I Love You Miss Genius ( Bonnie Shepard ) CHAPTER 363
I Love You, Miss Genius
Chapter 363
âBut that doesnât necessarily mean sheâs tough, right? Maybe she just wasnât bold enough. to fight back.â
Bonnie raised a brow and said, âJust give Nancy a chance. Youâll find out just what she made of. Sheâll prove she has what it takes to assume the female lead role and become your characterâs partner.â
Orpheus could only shrug and say, âI guess I just canât see it yet.
âAll right, that wraps it up! I want chicken pot pie and tuna casserole for tonightâs dinner.â
That night, Bonnie and Orpheus went to Lenfield Resort together. The latter said, âThis is my first time visiting your place. This place lives up to its name. Itâs nothing to laugh about, not even in comparison to the Knightsâ house.
âYour villa is the best around, Bonnie. You have the best view, too.â Orpheus looked around the place, wideâeyed.
He was still admiring the place when Bonnie grew slightly annoyed, saying, âAre you going to keep ogling over the place? Maybe we should forget about dinner if thatâs what it takes to please you.â
âHey, donât do that! Itâs been a long time since I tasted your cooking. You have no idea how often Iâve stopped myself from drooling today. I couldnât stop thinking about your cooking
even while we were on the set.â
âAttaboy!â Bonnie nodded.
âCome one, letâs go inside. Iâll be your sous chef.
Bonnie said smilingly, âSure, that sounds good.
When she finished mushroom soup, Orpheus said, âLet me take that to the dining table.â
âAre you sure? Itâs still scorching,â Bonnie cautioned.
âBonwick, are you worried about me?â
âIâm just worried youâll spill my soup.
Suddenly, Orpheus exclaimed, âOuch! Thatâs hot!â
Clang!
When the pot fell, some scalding soup spilled onto Orpheusâs shirt.

âQuick, remove your shirt!â Bonnie yelled before running over to help.
At that moment, a spineâchilling voice echoed, âWhat are you two doing?â
The duo stopped as Ivor approached. He looked so angry that he could punch even Orpheus, his uncle. Orpheusâs eyes widened, and he struggled to find his voice. Soon after, Orpheus stammered, â1âIvor, donât do anything rash! Youâre misunderstanding the whole thing!
However, his words did not work. Ivor was already close, and Orpheus could see his nephewâs fists. âCome on, Ivor! Iâm your uncle. Are you seriously going to punch me again? Fine, donât say I didnât warn you! Iâll tell your father if you hit me again!â
Bonnie stood before Orpheus and shielded him.
Ivorâs expression turned grim as he asked, âAre you protecting him?â
Bonnieâs lips twitched despite herself. She asked, âWhatâs that supposed to mean? Orpheus wasnât trying to do anything to me.â
âI saw you removing his shirt, Bonnie. Youâre the one making a move on him. I have pride as a man and wonât let him off so quickly. I donât care if Orpheus is my uncle!â Ivor said through gritted teeth.
Orpheus retorted, âAre you serious? Then, why would you want to punch me if sheâs removing my shirt?â
âShut up!â Bonnie and Ivor barked simultaneously.
Orpheus was astounded, thinking, âIâm the older one here, but they treat me like Iâm their child! I deserve more respect, damn it.â
