I Love You Miss Genius ( Bonnie Shepard ) CHAPTER 212
I Love You, Miss Genius
Chapter 212
âBah!â Hamish disdained the thought and grew increasingly worried. âShould I send someone to
look for him?
âWait a minute.â Bonnie looked at her phone and saw someone was calling her. She checked it and
saw that it was Benedict.
âBennyâs calling me now.â Then, she answered his call but heard a strangerâs voice instead of her
brotherâs.
âAre you Benedictâs sister?â The stranger sounded ominous. Things were looking grim for her
brother.
âWho are you? Why do you have my brotherâs phone? Where is he?â
âDo you have to ask? Iâm a kidnapper, of course! I have your brother. Weâll slaughter him if you call the police. You guys will never see each other again if you do anything stupid.â The strangerâs voice was vicious and threatening.
Bonnieâs eyes grew cold as she said, âI will hunt you down if anything happens to my brother. Iâll even venture to the ends of the earth to track you down and make you regret messing with me and my brother.â
She opened her laptop as she spoke and typed away at the keyboard, trying to hone in on her brotherâs location through the phoneâs GPS.
âBold of you to threaten us when we have your brotherâs life in our hands. Weâre the kidnappers, and we have nothing to fear from you. Prepare a million dollars and come to the designated location now.
âIf you keep us waiting, Iâll throw your brother into the ocean. Of course, you must come alone. Weâll be watching. If you bring anyone else, youâll suffer the consequences.â
Bonnie typed away at her keyboard at lightning speed, saying, âLet me hear his voice. I need to know if heâs alive.â
âI told you to prepare a million dollars. Whatâs with the demands?â

âItâd be pointless if I did all that, and heâs already dead. I wonât waste my time on a pointless cause.
âHow dare you talk back to me?! Just cut the crap and get to it. Iâm warning you. If you-
Bonnie coldly interjected, âI wonât repeat myself. I want to hear my brotherâs voice, or Iâm hanging
up.â
She gave the kidnapper a hard time, but not because she did not care about Benedict. Instead, it was because she knew it was no ordinary kidnapping. She grew confident of it because of the kidnapperâs
tone.
Bonnie used to help the police department make breakthroughs in many convoluted cases. So, she

knew what she was doing.

The kidnapper was sitting on a chair as he glanced at Flynn and said, âShe wants to hear Benedictâs voice, Mr. Flynn. Otherwise, she wonât believe us.â
âSheâs just despicable!â Flynn gritted his teeth and snarled. âDo it.â
âAll right, Mr. Flynn.â The kidnapper ripped off the tape on Benedictâs mouth.
âDonât come, Bonnie! Itâs a trap! Donât-âBefore he could finish, the kidnapper kicked him to the floor and resealed his mouth with another tape.
âMmph⦠Mmphâ¦â Benedictâs eyes reddened. He kept struggling to break free, but the kidnapper had tied him up too tightly.
Bonnie could hear everything clearly over the phone. They were beating up Benedict. A moment later, a deadly air of malice rose around her. She was enraged. Simultaneously, she honed in on their location and muttered, âIâll be there in no time.â
She hung up the phone and called Jim at once.
