I Love You Miss Genius ( Bonnie Shepard ) CHAPTER 226
I Love You, Miss Genius
Chapter 226
The lobby managerâs servile attitude puzzled everyone.
Daken and Avril exchanged glances. They knew Bonnie had an extraordinary relationship with Hamish and Tang Fusion Studios. However, they did not understand her relationship with Jade
Horizon Hotel.
Considering the lobby managerâs demeanor, he seemed to hold Bonnie in high regard.
Although Bonnie received strange glances from the crowd, she did not bother explaining herself. Instead, she said, âWe arrived first. Who do you think the private room should go to?â
âYou, of course. Please, the private room is this way, miss.â The manager realized he had inadvertently offended Bonnie earlier. Now, he bent over backward to please her.
Meanwhile, Dermotâs expression darkened as he stopped the manager, saying, âRobert, shouldnât you give me the private room instead?â
The manager knew Bonnie and Dermotâs family were at odds, so his attitude toward Dermot turned sour. âMr. Dermot, youâre a prominent figure. How could you stoop so low and try claiming someone
elseâs room?
âI mustâve been blind to be so friendly toward you before. From today onward, I want no further dealings with you.â
Dermot trembled. âRobert, whatâs gotten into you?â
âThatâs enough, Mr. Dermot. Please take care,â the manager said indifferently.
Dermotâs expression turned grim. He wanted to leave with his family, but he would feel even more
embarrassed if he did.
âWhat, heâs just a lobby manager, isnât he? How dare he speak to you like that, Dad. How he spoke would make others think his family owned Jade Horizon Hotel,â Brittany said despite herself.
Dermot relaxed when he heard that.
âYeah, heâs just a lobby manager, and I own a publicly listed company.â Itâs all about showing respect if I can be on good terms with the hotel owner.â
âRobert has overstepped his boundaries!â Dermot decided to get close to the hotelâs higherâups and make the lobby manager regret his actions.
Ultimately, Bonnie did not go to the private room because they felt the spacious ambiance was better in the lobby. As Bonnie and the others took their seats, Dermot and Brittany took theirs. Coincidentally, there were only these two neighboring tables remaining in the lobby.
âWhat a mood killer.â Avril felt annoyed seeing Brittanyâs family.
Brittany glared at Avril and the others.
âIâve had it with them.â Avril wanted to roll up her sleeves.

âDonât mind them. Letâs focus on our meal and let them focus on theirs.â Bonnie handed the menu to Daken, who appreciated Bonnie more and more.
âBonnie knows how to respect her elders. Sheâs nothing like the rumors state. Sheâs impeccable in my

eyes. I thought my daughter was sensible, but Bonnieâs even more so. She considers things more thoroughly, and sheâs talented.â
âHey, Bonnie, I need to ask you something.â Avril poked Bonnieâs arm, looking curious. âHow do you know the lobby manager?â
Daken was just as curious. While pretending to read through the menu, he listened intently to
Bonnieâs answer.
