I Love You Miss Genius ( Bonnie Shepard ) CHAPTER 255
I Love You, Miss Genius
Chapter 255
Bonnie became mistyâeyed when she heard Ivorâs words.
On the other hand, Rowena wept. âThat hurt, Ivor. Weâve known each other since childhood. How could you choose someone youâve only known for several months over r me?â
âWhat of it?â Ivor responded briefly.
Bonnie glanced at the weeping Rowena and pitied her. Even so, the former knew what kind of person Rowena was. Any pity would be a waste on Rowena.
âItâs all Bonnieâs fault! Iâll make her pay for this! She will return you to me!â
Suddenly, Bonnie revealed herself and said, âReturn him to you? You donât know your worth, Rowena. He has never belonged to you. Youâre just bullshitting.â
Her words resembled salt in Rowenaâs wounds. Bonnie then approached Ivor and stood beside him, the couple looking like a perfect match. Rowena could no longer take it and ran away, bawling.
Meanwhile, Ivor grew worried that Bonnie might misunderstand the situation. He hastily explained, âShe kept bugging me and wouldnât let me leave. I rejected her approach repeatedly, but she clung to me.â
âYeah, I can tell,â Bonnie responded. Then, she noticed Ivor staring at her. She asked, Why are you looking at me like that?â
Ivor frowned. âYou donât look even a little jealous.â
Bonnie realized he was dissatisfied because she was not jealous of Rowena.
âJeez, heâd get upset and jealous if any guy gets close to me. Now, heâs also upset that Iâm not jealous of the ladies who get close to him.â
âGosh, youâre such a hopeless romantic, Ivor.â
He smiled charmingly and pointed at himself, saying, âIâm only a hopeless romantic for you. No one else can bring out that side of me.â
Bonnie did not have a good comeback for that. She opened the car door and sat in the passenger seat before saying, âCome on, letâs go home. I have a busy day tomorrow.â
Ivor got into the car and asked curiously, âYou donât have school tomorrow. Why would
Chapter 255
you say you have a busy day?â
He realized she would always leave the villa and not return until late at night. He had always been curious about it, wondering what Bonnie was doing outside all day. Still, he respected her privacy and did not send his men to follow her.
Bonnie squinted, saying, âI need to visit the Shepardsâ house.â
Ivor was about to drive off but stopped when he noticed what Bonnie said. He asked, â Why would you do that? Do the Shepards have more bones to pick with you?â
He heard about the commotion when Bonnie went there to gather her belongings. That was why he was worried when she said she had to visit the Shepards.
âNot exactly.â Bonnie was not about to tell Ivor that she would be treating Harold. If she did, she would expose her identity as a miracle doctor.
On the other hand, Ivor was perceptive. From her response, he noticed she did not plan to tell him everything. He asked, âHow about I send one of my men to accompany you? Hey, I can send Tim with you. Youâre close with him, arenât you?â
âNâNot him! Iâll go back there alone.â Bonnie knew Jim would insist on following her if he ever knew about it.
Ivor squinted and said, âFine, but I want you to call me if you encounter any issues.
âOf course.â
The following morning, Ivor called Jim over. Meanwhile, Floyd pursed his lips when he saw Jim. The former had to remind himself that no one could know about Timâs real identity. No one could learn that Tim was Jim.
