I Love You Miss Genius ( Bonnie Shepard ) CHAPTER 56
I Love You, Miss Genius
Chapter 56
âIs it true you won the Best Scholar Award?â
That was fast.
âYep.â Bonnie replied.
âCongratulations.â
âThank you.â
âIs there anything you want to eat? Letâs celebrate tonight. Itâll be my treat.â
âMom and Dad are celebrating with me tonight, so I wonât be going back to your place.â Ivor raised
his brow at that.
Ged said, âYour agreement was for a month, and itâs been well over half a month. You need to drag this out for as long as you can! Tell Bonnie she has to extend your agreement by a day if she goes back to her place tonight.â
âWould that be okay?â Ivorâs eyes were as dark as night.
âWhatâs wrong with that? Are you embarrassed? Come on! Youâre trying to win your future wifeâs heart. Who cares about your pride?â Ivor was already composing a text as Ged was in the middle of his speech.
He leaned over and smiled at what he saw. Ivor had sent Bonnie a text that read, âOur agreement was for a month. Youâre taking a day out of it to go back to your place. Because of that, we need to extend the agreement by ten more days. Iâm sorry, but itâs Grandpaâs orders.â
In the evening, Bonnieâs group chat was flooded with texts.
âAm I dreaming? Bonnie really got into Pyralis University! Do you guys know she got the Best Scholar Award too? She got the perfect score!â
âDamn straight. Sheâs shattering my worldview. Isnât she just a nobody? Didnât she always get last place in the entire school?â
âAnyway, what about the betâ¦?â
âCan you please not talk about that? That was just a joke. Bonnie wouldnât take it seriously.â
At that moment, Bonnie, who had never said anything in the group, sent a text.
âIâm dead serious about the bet.â
For a moment, the group chat was silent.
Bonnieâs lips curled into a mischievous smile and she typed, âDid you really think I was going to let it slide just because I didnât say anything? Let me remind you, it was you who suggested shaving your heads. We even recorded a video about this.â

It was pointless to keep cowering in fear. Since Sacha was the class head, she took the lead and texted, âJust let this go, Bonnie. Weâre all classmates, and anyway, none of us took it seriously.â
Just like that, everyone else went along with her.
âYeah! Donât be so petty, Bonnie. It was just a joke among classmates. Youâre the only one who took it so seriously.â
âWe wouldnât have brought it up if you had lost the bet.â
âSeconded.â
Bonnie smirked. âNone of you took it seriously? You all spread the word about this, Iâm sure you did it because you wanted to stop me from going back on my word when I lost the bet.
âLook at the way you talked to me. Do you think Iâm some kind of fool? The fact is, Iâm the one who won the Best Scholar Award. Iâm definitely smarter than all of you, so donât bother playing the victim. I see right through you.
Everyone was alarmed. They could think of nothing to say to her!
âSave your breath and start shaving your heads. Iâll release the video to the public if you donât honor the bet. I wonât stop at the internet either. Iâll send a copy to your future colleges and workplaces as
well.â
