I Love You Miss Genius ( Bonnie Shepard ) CHAPTER 386
I Love You, Miss Genius
Chapter 386
That wonât be necessary. We got some good footage.â
Orpheus was stunned when he heard what the director said.
âAâAre you just going to use what you shot earlier? BâBut, thatâs not me, though! I know my character wears a mask, but we have different eyes! My avid fans can tell that itâs not me!â
âItâll be fine. Iâll try not to use a closeâup. If I do, weâll do some postâprocessing work to Photoshop your face in there.â The director loved what he shot earlier.
âWill it work?â His lips twitched a little.

The director glanced at Bonnie while Orpheus looked at him. Then, the director whispered, âDo you your nephew will let you pin his fiancee to the ground? For Heavenâs sake, he kidnapped you before the shooting even started.
âIf you did that in the scene, do you think heâll
let you walk off the film set in one piece?â
He couldnât help but feel pain all over his body at what the director said. Turning around, he realized Ivor was shooting him a cold glance. He trembled all over immediately.
Fine. It
âFine. It looks like Iâm going to have to let it go.â
The director rubbed his chin thoughtfully and said, âPerhaps we should let your nephew take on the male lead role. We can modify the script and say the female lead looks like Freya. That way, Bonnie could keep
acting.
âIâm such a genius! Itâll take a lot of rewriting, but I think I can pull it off. After all, I have Jane by my side!â
Orpheusâs lips twitched more crazily the more the director talked.
âIâm fine with it, but theyâve officially announced Iâll be the main lead. Do you think my billions of fans
would accept it?â
The director sighed and said, âWhat a shame. I wanted them to play the roles.â
Orpheus was utterly pissed off. âWhatâs the meaning of this, director?â
Looking embarrassed, the director didnât respond to him. Walking over to Ivor, he asked, âWhat line of work are you in? Are you interested in trying your hands on the entertainment industry?â
Before Ivor could respond, the director heard Xavierâs voice from behind him.
âTo what do I owe the pleasure, Ivor? What are you, someone so high and mighty, doing here at my film
sey?â
Ivor looked at him blankly. âI didnât want to be here, but my fianceeâs here.â
âAs far as I could gather, Bonnie is no longer engaged to you. So, calling her your fiancee might not be all

that appropriate.â Xavier smiled nonchalantly.

Ivor responded with an equally calm face, âMy fiancee didnât complain about it. Youâre just an outsider. Who are you to pass judgment on my private affair?â
âYouâre right. After all, Bonnie didnât seem to be bothered by it. I am just an outsider. I shouldâve minded my own business. Now that youâre here, why donât I do what every good host would do and buy your
dinner?â
Ivor was about to reject his offer, but Bonnie agreed.
âSure thing.â
âWhy did you agree to it?â Ivor was a little displeased. Bonnie and Xavier were getting a little too close for
his taste.
Xavier looked exceptionally stunning. It was just that he has rather dark characters.
Flashing a smile at Ivor, she said, âArenât you competitors? You should jump on the offer if he wants to buy dinner. Order all the expensive food and drinks. That way, you can chip away at his finances. Whatâs more, you can annoy him.â
âYou make a fine point. Iâm lucky to have such a sharpâwitted fiancee.â
âI told you Iâm not your fiancee.â
Xavier, who was walking in front of them, wouldâve stopped in his tracks if he hadnât forced himself to
keep walking.
kin away at
âIâm fine if both of them are conspiring to my finances, but they couldâve talked about it when Iâm not around. Look at them. Theyâre not even trying to keep their voices down. They donât care if I can
hear them.â
âCount me in!â Orpheus took off after them. âIâll lend a hand in chipping away at the Sheffyn familyâs
finances.â
He turned around and looked at the director and the others. âStop filming, guys. The rain is getting heavier, anyway. Come on. Weâll all go together. Mr. Xavierâs buying us dinner.â
Xavier couldnât hold it back anymore. Stopping in his tracks, he turned around, looked at Orpheus, and
hinted at him.
âAm I the one buying dinner, or will you pay for all of this?â
However, Orpheus acted as if he didnât notice it and continued asking others to join them.
