Wen Ran immediately laughed, “If you can joke, it means you’re truly okay. Thank god, if you hadn’t woken up, we all would have been worried sick.”

“You can survive a fall from a cliff with a bomb, so there’s no reason I can’t. Don’t worry, I’m fine.”

Qin Mu didn’t want to burden her with any concern. He intentionally joked about it.

Wen Ran glanced at the porridge in Mother Qin’s hands and smiled, “You go ahead and eat. I’ll come see you later.”

Qin Mu turned his gaze to Mother Qin, their eyes meeting.

She then broke the silence, “Ranran, Ah Mu just ate some porridge. He just woke up and can’t eat too much. You two talk, Uncle Qin is waiting for me at home.”

Just Gu Kai and Wen Ran were left in the ward with Qin Mu.

“Ranran, sit here.”

Gu Kai pulled out a chair for Wen Ran to sit on, and he sat on the edge of the bed.

“Qin Mu, thank you for saving me that day.”

Wen Ran thanked Qin Mu with a smile, her voice sincere, her gentle eyes looking at him.

Wen Ran pursed her lips, “That’s true. Fu Jingyi also saved me, but so did you.”

“How did I?”

Qin Mu looked at her jokingly, determined to play dumb.

From the moment she entered the ward till now, they had been deliberately avoiding some people and events.

Hearing this, Qin Mu’s eyes changed significantly. He frowned lightly, “Are you able to be discharged?”

Wen Ran responded with a smile, “Yes, I am perfectly fine now. If you hadn’t been unconscious and if my brother hadn’t stopped me, I would’ve already been discharged. Qin Mu, take care and recover well.”

A hint of sadness flashed across Qin Mu’s eyes.

When he looked up, his expression was still gentle, “Are you leaving for G City right after being discharged? Gu Kai, after returning to G City, have her undergo a complete examination again. After all, she jumped off a cliff.”
