I Love You Miss Genius ( Bonnie Shepard ) CHAPTER 395
I Love You, Miss Genius
Chapter 395
Dominick couldnât wait any longer and dashed out of the coffee shop.
Sydney and Gunnar swapped glances before they took off after them. âDonât go over there, Dominick. Sh
sheâs Bonniel
Hmm?â Dominick stopped, turned around, and looked at the married couple. âDo you guys know her?â
âSheâs a goodâforânothing who got disowned by the Shepards.â
âSo, sheâs the infamous Bonnie!â Dominick was mildly surprised. Then, his eyes were filled with.
admiration as he glanced at the young lady.
âEveryone keeps saying sheâs a goodâforânothing, but she got into Pyralis University and won the Best Scholar Award. If my family had one such goodâforânothing, then my ancestors wouldâve smiled upon us
from heaven.
âSave your breath, guys. Sheâs immensely talented, beautiful, and a powerful fighter. This is the chance of a lifetime! The universe mustâve taken pity on us, Shermans, and granted us a gift in the shape of a
perfect lady.â
He had made up his mind. He would dote on his daughterâinâlaw if she married into his family.
Realizing that Dominick walked away again, Gunnar pulled his arm again. âYouâve got to listen to me, Dominick. Not only was she disowned by the Shepards, but she was also Ivorâs fiancé.â
âWhat?!â That shocked Dominick to his core. Turning around, he looked at Gunnar with widened eyes. â1âIs
she the fiancé Sigmund found for Ivor?â
âThatâs right.â
âOh, so thatâs how it is. That settles it, then.â Dominick patted his chest gratefully. Wasnât their engagement supposed to last for a month? Itâs been way longer than that now. Moreover, it was called
off. So, itâll be fine.â
âThe engagement has been called off, but Ivor fell in love with her and doted on her very much.â
Now, this got Dominick rooted to the spot.
âIsnât it true that your nephew isnât very interested in ladies? Rumor has it that he was actually into dudes. What made him change his mind?â
âThatâs something weâre dying to know, too.â
Dominick was stunned for a couple of seconds before he rested his gaze on Bonnie, who had walked far away from him before he glanced at Flynn.
âEh? A little birdie also told me that your son was kicked out of Pyralis because of her. Shouldnât he hate her guts? But why does he walk behind her, acting like he was her henchman?â
He had just said it when he saw Bonnie reaching out and knocking Flynn in the head. Then, the latter
chuckled, looking as happy as ever.
The sight of it had all three of them stunned.
âIâIs that your son? Isnât he quite cocky most of the time?â Dominick thought he no longer knew who Flynn.
was.
He wasnât clone because even Gunnar and Sydney thought the same thing.
âI donât think thatâs our son. Letâs just leave.â
Bonnie was having dinner in the hotel when she heard a commotion at the entrance.
âOpen your
eyes and look at this fine establishment. This is a fiveâstar hotel. How do you figure itâs okay to beg for money at a place like this?
âEw. Your clothes are downright filthy. Get the heck out of here! Youâre scaring our customers away. I will have you kicked out if you do not cooperate!â The security guard looked at the beggar fiercely and roared.
The boy was six years old. Holding out a cracked bowl, the boy looked pitiful and said, âPlease, sir. Show some kindness. My grandpaâs heavily ill, and heâs about to die.
âAll he wants is to have some nice food before he moves on to a better place. Thatâs why Iâm here. I beg you. Iâll take whatever leftover you have.â
âI said, get the heck out of here. Do you hear me?!â The security guard shoved the young boy hard. The boy staggered and fell to the ground.
âWhat do you think youâre doing?!â Bonnie angrily dashed to the entrance and helped the boy up.
âAre you okay? Did he hurt you?â
Raising his arm, he noticed it was scraped on the ground. There was some blood seeping out from the
wound, too.
Bonnieâs face grew grim. Shooting the security guard with a cold, brutal glare, she said, âHeâs just a kid. Itâs bad enough that you lack any sort of sympathy and refuse to give him some food, but you made it worse by shoving him so savagely.
âI take it backâa lack of sympathy isnât your issue. You downright lack what makes us human.â
The security guard was embarrassed. âIâItâs part of the job description. I have no choice but to oblige it.
âJob description? Alright. Tell me, then. Does your hotel have a rule saying you must shove a kid?â She was gripped with an intense rage.
