I Love You Miss Genius ( Bonnie Shepard ) CHAPTER 81
I Love You, Miss Genius
Chapter 81
âGo ahead.â Ivorâs eyes were halfâopen.
âHereâs the thing. We were going to grab something to eat earlier whenâ¦â Floyd told his master every single detail of what happened earlier.
âAre you saying Tim used the Soaring Cannon on the hitmen? And itâs one of Master Jimâs signature moves?â
Floyd nodded furiously. âTo be honest, Iâve never seen anyone use the Soaring Cannon so proficiently in all my years of combat experience. I know Jim says heâs very skilled in combat, and that might explain it, but I canât shake the feeling that somethingâs just not right.â
âWhat are you thinking?â In fact, Ivor had noticed that something seemed amiss with Tim.
Floydâs brow knitted. âI think heâs connected to Master Jim.â
âI thought you were going to tell me that Master Jim had disguised himself as Tim.â
âNow that you mention it, I did think he might be Master Jim when I first saw him using the Soaring Cannon. But I thought about it and decided it wasnât possible. Master Jim is Ms. Bonitaâs top
bodyguard. Thereâs no way it could be him.â
Ivor nodded. âThatâs a good analysis. But Tim is justâ¦â He paused and said, âInvestigate him thoroughly.â
âYou speak my mind, Mr. Ivor.â
âRemember. Do it discreetly. Make sure he doesnât find out about this.â
âUnderstood, Mr. Ivor. Leave it to me.â
In the next room, Bonnie and Jim faced each other.
âYou used the Soaring Cannon right in front of Floyd?â Bonnie frowned and asked.
He nodded. âIt was a dangerous situation. I reacted instinctively.â
âAs far as I know, heâs a loyal fan of yours. Wasnât he suspicious at all?â
âHe was, but I explained that I might just have a knack for this particular move.â
âDid he believe you?â
Jim frowned. âI think so.â
Bonnie rubbed her chin and said, âFloyd might seem like he doesnât care, but think about it. Would Ivor let some gullible fool work for him? Heâs probably Ivorâs most trusted servant too.â
âAre you saying that he was suspicious of me, but just chose to say nothing about it?â
âItâs very possible,â Bonnie said. âIf my assumptions are correct, Floyd would have told Ivor

everything by now. Heâs a smart guy. Itâs highly likely that he gave Floyd the order to quietly investigate you.
âAnyway, how did you get your alias as Tim Reid? Is it easily traceable?â
2/2
âThereâs no need to worry about that, Ms. Bonnie. The guys who did it for me did a meticulous job. Floyd wonât be able to trace it back to me.â Jim patted his chest confidently.
âI wouldnât worry if it were any other guy, but Ivor is something elseâ¦â Bonnie looked at the room next to hers and saw Ivorâs wise and elegant face in her mind.
âHeâs smart, and he has the means to put it to good use.â
Do you think Ivor is capable of finding out some kind of clue about me?â
âCorrect.â She turned to look at Jim. âDonât worry, though. Iâm going to ask someone for help.â
Jim asked curiously, âWho are you going to call, Ms. Bonnie? Who could keep my identity from Ivor?â
âIâm going to contact someone from the SR League.â She responded.
Jimâs eyes widened. âYou know the top brass of the SR League?!â
The SR League was a powerful globally recognized taskforce. It accepted and distributed missions to all kinds of agents around the globe. Their mission completion rate was unbelievably high.
