Chapter 731: 730 if you are not willing

A fleeting surprise flickered in Wen Ran’s gaze.

Qin Mu just smiled at her without speaking.

He ate the rest of the plum in one bite. Despite the obvious sourness, he endured it.

Bai Xiaoxiao was clueless. Thinking Qin Mu truly liked plums, she said, “Ranran, since Qin Mu likes plums, let him eat. You brought back so many plums, if no one helps, when will you finish them? Gu Kai, aren’t you eating?”

She picked two and handed them to Qin Mu and Gu Kai.

Gu Kai was shaking his head, “I’m not interested in this. I’ll stick to the peach. By the way, when you guys came back, where is Ah Feng? Didn’t he come with you?”

Seeing Gu Kai in his white coat, Wen Ran feared if he was still on duty.

Gu Kai tugged lightly at his white coat, he raised his brow, “We can leave at any time. Give a call to Wen Jin as well.”

“Sure.”

Wen Ran assented and dialed Wen Jin.

Wen Jin had a dinner appointment in the evening. Hearing that she’s back, he immediately said he’d cancel his appointment and join them for dinner.

“Brother, Is Sister Ting on duty? Shall we invite her as well?”

After the call, Wen Ran asked Gu Kai.

“She’s on duty, but Jiang Liu picks her up and drops her daily.”

Gu Kai then turned to Qin Mu, who was still in his hospital gown. “Qin Mu, aren’t you going to change?”

Qin Mu’s eyes glinted, “No rush. Changing only takes a minute.”

With Wen Ran and Bai Xiaoxiao still in the ward, how could he change? He shot a sidelong glance at Gu Kai.

Wen Ran peered over at Qin Mu, then pulled Bai Xiaoxiao to her feet. “Xiaoxiao, accompany me downstairs to find Sister Ting. Brother, Qin Mu, hurry up and come down. We’ll be waiting for you.”

Bai Xiaoxiao had been daydreaming and was startled when Wen Ran suddenly pulled her to her feet. She gave a dazed nod and let Wen Ran lead her out of the ward.
