I Love You Miss Genius ( Bonnie Shepard ) CHAPTER 57
I Love You, Miss Genius
Chapter 57
Everyone was in a fullâon panie now. They started another group chat without Bonnie,
âWhat are we going to do? If Bonnie really does what she says, we wonât be able to show our faces anywhere.â
âWhy is she being so mean?â
âBonnieâs exactly the type of mean girl youâd never want to meet.â
The abrupt silence from the group chat told Bonnie everything she needed to know. She was sure the others were having a discussion in a new group chat.
It was all but certain they were insulting her behind her back, but she wasnât bothered. She wasnât about to go easy on them, either. After all, she was no saint. They had brought this upon themselves.
In the end, everyone in the new group asked Sacha for help.
âDwayneâs your boyfriend, Sacha. Ask him if he can help us out.â
âAgreed.â
âSeconded.â
That was what Sacha was thinking too. She called Dwayne. âI need a favor, honeyâ¦â
The next day, Bonnie went to the place Sacha had told her to go, but Dwayne was there instead of
Sacha.
âWhat are you doing here?â Bonnie frowned. Dwayne was acting all gentlemanly. He gave her the
menu and asked, âSee anything you like? Go ahead and order whatever you want. Itâs my treat.â
She didnât even bother looking at the menu. âDid Sacha ask you to settle our dispute?â
âWhat a smart girl!â Dwayne gave her a thumbs up. âThe Best Scholar in the city, I see! I used to think you were just a pretty girl. Imagine my surprise when you got the perfect score and got yourself into Pyralis University.
âSacha keeps telling me you cheated your way to the Best Scholar Award. Sheâs a silly girl. Thereâs no way that happened.â
Bonnie frowned and said, âArenât you here on Sachaâs behalf? Whatâs going on?â
âYouâre a smart girl. I think you know what I mean.â Dwayne scanned her figure lecherously.
She noticed and stared at him menacingly. âSo, you still want me?â
He clapped twice and said, âSee? Youâre smart. Itâs not hard to talk to you at all, not like Sacha. Sheâs so foolish. She might have obeyed all my whims and wishes, but it felt too easy at times.
âThereâs no sense of achievement in conquering her. Iâve had enough time to be tired of her. You, on
the other hand, are different. Youâre smart, and youâre the Best Scholar in the city. Your family background is better than Sachaâs too.

My parents would be much happier if I married you. Weâll talk about marriage after you meet them in two days. After all, Iâm not getting any younger. As for school, I guess you can continue to study. But youâll have to leave school for a while when youâre pregnant.
My parents are kind of hard to deal with. Theyâre not exactly healthy, too, so Iâll expect you to back off if thereâs any conflict in the future. Theyâll be your inâlaws, after all.â
âHeh.â Bonnie sneered.
âWhat are you smirking at?
âYour shamelessness amuses me! Do you even look in the mirror before you walk out the door? I feel
so gross just sitting across the table looking at your perverted mug. How dare you make a list of demands? Youâre disgusting!â
With that, she rose without a second thought and started to leave. Dwayne got up immediately and stopped her.
âThereâs no need to get so worked up about this. My demands arenât that outrageous. After all, the Moss family is much wealthier than the Shepard family. Youâll be marrying into a better family.
He took out a bank card. âThereâs a million dollars in this. Itâs yours if you agree to marry me.
She took the bank card without so much as a pause and threw it at Dwayneâs face.
âOw!â The card cut his face.

She sneered as she looked at him. âYouâre not even fit to lick my boots. Get out of here, you gross pig.â
Dwayne burst into rage and started threatening her. âFuck you. You were lucky I had my eye on you. Iâm warning you, Bonnie. Donât be so ungrateful! Iâll give you one last chance. Come to me and give me a kiss. Otherwise, Iâllâ¦â
Bonnie turned and left before he had finished talking.
âDamn it! How dare you embarrass me!â
