, ate and cleaned. Damien is out with Tyler, Devyn and Daizy having Father and children bonding time. After Lunch we all sat in the living room trying to catch up on everything  that we have missed on each other.

" Okay so tell us the big news", I tell Travis.

He looked at us with a smile, " Damien proposed to me and I said yes". He says showing his ring which neither of us noticed. " And I wanted to tell you guys first before anyone else".

" Ooh..", Is all I could say after none of them said anything.

" Ooh? atleast you could have pretend to be happy for me?" Travis says disappointed.

"Its not that. Its just we did not expect that", Mark says.

" I mean are you sure cause it didn't go so well last time", Max asks him.

"What happened last time?" Matt asks confused.

" My fiancee died and I was depressed", Travis says. " Yes am sure, for crying out loud we have three children and he is my mate. Maybe it wasn't meant to be with Emilia but with Damien yes am sure".

" Okay if you are sure then we are happy for you and congratulations bro", I say as I go to hug him followed by the rest of them.

After the hug, we ask him alot of question about the proposal and wedding date. Which the wedding will be next weekend and he wants us to be his groomsmen. We talk for awhile until Damien was back with the kids and it was our cue to leave as it is almost dinner time anyway.

Reaching the pack house I go about looking for Dylan. I go directly to his office but he is not there, so I go to the beta's suite next. Opening our bedroom door I find Dylan asleep. So I walk to the bed removing my shoes I lie next to him as I start to remove all the hair that are on his face when they were gone I start to trace his face with my fingers, when I reach to his lips he opens his eyes as he is met by my own.

So I take my hand at the back of his head as I move closer to him so I could kiss him which he complied immediately and the next thing I know he flipped us around and am lying on the bed as he is on top of me as he deepens the kiss.

And dinner is long forgotten.

JORDAN'S P.O.V

At the night of the fire.

I am in my room doing some reading about different kind of herbs and I can't seem to understand either one of them as I have got a new case in the hospital that a pup as came across upon unknown plant and ingested it which caused him to get really sick.

I yawn for what seems like a fourth time, looking at the clock it almost midnight. Well I guess I should call it a night cause everyone else is probably asleep by now and I can deal with this tomorrow.

I get up from my desk leaving everything they way they are, walking to the bathroom doing everything I can possibly do. I put on a T/shirt and a track trouser cause it is alittle cold tonight. As am about to get in bed, I feel something different like a chill has pass me through.

Looking at the windows they are all closed but still I can't shake the feeling. Has am about to ignore the feeling I feel like someone is trying to pass against the wards that is when my whole body stayed alerted. So I decide to walk outside my room and go to beta's room cause they are closer to mine.

But before I could reach my hands starts to glow pink. Pink glow? I ask myself that is when it clicked mate or should I say Link. Werewolf and other creatures calls their better halves mates but us witches and warlocks we call them Links. And I could feel my Link so close like really close by the way pink glow keeps on getting stronger.

The next thing I know, a huge flame is busted throw the living room heading towards the kitchen and some starts to come upstairs. Looking at my hands the glow has started to fade meaning my Link is getting away. Hell no if I would let him/her get away.

I run into beta's room thankfully its not closed and I did not find them naked either. So I shake Nick up.

" Wake up, there is a fire we need to get out of the house now", I yell at him. " Get everyone out now".

After that I run outside to the direction of my Link's presence cause I could feel which part of the ward has been lifted. The more I get close to my link the more the glow ignites until I spot someone a few feet away from me and is close to the border.

" STOP!" I shout at the person as I throw a ball of fire infront of him/her. The person stops but I couldn't fully see the person as he/she is giving me his/her back and he/she is wearing a cloak.

"Turn around", I tell the person when I was closer. That is when the person turns with a pink glow in her hands looking at me. Yes the person is a her and she is beautiful.

" Why did you do that?" I ask her, which she only looks down. " You could have killed me?"

" I did not know that you are in there, the moment I knew I left", She says.

" Who sent you?" I half yell at her, which she only flinch and takes one step back.

" I can't tell you that",She says looking at me ready to bolt.

" Please don't run", I tell her or like asked her to stay.

" I can't stay, you either capture me or let me go", She says taking another step back.

I just look at her, she looks frightened and sorry at the same time. I think she is getting orders from someone and I believe I know where, so I do something stupid and dangerous.

" I will let you go but before that will you atleast tell me your name?" I tell her.

She debates alittle looking if am telling her the truth, " Mia".

" Jordan"

" It is nice to meet you Link", She says. For that she walks to where she crossed earlier but before she could cross she turned around, " I wish I could stay but my family needs me". For that she is gone and the wards came back to normal.

Did I just let her leave?

Dang, I feel a little pain in my chest. Alpha's pain to the pack members.

Dylan! I whisper to myself has I start to run back to the house.
