I Love You Miss Genius ( Bonnie Shepard ) CHAPTER 364
I Love You, Miss Genius
Chapter 364
Houmte looked away from Orpheus and gazed into Ivorâs eyes, saying, âPlease control yourself and not get jealous. Stop jumping to conclusions. Although youâre a good man, my patience has limits, and I can no longer stand your jealousy,â
Her minor compliment lifted Ivorâs spirits significantly. He said, âI donât think you can blame me for that, Bonnte. Wouldnât you be mad if ladies are constantly around me?â
âWhy would I get mad? That just means youâre handsome and charming. Also, you donât sleep around,â Bonnie squinted at him and added, âItâs unlike you to suspect me for no reason.â
After some thought, Ivor looked at Bonnie and Orpheus several times. Soon after, he saw the spillage on Orpheusâs clothes and the mess on the floor. Being the sharpâwitted guy he was, Ivor put the puzzle together and realized what had happened.
âIâm sorry, Bonnie!â Ivor held his fianceeâs shoulders and looked at her intently. âI shouldnât have suspected you of cheating on me. I promise I wonât let jealousy get the better of me again.â
Orpheusâs lips twitched as he asked, âDo you even believe what you just said?â
Ivor turned and glared at his uncle, silently promising to deal with him if he did not shut up. Orpheus felt a shiver down his spine. He glanced at the spilled mushroom soup and said, â Iâll clean up this mess. Damn it, thereâs goes my soup.â
Orpheus picked up a mushroom slice as he spoke.
Bonnie noticed it and asked, âAre you seriously going to eat that?â
âUh, come on, Bonwick. Give me some credit, will you? Hygiene is my middle name.â Although he said that, he felt the urge to eat the mushroom.
Half an hour later, the dishes were served on the dining table. Orpheus gobbled almost everything. He was still enjoying himself when Ivor asked him to leave, âItâs getting late, Orpheus. You should finish your dinner and go home.
âItâs almost midnight, and Iâm sure youâre tired from work. You should leave now and get
some rest.
Orpheus smiled bitterly, saying, âGee, thanks for the concern.â
Meanwhile, Ivor scooped a spoonful of tuna casserole and put it on Bonnieâs plate. âHere, have some more.â

Orpheus lost his appetite at that moment. He Intended to get back at his nephew by telling him about Bonnieâs guest appearance as his exâwife in the television drama, âHey, I have something interesting to tell you, Ivor. Honwick visited the film set just now, and the director offered her
Bonnie suddenly kicked Orpheusâs shin.
âOuch! Thâthat hurt!â He even hopped up from his chair.
Bonnie shrugged at him as if telling him he had it coming.
âHe mustâve forgotten about the earlier mess. Ivar
got jealous and almost punched him. How did it slip his mind already? If Ivor finds out Iâm acting as Orpheusâs exâwife, he might do something worse than punch his uncle.â
Orpheus looked at Bonnie and understood her gaze.
âSheâs right. I almost fucked up.â
Ivor squinted at the duo before looking at his uncle and asking, âWhat did the director offer Bonnie?â
Orpheus cleared his throat, adjusted his seat, and continued to eat. He said, âHe offered her a role, but she turned it down.â
He told a halfâtruth, and Ivor, adept at seeing through lies, did not suspect a thing. Even so, Ivor had a hunch there was more to it than that.
