I Love You Miss Genius ( Bonnie Shepard ) CHAPTER 340
I Love You, Miss Genius
Chapter 340
Jordynn instantly felt better and was no longer doubtful. Indeed, Bonnie was adept in medical knowledge. Even so, the former asked, âArenât you a computer science student? How do you know this stuff?â
âCanât a lady have a hobby?â Bonnie spoke the truth.
Judging by her expression, Jordynn knew she was telling the truth. She asked, âAre you usually this good with all your hobbies?â
âYou think Iâm good at this? I think Iâm way worse at medical knowledge than my main job.â
âYour main job?â Soon after, Jordynn knew what Bonnie meant. âAre you talking about computer science?â
Before Bonnie could answer, Jordynn formulated a theory, saying, âI guess that makes sense. After all, you hacked into Pyralis Universityâs security to reclaim that footage. Not even the professors couldâve
done that.
âThat reminds me. Since youâre already outstanding in computer science, whyâd you sign up for the
course?â
âThatâs because my computer skills are the worst among my other skills.â
âHaha, youâre pretty cocky.â As far as Jordynn knew, Bonnie was bluffing. However, the former could not bring herself to hate Bonnie. After all, an occasional bluff from someone as skillful as Bonnie was not a
problem.
âBonnie, I take back everything I said about you before.â
âHuh?â Bonnie looked at Jordynn in a daze.
âI used to say you donât deserve Ivor.â
I
âOh, thatâs what youâre talking about. Donât worry about it. I didnât let it bother me.â
âReally?â Jordynn had never met anyone so understanding. If someone gave her a cheque and started
insulting her, she would not have forgiven that person.
Bonnie chuckled and said, âYouâre not the first one to humiliate and look down or ne. Iâm a country bumpkin who weaseled her way into a wealthy family. A bunch of people despise me for that. How would I live if I had to settle the score with those people?â
Although she sounded casual, Jordynn could not help but feel sorry for her. Simultaneously, the latter felt guilty. âYouâre my kind of gal. Fine, youâre now one of my best friends. Just holler if you need help with anything. I can ensure the Shepards never pester you again.â
âThanks, but that wonât be necessary. Iâve ended things between me and them. Iâll have my life, and theyâll
have theirs.â
Those words reminded Jordynn about the latest video Gresham posted on Twitter.
âCool, I guess itâs better that way. Honestly, parents are the ones who can be genuinely selfless to their

kids. We can make the most outrageous mistakes, yet they forgive us. At mont, theyâd lecture us
âWith that in mind, you did nothing wrong. Although you grew up in the countryside, you didnât have a choice. I canât believe the Shepards underestimated and disowned you for being a country girl. Youâre far better off without them. Donât rejoin them, even if theyâre wealthy
âGot it.â Bonnie responded briefly and helped Jordynn up
The latter said, âMy familyâs having a dinner party tomorrow. Would you like to join us?â
Indeed, it was a troubling situation for Bonnie.
âOh, Iâm an idiot!â Jordynn smacked her forehead. âSebastian invited Ivor to the party, so Iâm sure heâll bring you alongâ
Things just got much worse for me.â
The following night, Bonnie changed into a gown and went downstairs. Ivor was overly excited as he admired the splendid young lady before him, saying, âYou look spectacular in everything, Bonnie.â
However, she was in no mood to entertain him. She was still thinking about how to get through the party without blowing her cover.
âMâlady.â Ivor opened the car door for Bonnie and entered after her. He then took his phone and said, âI should call Dr. Fanelli first to see if heâs on the way.â
Bonnie instinctively squeezed her phone when she heard that.
