He didn’t know why Astrid suddenly brought this up, but he could clearly feel that her mood was off tonight But no matter what he asked afterwards, Astrid didn’t speak again. “We wont be apart. The heavens had taken her baby but had brought her Roman. Perhaps all of this was meant to be.

Astrid was feeling down and didn’t eat much at dinner, holding onto Roman the whole time.

After dinner, Elio helped bathe Roman, and Astrid took him to bed.
