It was 2:30 AM when a message popped up in Neil's phone...he moved towards his phone slowly making sure that Ayesha's sleep is not being disturbed as she was holding into his arm sleeping peacefully on his shoulders

'Sir we are here'

It was message from Sagar....Neil read it thinking something and kept back his phone on the table slowly

He looked at Ayesha sleeping safe and sound....he smiled but he seems a bit worried about something

He chuckled softly remembering her words

"I'm a night owl Mr. Malhotra , I can watch movies whole night you talk about yourself"

And here she is sleeping clutching into him

Picking her up carefully he tried not to wake her up otherwise this time she surely would cry....Ayesha wiggled a bit when he picked her but upon finding his warmth she relaxed again as if her subconscious mind has already accepted him and even in sleep she knows who is she close too

He carried her up to his room....placing her softly on the bed he covered her properly with the duvet....smiling he kissed her cheeks looking at her sleeping so peacefully.... switching off the lights and closing the door he went out

Moving out of the house he looked at Sagar and Joseph standing....they bowed together seeing him

"Sir as per as your order we have set everything up" , Joseph stated while Sagar showed him something on his phone

Neil smirked looking at the scene satisfied with what he saw

An another familiar car entered his premises which caught their attention..it was Nick

He came out casually yawning and stretching his back

Neil sighed looking at his dumb ass friend...they are here for something important and here he is so unbothered and chilled out...he looked at Neil annoyed with him to call and disturb his peaceful sleep

"I seriously don't understand can't we do this tomorrow in the morning why it has to be done now in the mid night...I was sleeping so peacefully but this brat aishhhhh....."

"Sir you spoked what I wish I could speak but I guess I ca....no no....nothing sir I am fine I can stay up all night"

It was Sagar who began to speak after hearing Nick complaining but one glare from Neil made him to shut up

"I know how much this kid is annoying but you don't have to be afraid of me take me as your friend and don't call me sir" , Nick said looking at Sagar and Sagar being the socializing monkey accepted his offer quickly

Neil looked at Joseph when he was already looking at him understanding well of his thoughts to kill both of them

Joseph nodded his head as if consoling him to let it go

"Anyway Malhotra where is he though" , Nick asked once he finished his chit chatting with Sagar

"Glad you asked...and he is here properly taken care off...with the perfect treatment my special guest should get" , Neil replied while the corner of his lips turned up

"What are we waiting for let's go and greet him" , Nick said walking ahead while Sagar looked up confused

Neil turned around to walk almost giving a heart attack to Sagar when he noticed a gun tucked in his pants behind

"S..sir you said you had something important business to do" , he muttered slowly...his eyes getting bigger every second

Neil turned to look at him , he nodded saying

"Yes I said that so"

"Are we on a survival mission or we are going to a battlefield...why are you carrying a gun with you sir" , he asked making Neil to finally understand

"It's not a battlefield but it can be survival mission but don't worry it's definitely not for us" , he winked looking at dumbfounded Sagar while Nick smirked understanding the meaning behind

Walking towards a dorm underground at the back of the mansion Sagar found everything like a movie scene where hero keeps his enemy at his mercy but little did he knew that he is going to be a part of the real movie world with Neil soon

Joseph was walking ahead of all leading the way while Neil was walking behind him folding his sleeves up followed by Nick and then Sagar , Joseph opened a door and stepped aside giving way to Neil

He entered followed up by the rest and at last Joseph who closed the door behind him

"Hello my friend"

Neil said entering inside to a man who was tied up on a chair with wires...his hands and legs tied together while his face held some cut marks with his head bleeding he looked like someone had badly beaten him up in a while

"Long time no see Edward remember your friend"

It was Nick who said moving towards him while there was one person in the room who was completely clueless about what's going on there and he was Sagar , he studied the room but nothing connected the dots of his queries

"Sir sorry to interrupt but who is he and who beat the shit out of this poor man" , Sagar asked raising his hand

Clicking his tongue Neil chuckled hearing him

"Poor man who him" , he said pointing towards Edward

"He is not a poor man my dear Sagar come on Edward introduce yourself"

Neil said walking towards him

"You'll pay for this Neil Malhotra" , Edward said angrily snarling his teeths together glaring Neil

Neil smirked looking at him

"Do you think it's time for you to say that...look at you..you are here at my mercy and I'll pay for all this it's you who'll pay me for every loss I faced just because of you...you must be thinking right when did I got the idea of you being the betrayer well you were a great friend to me Edward but remember the day...the day you asked for the pendrive of the undergoing project in which all the information were saved that was the day

"Still I almost took it from under your nose"

Neil clenched his jaws shooting daggers towards him and before anybody could react Neil punched him hard across his face

He growled in pain and anger shouting at Neil

"You scumbag how dare you hit...

An another punch landed on him before he could complete...Neil held his jaw tightly looking scary

"After betraying me you still have the audacity to speak in front of me Edward" , saying this Neil punched him again so hard that it caused a cut on his cheek

Edward chuckled darkly looking at Neil which only provoked him more

"Is catching me was enough for you poor little boy you got into my brait , do you know what I purposely went to your function so that Joseph or your bodyguard would notice me and then I'll pretend to run but actually I got caught on my choice do you know why or let it be surprise for you ahhh The Neil Malhotra, the king , the ultimate tch tch tchhhh you are still young for games" , Edward completed all the time looking at Neil

Nick looked serious understanding his each words on the other hand Neil looked Furious and red-faced with uncontrollable rage...Nick looked at him bothered about how will he react

The room filled with tension when Neil literally got out of control in his rage and furiously started hitting Edward even without giving an another thought...the room filled with Edward screaming and shouting due to pain , Neil stood in the middle of all the room , breathing heavily.

He curled his hand into a fist and aimed for the front of his nose , he hit the bridge of his nose causing it to bleed

Sagar was taken aback by this side of Neil who is this ruthless and scary

"You bastard I know you are not alone in this , who is with you this who is helping you tell me"

Neil shouted in pure rage holding him with his collar

Even after this Edward smirked as if challenging him

"I will destroy you" , was the only thing Edward said

Enough of the drama Neil pulled out his gun aiming directly at his forehead freaking out everyone

Nick ran and grabbed him back trying to calm him but Neil wasn't ready to leave...he knows that if he wouldn't hold back Neil he would surely kill him today

"Neil no think it cooly , you can't just kill him we still not know everything they are planning and we have only Edward calm down" , Nick said standing in front of him holding him back

"He is of no use to me Nick get aside", Neil said pushing him but Nick held him again saying

"Neil try to understand you can't just kill him we don't know who are involved with him they are planning something big don't react...understand"

"Kill me Neil kill me"

Edward shouted from behind drenched in his own blood

"Neeilll nooo"

Nick shouted when he pushed him and moved towards Edward furiously

"I know the type of bastard you are..you won't tell me about your shitty plans and your fuckers gang and I don't care about it get the fuck off"

And with this Neil pulled the trigger

"Neeilllllll"

"Sirrrrrrr"

Nick and Sagar shouted out in fear but their breathe came back when they saw Edward still alive

He shot his arm

Edward cried in pain

Blood splattered on the ground freaking the hell out of Sagar

Joseph and Nick seemed to be calm...it is nothing new for them they deal with Neil and his mood everyday

Though many bruises and cuts on Neil's hand as well Neil threw the gun towards Joseph once catching his breathe back Neil straightened himself and strode outside

Nick went towards wincing Edward and straightening himself he said

"You still have time Edward otherwise you just saw how short tempered my friend really is"

Saying this he looked at Joseph while he nodded understanding the meaning behind to bring the doctor and treat him

Nick turned back to move out when he noticed Sagar standing still in shock , he went towards him and took him out chuckling

Coming out they saw frustrated Neil scratching the back of his neck still angry with the things happened

"How is this possible , how can he plan all this... that bastard I didn't even realised he acted well"

Neil said in frustration when he noticed Nick

"Neil its bigger than we are thinking right now but don't worry relax we will sort it out" , Nick said walking towards him

"Edward is not so easy to deal with"

Nick said again he looked at his friend still not calmed down

"Neil go and wash your hand it's dipped in blood and apply some ointment on the bruises

Take some rest don't worry we'll handle it out too"

Neil nodded still trying to calm down his nerves

"Ok then we'll get going and also I need this kid to know why was he here afterall"

Nick chuckled saying and looking at Sagar who was still trying to figure out everything

Sagar looked up on his mention rubbing his hands over his hairs

"Ahhh whatever it was it was fire I guess he deserved that"

Sagar said already thrilled with the scenes

"Neil sir are you a mafia...aah I mean you are fire"

"Ok we'll see you tomorrow Neil at 10"

Nick said ready to go but he turned back remembering something

"Oh yeah I almost forgot I and Adwik booked our tickets for the amusement park for tomorrow"

Nick informed making him remember about his own plan he planned for Ayesha

"Amusement park"

Sagar looked at Nick and Neil asking while Nick nodded happily

"These business related issues are our daily cup of tea...ah no I don't drink it ok so it's our daily cup of coffee yeah this sounds good so keeping all these issues and stress aside we should have fun guyss"

Nick exclaimed already looking excited about the plan

"Sir this is not done how can you not take me after all I am your PA"

Sagar winced looking at Neil while he looked at him sighing

"You aren't my girlfriend that I should take you with me.... you'll be at Empire"

Neil said making him pout

Nick chuckled and clutching Sagar into his grip he laughed saying

"He is joking you are too joining us ahh I can't wait it's gonna be fun"

Sagar was overjoyed hearing it and he shouted happily

"Sirrrrrr I knew it you won't do this to me....I love you sir"

He dramatically said wiping his not so visible tears going towards Neil to hug him but Neil backed out making faces

"Sagar if you not want me to tear your ticket then stand straight"

Neil said the way bossy he is....but Nick being Nick he can't be serious as him...he jumped on Neil's back making him tremble

"Aahhh Nick"

Neil shouted pushing him with his elbow as his hands were dirty while Nick was just having his good time teasing his friend

Finally Neil entered inside his house after literally throwing Nick and Sagar out from his penthouse

He sighed upon their thoughts

"All the crazy heads are in my life"

He said when he noticed his bloody hands....he closed the door with his feet before moving inside

"Bastard"

He said looking at his hand remembering Edward

"Neeillll"

It was Ayesha's voice....Neil looked up panicking but before he could understand anything he just saw Ayesha walking down the stairs with fast steps...she almost stumbled , walking towards him she just threw her arms around him hugging him tightly

Neil was too shocked to understand anything , but he could something wrong

He almost forgot about his anger and all the other things he was dealing with seeing her panicking and being afraid of something he doesn't know

She was literally shivering and was completely covered in sweat

"W..where were y..you"

Her voice shivered too

She pushed her more into his chest trying to hide....she clutched his shirt tightly at his back

Neil was not understanding a single thing but the only thing he just wanted now was to comfort her but he just can't hug her back because of the blood on his hand

"Honeybun what's wrong"

He just asked slowly but Ayesha didn't replied she just stood into his arms closing her eyes

"Did you had a nightmare"

He asked her softly predicting the cause he felt her breathe stopped for a second when he mentioned about nightmare making him clear about this

"Did you had a nightmare"

He asked her again...Ayesha nodded timidly

"It's ok Honeybun you don't need to be afraid I'm here with you" , Neil replied tilting his head and keeping it over her

"Where were you" , she asked him again still hugging him

"Aa..umm I...I just went out for walk"

"At this time"

"I wasn't really able to sleep so I just thought to have a walk"

He lied because he obviously can't let her know where he was

"Now tell me why were you running on stairs you might have hurt

yourself"

Neil said as a matter of fact about her safety....he almost freaked out looking at her

"I....I had a bad dream d..due to which I ab..abruptly wo..woked up...t..the room was dark , and I can't stand darkness , I got more scared I even.. even tried calling you but you didn't picked it up scaring me more"

Ayesha said explaining him her situation while Neil closed his fist in annoyance for forgetting his phone

He felt bad for not being with her when she needed him

"I.. I'm sorry Honeybun I shouldn't have left you alone"

Neil said kissing her hairs

Ayesha calmed down in his presence she felt better now

Nightmares is what she is facing from a long time and that's the reason she hate darkness , closed rooms and staying alone they all make her feel helpless

Neil kept on saying sweet soothing words which made her feel at ease....she relaxed listening to him and his heartbeat

Once finding herself and her breathe back she realised Neil not hugging her back , she frowned thinking it and looked up at him still holding into his shirt

"Why aren't you hugging me back" , she asked him straight to the point while Neil avoided eye contact with her

She found it strange and stepped back a bit inspite of Neil trying to stop her

She looked at his hand covered in blood making an unknown fear to strike her

She looked at him with questioning fearful eyes with Neil still avoiding her eyes

Her heart sank thinking of his pain she held his forehand with her trembling hands

"N....Neil what , how did it happened and you are still standing here without telling me aren't you feeling pain"

She asked him in half anger and half concern...she suddenly felt bad as she was so into her problems that she didn't noticed his

Neil noticed her blinking her eyes rapidly , he had always noticed when she is trying to hold back her tears she does it and it was the only reason he didn't want her to know about it but it's of no use know

"Neil w...how it's looking...

"Honeybun relax it's nothing"

"What relax aren't you looking at it's condition"

"It's not as deep as you are thinking and it's looking it's just a small cut nothing more...it's just covered with blood all over , the wound isn't that big"

"Don't you dare lie to me"

Ayesha said raising her voice...she further pulled him with her to the washroom to wash it while Neil looked and chuckled at her raising her voice at him....ahmm it's new , he let her do whatever she want while he enjoyed her special attention he was getting while on the other hand Ayesha was anxious

"Look I told you before it's not a big cut it's just a small cut and you are just getting freaked out time to time"

Neil said once he washed his hands...he didn't let Ayesha to touch his hands even though she insisted because it's her who don't know about the truth behind it but he knows and he can't let her touch the blood of a bastard

Ayesha took his hands examining it carefully she sighed in relief toon finding the cut not so deep but just a scratch

"It's just a small cut" , she said looking at his hand

"Told you before" , Neil replied her back

"But then how was your hand covered completely in blood even when you aren't injured"

Ayesha asked him confusingly

Moving his left hand on the back of his neck he started thinking of an excuse to escape this but as if his mind had stopped working nothing was coming into his mind

"Neil I am asking you"

"Ac..actually when I went for a walk Joseph called me when I got to know that one of my bodyguard has been injured so I just went to the dorm behind the penthouse to visit him and about this cut ahh actually the man who got injured was due to glasses and I got this cut because I carelessly kept my hand on it"

Neil made up whatever he could nervously wanting Ayesha to believe him

"And here you scold me for being careless"

Ayesha said shaking her head while Neil sighed in relief clearing the mission

"That's Because I am careless 1 out of 10 times and you are careless 9 out of 10 times"

Neil said chuckling while Ayesha glared him

She seriously can't with me

"Even though it's not too big still we need to apply something on it"

And saying this she again dragged him out making him to sit on the sofa while she sat beside him with the first aid box

"First it was me and then it's you are we really going to just apply medicine on each's other wounds"

Ayesha sighed applying ointment on Neil's hands concentrating

"Why do you want to do something else" , Neil said huskily moving close to her

Ayesha looked up at his sudden change in voice....he kept away the cream from her hand once she was done applying it all the way looking at her

He leaned in making her breathe hitched

Neil approached more close to her and with just an inch apart Ayesha stood up surprising him

She got shy all of the sudden....this man can literally chance anything to romance

She glared him which he found hot

"Ok good night I'm sleepy now"

"Will you be ok"

Neil asked concerned about her , Ayesha nodded briefly

He wants to ask her about her nightmares he wants to know about what is troubling her but he stopped himself from asking it now

He didn't want her to get anxious again it's enough for a day , her comfort is what matters more than anything and he knows that if he would bring this topic up now she'll get uncomfortable which he clearly don't want

"If not and if anything bothers you then I am just beside your room ok just call me" , Neil said standing up while Ayesha blinked her eyes

Moving upstairs Neil let her go first and stood there untill she was comfortable

Moving out he just smiled at himself thinking about her reaction when she'll know about tomorrow's surprise

Feeling excited and happy about tomorrow he slept peacefully switching off the light
