I Love You Miss Genius ( Bonnie Shepard ) CHAPTER 424
I Love You, Miss Genius
Chapter 424
Natalee was so pissed off that her chest was rising and falling rapidly. Her eyes were filled with burning fury when she looked at Frankie.
The lecture hall was so quiet that they could hear a pin drop.
Frankie was covering his face as his jaws dropped. He was startled by her reaction. âIâIâm doing this for you, Natalee! She was so mean to you. On top of that, she almost got you expelled from the university. Donât you want to get back at her after what she did to you?â
âWho told you have to do anything for me? Also, why would I want to get back at Bonnie? I was the one who started a fight with her and got myself into the mess. So, how is that her fault? If anything, itâs my fault. Sheâs just a victim of my unreasonable behaviors.
âOn top of that, I wouldâve wasted my time at the university if Bonnie hadnât said what she said and given me a wakeâup call. You might just see her as my classmate, but I think of her as one of the most important people in my life. I owe her a big deal!â
The next moment, she bowed to Bonnie in front of everybody to show her gratitude. Everyone was stunned by the sight. Even Avril, who knew the unbridled truth about Nataleeâs incident, was so shocked by what she saw that she was at a loss for words.
Natalee averted her gaze and looked at Frankie. She said coldly, âStop messing around if you know whatâs good for you. I donât want anything to do with you in the future.â
With that, she brushed past him, walked to the seat behind Bonnie, and started reading a
book
His face still felt searing from where Natalee slapped him. He also realized everyone was giving him dirty, mocking looks and their judgmental mutterings. In the blink of an eye, his resentment for Bonnie skyrocketed.
âThis is all Bonnieâs fault! Sheâs the reason Iâm humiliated this way. I donât care what Natalee said. Iâm going to make her pay!â
Bonnie ignored his hateful glares and was about to continue reading her book, but Russellâs
assistant called her.
âThis is bad, Bonnie! Mr. Russell had fallen ill. Heâs in the hospital and said he needs to see you now!â
She frowned and said, âAlright. Iâm on my way
now!â
Just as she hung up the phone, the bell from the clock tower rang, indicating the

commencement of classes.
Professor Reece had just entered the class when he saw Bonnie, who was walking out of the
Frankie seized the opportunity and yelled, âLook at her, Professor Reece. She doesnât respect the class at all. She left without asking you so much. She downright disrespects your authority!â
Everyone at Pyralis University knew that Reece was extremely strict and hated tardy students. He didnât care who the student was, too. Status and powers meant nothing to him.
That was also why none of his students had ever been tardy or played games with him.
Youâre in for it now, Bonnie!â
âHold it, Bonnie!â Reeceâs face turned red from anger. âGo back to your seat now! Otherwise, Iâm going to flunk you for this subject.â
Turning around, she explained to the professor, âThe university president is ill. He wanted to see me.â
âPfft⦠Hahaha!â Frankie held his belly and laughed. âDid you hear her, everyone? What monsense is she saying? Did she just say the university president had fallen ill and wanted to see her immediately?
âWho does she think she is? Do you fancy yourself the presidentâs granddaughter?â
âNot really. Iâm justâ¦.â
âListen to yourself! You just admitted that youâre not the university presidentâs granddaughter. Then, why would he ask for you if heâs ill?
âCome on. You couldâve devised a better excuse if you wanted to skip the class. Do you think Professor Reece is an idiot, or are you playing him for a fiddle because you think youâre brilliant?â He continued, trying to complicate the situation further.
Bonnie grew impatient. She needed to get to Russell as soon as possible. So, her tone turned cold when she spoke.
