When Gu Kai opened the door and saw Wen Ran with red and swollen eyes at the doorway, he immediately frowned.

When Wen Ran appeared in Bai Xiaoxiao’s office, Bai Xiaoxiao was buried in her computer, working diligently.

She only said “Come in” when she heard the knock on the door. She only looked up when the door opened.

“Ranran, why are you back?”

Wen Ran smiled at her brightly. “I missed you, so I came back.”

“Ranran, didn’t you say that you’re busy this week? By the way, I heard from Zhou Lin that she went to City C to look for you, is that true?”

Bai Xiaoxiao asked curiously. She had met Zhou Lin that day and heard from her.

“D Country?”
