After Fang JunRong had delivered the fruits, she was about to take off. Her bodyguards flanked her to her left and right and the three of them caught a lot of attention. Fang JunRong had long since gotten used to that kind of attention. She was in no hurry to leave the school but took the opportunity to tour the campus. Zhong Yi’s university was not as big as Li XinYun’s but it had a better view.

The cherry tree forest nearby was a particularly popular locations for the young couples.

This was cherry blossom season and they fluttered in the wind. It was a very touching scene with their pedals raining down. Fang JunRong couldn’t help but stopped and appreciated them for a little while.

She heard someone crying for help.

She was just about to go and check it out when someone spoke next to her. “You wait here. We will go and check it out.”

She turned and saw two very plain-looking men. They were the kind with no special characteristics at all and would be drowned out in a crowd.

She was startled. Where did these two men come from?

Watching the two walked inside of the forest, Jian Shao, one of her bodyguards, said to her in a low voice, “Boss, I think those two have military background.” He could at least tell that much. And they also looked like they were in the unusual business.

Jian Shao might not be the best on the day-to-day’s but he had astute observation professionally.

She nodded and seemingly pondering over something.

Ten minutes later, the two men came out with a few others under their control. With the exception of one girl, the other four were stocky men. All of them looking very vicious and definitely not someone one would want to cross. All of them were handcuffed and there was something shoved inside of their mouth. A few of them had bruises on their faces and noses and were limping. Obviously, they had a roughed time when they ran into the other two men.

The dark skinned one made a call and then said to Fang JunRong, “We think they were trying to ambush you.” He paused for a little, then added, “The higher up wanted us to stay around and protect you. Your safety is important to us.”

Fang JunRong frowned and immediately thought about kidnapping and blackmailing, etc. Obviously, they were trying to lure her over and ambush them. They hadn’t expected that she had more protection than the ones in the open.

Who could have sent these men? Zhang Bi or Zhang ZhiYang?

She glanced over at them and didn’t concern herself too much with it. From the looks of it, these two had their ways to make them talk.

Zhang ZhiYang and Zhang SiDe paced back and forth in the house. The two of them could not have looked any more worried.

Suddenly Zhang ZhiYang’s cellphone rang. He looked happy after he had answered the call. “We got her!” It had gone much smoother than expected. They should have went this route a long time ago.

All of the gloominess from a while back was gone and everybody looked pleased.

A group of them driven over to one of Zhang ZhiYang’s property, the agreed upon location to meet.

Except that, the minute that they walked inside, they were surrounded and with a snapping sound, they were all handcuffed.

Fang JunRong received a gift before she left the country.

Opening up the contract, she saw the title transfer of a shopping mall over 200,000 m2 in size plus two houses.

Zhang ZhiSu said casually, “These are thank you gifts.” It would not have gone so smoothly without Fang JunRong’s help.

Fang JunRong did a rough estimation and they were worth around 5 billion yuan.

She did not accept them right away but asked, “What’s happening to Zhang ZhiYang and the others?” She went home afterward and didn’t really follow up on it.

“They were involved in trying to steal country secrets. I’d say they will be spending a few years in jail.”

Zhang ZhiSu had no intention in helping them out. They needed to have a lesson taught to them. He wouldn’t want the few side branches to get a big head and thought they were invincible in the world and take things further and further. After Zhang ZhiYang and Zhang SiDe were arrested, some of the other members of the Zhang family there were not involved had reached out to him and asked to rejoin the family. They were willing to give up most of their possession to the clan.

Zhang ZhiSu finally agreed to take them back. He had, after all, already achieved his purpose of knocking them down some. Besides, it would be easier for him to exert control over them with them where he could see them. He had made a pact with Fang JunRong to give her a part of Zhang ZhiYang’s assets as a reward. What he had offered her today would fulfill that promise.

Understanding what was going on, Fang JunRong accepted the documents. “Okay. Thank you then.”

Her daughter’s birthday was coming up and she could give her a part of these as a gift.
