I Love You Miss Genius ( Bonnie Shepard ) CHAPTER 264
I Love You, Miss Genius
Chapter 264
Trinaâs eyes widened in terror. âWhâwhat are you doing?!â
Bonnie glared at her menacingly and said, âI told you last time. If youâre going to accuse
me of having a sugar daddy, you better have evidence to back it up. Otherwise, youâll regret it.â
Trina felt an impending danger. She gulped in fear before screaming and fleeing. However, Bonnie grabbed her collar and yanked her back, causing her to fly and slam into a cupboard.
âTrina!â Vera darted after her daughter worriedly. âAre you okay, sweetie?â
Trina cried, âIâIâm okay, Mom. Donât blame Bonnie for this. I was wrong to expose wrongdoings in front of everyone.â
her
Vera was outraged. She turned and screamed at Bonnie, âDid you hear that?! You hurt Trina, yet she still defends you! So what if youâre the miracle doctor? Your talents donât matter much if youâre wicked and nasty. Even if the family wants you back, Iâll never reconcile with you.â
âExactly!â Gresham glared at Bonnie. âShe spoke my mind. Iâll never reconcile with you till the end of time!â
Initially, Harold and Yolanda wanted to use Bonnieâs skills for the familyâs benefit. However, what happened just now suggested it was no longer possible.
Gresham and Veraâs claims made the older couple reconsider retaining someone as nasty as Bonnie. After all, she could be of more trouble than her worth.
Harold said coldly, âI pitied you and allowed you to rejoin the family because the Shepard blood courses through your veins. Now, youâve created a disaster. Iâll kick you out, you troublemaker. Good riddance.â
Bonnie glared at him and responded, âI wanted to leave, but you got in my way. Why do you insist on complicating things for yourself?â
âHow annoying!â
The Shepards glared daggers at her as she left. When Bonnie exited the house, she saw Jim waiting for her. She asked, âWhy are you here?â
âWhy else? Mr. Ivor was worried about you.
Chapter 264
âAre you mocking me?â
âI wouldnât dare.â Jim smiled and glanced at the Shepardsâ house grimly. âI heard fighting going on inside.â
Bonnie then told him everything that had just happened inside. âThatâs about it. Those idiots considered their bodyguards elites. As far as Iâm concerned, they werenât even a fun challenge.â
âIâm aware of that. Thatâs one of the reasons I didnât barge in to help.â
Bonnie stared into Jimâs eyes and asked, âAm I right to say you wanted to barge in there earlier?â
Jim chuckled, saying, âYour intelligence is extraordinary, Bonita. Nothing escapes you. Yes, I wanted to help but stopped because this is the Shepardsâ house.â.
Bonnie was grateful that he put himself in her shoes and considered what she needed instead of what he needed to do. Although he was a manâs man, he was exceptionally thoughtful and cautious regarding Bonnie.
She said, âYou donât have to respect those fools anymore. You can barge in and teach them a lesson for all I care. I have nothing to do with them, after all.â
Jim nodded. âRoger that.â
Floyd entered the Knight Groupâs CEOâs office with a stack of documents and approached Ivor. However, he realized his boss was still looking at the same document from hours ago. âYouâve been staring at that for over an hour, Mr. Ivor. Is something wrong?â âI was distracted with my thoughts.â Ivor frowned.
