CHAPTER TWO

TREVOR'S P.O.V

I know I'm a creep right now by staring at him like this but I can't help it. His eyes are back to be Amber again. Black hair. Broad shoulder and Muscled too. He is the same height or a little taller than me.

This guy is pretty. I know I said males are not pretty but this guy. He is trying really hard to question my sexuality right.

" Are you okay there mate?" He brings me back to reality.

" I.....I.....What?" I stutter. I hate myself right now.

" Are you okay?" He repeats.

" Me...No.....I mean Yes. Yes, I am okay. are you?" I stutter again. What the hell am I doing?

" I am not the one who fell on the ground". He says taking a step in front of me.

I step back, " I was not looking, sorry about that".

He kept on staring at me as if he is studying me or something. He called me mate. Am I his mate? I wish Max and Mark were here right now.

" So where were you off to in such a hurry?" He asks but this time looking straight into my eyes.

" Class". I swallow hard at nothing.

" Which one?" He leans closer right to my ear.

Why am I not running or pushing him away?

I swallow again, " Biology". It all came as a whisper.

" Me too. I could take you there if you want." He says staring between my eyes and lips.

I need to run right now.

" Trevor!" I hear Max's voice calling from behind me.

I turn around to look at him and he is with Mark. Approaching so fast. The moment I turn around to look at my stranger guy he is gone.

" Who was that?" Mark questions as he is next to me.

" I don't know his name yet but I bumped into him".

" We sensed you were in distress. We could hear your heartbeat from miles. What was he doing to you?" Max asks this time.

" Like I said I bumped into him". I reply a little harshly. " Don't you have a class or something?"

They look at me suspiciously. Like, I am hiding something. At which I am but I am not sure what happened myself.

" Yes, we do." Mark answers.

" We will meet you for lunch break". Max finishes and they walked away.

He is gone and I have no idea where the class is.

I start to walk to the direction of another hallway looking at the door numbers which will be the only thing that will take me to class. This school is a shitty maze. Taking another turn to the hallway I find the class but the teacher is already inside. ' late again'

I knock quietly and in seconds the door is opened. Another old guy without glasses this time.

" Your late." He states angrily. A grumpy one too. Perfect.

" I got lost". I say looking directly into his eyes. If he wants to hate me then this is his chance.

" Grab a seat". He says moving out of the way so I could get inside.

Walking in the aisles of desks I find one at the back next to the stranger guy. I decide to go and seat.

" I saved you a seat. I knew you will be late". He whispers into my ear.

" Thanks". I whisper back.

" Your welcome".

" Is something you want to share with us, Mr. Anderson?" The grumpy teacher asks making the whole class turn their heads to us.

" No" It's all he said.

" Good now pay attention". He continues with the class.

I really couldn't focus what he was saying because this guy beside me has being staring at me none stop. Which makes me uncomfortable. If he could just stop I would be glad.

Has if reading my mind he stops staring at me and he directs his eyes to the teacher. But not a minute has passed he takes my hand into his making my whole body tense up. I look at him to make sure that he is serious about what he is doing.

But Instead of his amber eyes, they are pitch black. Right he is fighting his wolf right now. Seeing that I just stared at him he shuts his eyes so hard when he opens them they are back to normal. It looks like am keeping him at bay. Mates thing, Great.

So I did the impossible. I interlocked our fingers together which I took him by surprise and even surprise myself. I just met the guy. I don't even know his first name. Like I said he is trying to make me question my sexuality preference right now.

We both turn to the teacher without saying anything just holding hands. The Old guy talked and talked about something that I don't think I can repeat even a single word cause I am miles away from this place right now.

After another thirty minutes of rambling the bell rings.

" You have to submit your work by the end of the week". I hear the teacher say.

What? work? I think to myself as everyone is leaving the class except us. By a minute the whole class is empty but just us.

" I'm Dylan by the way". He says taking his hand back.

" Trevor".

The silence is all over the place which is awkward by a hundred percent.

" Can we skip the rest of the day?" He asks looking straight into my eyes.

" I can't skip the first day at school. Plus my brothers will kill me cause I have to meet them for lunch". I say standing up.

He looks like he wants to say something but he is holding back.

" Dylan I know what you are. And what I am to you. Don't ask me how but please give me time. Because all this is new to me."

DYLAN'S P.O.V

This guy is full of surprises. First, he interlocks our fingers and now he knows about us. He is just a human and everyone in this school knows that. But his brothers are something else I don't know yet cause their scent is mixed with something else.

He is the most handsome guy ever. I like his eye color they make me want to stare at them all day long.

' Stop zoning out on him', Luke my wolf shouts at my head that he made me flinch a little.

" Are you okay?" I hear that beautiful voice of his that brings me back to reality.

" Can we be friends at least?" Its all I could come up with. If he wants time to process then we can know each other first.

" Absolutely". He smiles before he bits his lips again.

Please don't, I think to myself.

" Good, then we can start by going to lunch together". I suggest.

Without a second word, we start walking in the direction of the canteen. People kept staring at us. I know am supposed to tell the pack that he is my mate. I will tell them after I tell my brothers first and then the rest. Their reaction is much important than the rest of the pack.

" Do you want to come to sit with us", I invite him.

He looks at the direction that I pointed to. He thinks while looking at other tables. I guess he is looking for his brothers.

" I think I will stay with my brothers. Thanks for offering". He replies before he took off to his brothers leaving me standing alone in the middle of the canteen.

I walk to our normal lunch table meeting my own brothers.

" Who was that?" Alex asks right when I sit down.

" That is Trevor and he is a human and more". Jordan replies which we all turn to look at him.

"We had physics together", He says pointing at Chris and Nick.

Whom they did not say anything but they kept staring at Trevor's twin brothers.

" What's wrong with them?" I whisper to no one in particular.

" Ooh.....The two twins over there are their mates but they kinda started on the wrong foot". Avery answers this time as he waves in front of their faces.

Another pair of mates on the wrong foot. How amazing we are.

Let me introduce you to my family.

I have a brother his name is Damien he is the current alpha of our pack. But for so long now the pack has waited for an heir but he couldn't provide one because his mate died on one of the rouges attacks protecting me. Since then he never wanted anyone else.

Right now am being trained to take over the pack because he thinks that I will be a great leader and when I find my mate we will have an heir and continue the bloodline. The thing is that he doesn't know that my mate is a guy and also human.

After the death of his mate, he has sown to protect me at all costs. But one day during his hunts he comes across a kid who was hurt and left there to die. He knew that the boy was not a wolf but he couldn't let him die so he took him in. The boy is a warlock and his name is Jordan. We grew up together like brothers and the pack took a liking at him cause he is kind and adorable sometimes.

But he was not the only one who needed a family. Cause one day there was an attack on one of the other species clan which the whole clan was slaughtered not knowing by who and why leaving behind a little boy to defend for himself. Luckily my brother was there in time to save him. Also, he didn't care what he is so he took him in. But this one the pack had a hard time taking alike on him cause he is a vampire. Just like most people Vamps and wolfs don't see eye to eye but still he stayed with us. His name is Alex and he doesn't talk much. He likes to keep to himself.

Coming to this guy, he ran off from his family cause they were mean, abusive to him. So by the time when he couldn't take it anymore he took off. But during his takeoff, he ran into our pack unknowingly which he was met with the patrol guards. He was jailed for some time for trespassing and all but they had to let him go cause he was not a threat to anyone but just a lonely kid who needed a home and a family. So again my brother took him in.  His name is Avery and he is a dragon.

I think my brother just loved the company and distraction because we did provide that for years and he came back to his normal self and far from the pain of losing his mate.

Chris and Nick are twins from our current Beta. So they are my future beta and Gamma. When the time comes one of them will be a beta and the other a gamma. We don't know yet until they are tested. But whoever will get the gamma position will be our first gamma in centuries because our pack never had one.

Back to lunch.

" Are you okay?" Alex nudges me when he sees me quite cause I think I zoned out to everything that was currently happening.

" Yeah". I smile at him to prove my point.

" Heartbeats," He says to me.

Yap that is something we invented to ourselves. Because we are of different species we can't share a mind link. So we decided to learn each other's heartbeats so when a person is in trouble we could know. But we did not just stop there we learned when someone is angry, sad, happy, lying, stress because each and every emotion has got its own heartbeat. But for Jordan, it is different cause he doesn't have hearing abilities so he has to use his magic to know.

Right now I lied so he knows cause he is listening to my heartbeat which is rapid.

" Spill," He says leaning closer.

" I will tell you at home".

He just nods and continues with the conversation that was going on. It looks like the twins are back to reality.

I hope my brother will understand.

Because if he could be a wolf maybe he could provide an heir cause sometimes male wolves can get pregnant. Mostly they are white wolf-like my late brother's mate. My wolf is not white so it means I can not provide an heir and neither can he.

How will he react to all this?

How will the pack react to all of this?

I hope they will understand cause I'm not rejecting my mate. No matter what.
