‘I’m just an ordinary university student. Why would the president of Pyralis University be looking for me?”

“What are you waiting for?” The school counselor cried out when she realized that Natalee was frozen to the spot.

“C–Coming.” Natalee came back to her senses and followed the school counselor. She mocked Bonnie when she brushed past her. “You’ve counted to three, but I’m still a student here. You’ve achieved nothing. but embarrass yourself.

“Here’s some free advice for you, Bonnie. Stop pretending as if you’re some big shot around here. Karma’s going to bite you in the butt eventually. How shameful!”

“Why, you…” Avril had just taken a step after her when Bonnie held her back. “She has gotten on my nerves! Let me go, Bonnie. I can’t stand her anymore!”

Bonnie watched as Natalee left. She pondered briefly before slowly saying, “I think I know why she’s

summoned to the president’s office.”

“Huh?” Avril was very curious about it.

Bonnie gave it to her straight. “He did it for me.”

“Say what now?”

Avril was confused by her answer.

“If I didn’t know what she’s capable of, I would’ve thought she was making a bland joke.”

However, she stared at Bonnie for a long time and realized the latter was wearing a severe expression. Slowly but surely, it dawned on her, and her jaw dropped further by the second.

“Rumor has it that our university president has found someone to take over his position. A–Are you that the person he’s talking about?”

Bonnie got a headache the moment Natalee brought this up.

“Russell is such a pain in the butt. I’ve repeatedly turned him down, but he insists I take over his position. The research institute had taken up a lot of my time. I can’t oversee Pyralis University, too.”

Avril took a sharp breath. At that moment, she had no words to describe her feelings.

On the other side, Natalee had just arrived at the president’s office when she realized the president was looking at her sternly.

She felt a chill down her spine.

‘Did I break the university rules? Let’s assume that I did, but does it warrant the president himself to deal with me? There are so many students in this university. How’s he supposed to do it if he has to handle every student issue?‘

Russell gestured at her, and she took it and read it.
