Chapter 56

All the ladies had a hard time in sending Sameer home to get freshen up. With the continuous nagging from the ladies, he left sulking like a kid making everyone laugh at him.

After sometime, Piyu insisted her mother and bhabi also to leave as they had to pick up Arnav from Apoorva's mother's place and go home.

They left after talking to Piyu and Rads for sometime. Rads and Piyu talked about their families, work, about the fashion show and the trending new designs.

Within no time Sameer came back fully freshened up. He brought some chocolates with him for Piyu.

Three of them sat talking and eating chocolates.

" Umm...... Guys, I want to talk about something......" Rads trailed off looking nervously at Sameer.

At first she thought of telling this only to Piyu but again she couldn't hide anything from Sam anyways and moreover she needs his advise and consent.

" What?" Piyu asked curiously while Sameer raised his eyebrows at her.

It's not everytime they see Rads so nervous about something.

" Umm..... There is this guy......" Rads was cut off by Sameer.

" Guy? What guy? Which guy? Who is he?" Sam fired questions at her.

" Sammy let her speak." Piyu said.

" You know right, I will not let you be with a boy whom we doesn't even know." Sam asked her pointedly.

" Let her talk first." Piyu said to Sam sternly this time and he nodded his head sighing.

" Spill it." Piyu said.

" Ok, there is this guy whom I met last week in a fashion show. He wants us to get to know each other and asked me for a date." Rads said to them.

" No! Say him No." Sam said blankly.

Rads face fell as she thought she could move on from Rohan.

" Sammy!" Piyu warned him.

" You don't know Piyu how these guys from the fashion industry are, I don't want her to get hurt by some guy." Sameer said concerned.

" I understand but it's her life and it depends on what she wants not on what we want." Piyu exclaimed.

" But....."

" Guys, it's nothing serious...... It's just that I thought why not give a chance to him. He seemed nice enough to me." Rads said.

She brought up this matter before Sam because he knows about the guys and moreover she got hurt when she hid her feelings for Rohan from him. So she wanted him to know.

Their talk was disturbed by the Doctor who walked in. The doctor clearly ignored the presence of Sam and Rads which made them scowl at him.

" Sam but he is really nice. " Rads whined.

" No."

" Sam....."

"No."

" Please......"

"No."

" But....."

" No."

" Was he always like this?" Doctor asked looking at Piyu.

" Yes!"

Both Rads and Piyu said at the same time earning glares from Sam.

Doctor chuckled at them.

" What did you say to him?" Sam asked seriously.

" I said yes to him." Rads replied gulping.

" What? You said yes to him?" Sam shouted.

Piyu looked panicked at Rads because she thought Rads liked Rohan but now she said yes to go out with another guy while the Doctor started checking upon Piyu.

" Mr. Khanna this is hospital. So don't shout." Doctor said seriously.

" Ok, Ms. Jaiswal your check up is done and we need to do an X-ray of your arm once more before letting you go home." Doctor said smiling at her.

" Ok Doctor, thank you." She replied smiling.

" And you people, let her rest." Doctor glared at both Sam and Rads who rolled their eyes at him.

Doctor walked out while Sam and Piyu turned to Rads.

" Oh my God! I totally forgot that I have an important meeting. I will talk to you guys later." Saying this Rads stood up and walked towards the door.

" Rads!" Sam called her but she ran away.

" Atleast tell me his name!" Sam shouted but didn't get any reply.

All the while Piyu just stayed silent.

Sam turned around grumpily and sat back on his chair. He looked at Piyu who sat thinking deeply.

" Piyu are you okay?" Sam asked concerned.

" Yeah....." She sighed.

" What are you thinking?" He asked her.

" Nothing..... It's just that sometimes everything seems so simple but yet it's not." She said thoughtfully.

" What?" He looked confused.

" Life."

" You should rest Piyu, don't think too much." Sam said concerned.

" Don't you think we should talk? I mean after that day at the hotel we didn't have a proper conversation." Piyu said looking down.

Suddenly Sam was nervous and scared.

" Piyu, we can talk later. It's not the right time." Sam said.

" When will be the right time?" Piyu asked angrily.

" Piyu..... " He trailed off not knowing what to say.

" First you ignored me and then said that you stayed away because you didn't want to hurt me. But I want to know Sam. I want answers." Piyu raised her voice and Sam stood shocked.

" Why now Piyu?" He asked.

" We fought Sameer that day. We didn't talk for days. This accident happened and it was like we forgot about it for the time being but this pang in my heart always reminds me of what happened." Piyu said with tears.

" Piyu please don't cry. Let's talk later about this." Sam pleaded.

" Ok we will talk later and then what? We will be normal for some days and then you will again ignore me or something or the other thing will happen. This will continue to happen again and again until we sort out things between us." She says seriously.

" No Piyu I wasn't ignoring you. I just stayed away from you." Sam said frustrated.

" Why? " She yelled.

" Because of you." He yelled back.

" Me? What did I do? " She asks him.

" I should ask you that. Is there anything you didn't want me to know?" Sam asked angrily.

" What? No!" She exclaimed.

" There is something Piyu which you didn't tell me or didn't find necessary to tell me." Sam said with rage.

" What?" She asked trying to remember.

" You went to meet a guy for a marriage proposal." Sam stated clenching his jaw.

Piyu froze.

She totally forgot about that matter. Guilt consumed her looking at his hurt face.

" How do you know about that?" Piyu whispered.

" I was at the Cafe that day. I saw you with a guy and thought that you are busy with a  client until your brother told me that you are meeting a guy for a proposal." Sam said.

She was shocked.

He knows it from that day itself.

" And you didn't find necessary to tell me." Sam said with hurt which pained her.

" Sam it's not like that......" She tried to say.

" It's Ok Piyu, you don't need to explain anything to me. You and your family were okay to meet the guy and you looked happy too that day. That's why I stayed away. I was hurt and angry on myself. I didn't want to hurt you or say any hurtful things to you in anger. So I didn't contact you and didn't talk to you." Sam said.

All the while she just stared at him.

" I was trying to accept that you are getting ready to get married to someone else and I swear it was such a hard thing for me. And that day when I saw you in the hotel, I realized how much I hurted you in all this process and I am really sorry for that." He said sadly.

" But Sam..... " She tried to say but he cut her off.

" I know if AJ had thought that guy is good for you then he must be a good guy. I will be okay with it. I just don't want to hurt you anymore than I already did." He said and tears escaped from his eyes.

Her heart ached looking at him like that. He turned away from her and wiped his tears away.

She stood up from her place and went near him. She stood in front of him and lifted his chin to make him look at her.

Both of them looked at each other and their eyes conveyed the same message to each other.

Pain.

He turned away from her again but she will not leave this matter now.

" What is it to you?" She whispered.

" Huh?" He looked confused at her.

" If I went to meet a guy or getting ready to get married then what is it to you?" Piyu shouted.

Sam just stared at her in shock.

" I am a girl Sameer. I have to get married someday. So why did it made such a big difference to you?" She asked him angrily.

" When you saw me with another guy, why did it hurt you so much? "

" When you came to know about the proposal, why did it effect you so much that you had to stay away from me?" She gelled.

He looked at her with rage.

" Tell me Sameer, why did my marriage matter bothered you so much? "

" Why the hell it made so much  difference to you? "

" Why does it concern you? "

" Why does it effect you? "

She yelled out all her feelings burning inside her heart for many days.

" Of course it effects me..... Everything about you effects me." He yelled back at her.

Tears were burning in their eyes.

" Why?" She yelled.

She caught hold of his collar and asked him again and again

" Why?"

" Why?"

" WHY?"

" BECAUSE I LOVE YOU DAMMIT. "

He yelled loudly holding her hands which are gripping his shirt tightly.

She stood frozen there.

Tears were streaming down their eyes.

Piyu couldn't believe what she just heard. She stared at him to know if it's reality or a dream.

" What? " She asked him.

" I LOVE YOU PIYU. I FREAKING LOVE YOU SO MUCH." He yelled and removed her grip from his shirt.

He looked at her shocked face and turned away realizing that he confessed his feelings.

He looked back when he heard a thud.

And guess what happened.

She fainted.
