Chapter twenty five

After so much contemplation I decided that I had to talk to somebody about this and that will be Henrietta. She should be of help in this situation. I will never forgive myself if this dream has something to do with Megan. If I had talked when I had the dream but it hasn't even been three days yet. Is that considered too late? No, I shook my head vehemently.

I stood up from my bed with a terrible headache but I still went about my morning routine but I made it quicker this time. I still have no wrist watch so telling the time is difficult for me. After putting in clothes I went downstairs to see if I would find Henrietta and I did.

“Good morning Rietta” I greeted. She raised her brows at me and asked with concern in her voice,

“Why do you look so tired? Did Lucian overwork you?” Henrietta asked. I nodded quickly, defending Lucian.

“No. I have some things going”

“Ok. If you want to talk about it_” Rietta started.

“I will call you,” I said and she smiled at me with a nod.

“I have a question though,” I said.

“What might that be?” She replied.

“Do you know what ‘Notre origine a apposé un cachet sur cette commande’ means?” I inquired. She looked lost then she answered me.

“I have no idea what that means Raina, where did you hear it?” She requested. Should I tell her?

“I don't remember “ I lied.

“I don't know but if you're desperate to know what it means you can ask Lucian or Lucy”

“Why?” I said curiously.

“Well, that sentence sounds like a spell and only Lucian or Lucy can help you if it's really a spell” She answered me.

“And why is Lucy in the equation?” I raised a question.

“Because Raina she is hybrid. Half wolf, half-witch. She once practised witchery” She explained.

“So I have to find Lucian and ask him?”

“You don't have to do that anymore. What are you girls talking about?” Lucian asked cutting us off our conversation.

“Nothing” I quickly added. Lucian had an unimpressed expression on his face.

“Doesn’t sound like nothing?” He said.

“I’ll leave you two to it Rain but I think you should talk to him about it,” Henrietta said leaving both is us alone to ‘talk’. I sighed.

“It’s nothing important” I said. He smiled

“I still want to hear it” He replied.

“Ok, if you insist” I started.

“I’m curious as to what this sentence mean, ‘Notre origine a apposé un cachet sur cette commande’ i don't know if I am saying it right”

“The language sounds familiar, I think French but that is a spell I can tell. We need to ask Lucy about it” Lucian explained.

“Do we really have to?” I asked.

“Yes, Lucy is a kind person Rain, maybe she's going through something right now. Give her time” Lucian added.

“And I have to suffer for that why?” I said.

“Yeah not very fair but you need her help so let's get it,” He said.

“Can you just ask her without me?” I continued.

“Don’t be so stubborn Rain” He frowns at me and I sigh.

“Fine. Where do I find her?”

“Follow me” He announced holding my hand. I followed him as we walked outside the pack house. We walked for two minutes before we got to where looked like a small garden. Lucy was seating down her leg wrapped around each other like she was doing yoga on the green grass. Her hands were up, above her head as she said some words incoherently.

“Lucy” Lucian called. She hurriedly stood up.

“Lucian! I almost got to him! I told you not to_” She stopped as soon as she saw me.

“What is she doing here?” She asked with a glare.

“Lucy. She's my mate and she can be here” Lucian said no pleased.

“I don't want her here” She continued.

“Don’t be ridiculous Lucy. I came here because Rain heard a spell and I think you need to hear it” He said ignoring her complaints. Something about that made me happy. I didn't want to be her enemy so I will try to get on her good side if she lets me.

“Let me here it” She said.

“I’m curious as to what this sentence means , ‘Notre origine a apposé un cachet sur cette commande’ i don't know if I am saying it right” I repeated.

“Of course you're not.Notre origine a apposé un cachet sur cette commande” She said and she actually sounded like she knew what she was saying unlike me.

“Where did you hear it” I hesitated to do it.

“I have to know” She yells at me

“If you must know. I had a dream about a girl named Olivia and me. Weirdly we were friends but I don't remember knowing her. We were on the play ground and she begged me not to beg her father for a chance to come over but I did. She came back days later and told me to forget about her saying these words right after” I explained.

“When did you have this dream?” Lucian asked shocked maybe because I did not tell.

“Two days after I got here” I answers.

“You should tell me about things like this next time, please. Anything at all okay?” He begs. I nod.

“This spell is usually used my powerful wishes asking their ancestors to power the spell” She explained.

“Thank you, Lucy, but is there a way I can reverse this. I really want to find the Olivia girl” I begged despite our differences.

“I’ll check” She answered. I smiled.

“Thank you!” I practically yelled.

“Are you not Olivia?” Lucian suddenly asks Lucy then he continued.

“Do you two know each other?” He asked again

“No” I answered.

“No” Lucy spat and walked away.
