JOONG POV
-:Joong paced back and forth in the hallway, his mind racing with the task Pond had given him. He didn't want to betray Phuwin, but Pond's anger was palpable, and Joong knew better than to cross him when he was in one of his moods. Joong took a deep breath and decided to go through with the plan, hoping he could somehow protect Phuwin from whatever Pond had in mind.
as fourth lead him to phuwin. as usual, surrounded by canvases and sketches. Phuwin's concentration was intense, his brush moving gracefully across the canvas. Joong hesitated for a moment, feeling a pang of guilt, but he reminded himself of his loyalty to Pond.
"Phuwin," Joong called out, trying to sound casual. "Can I talk to you for a second?"
Phuwin looked up, surprised to see Joong. "Sure, what's up?"
Joong shuffled his feet, trying to come up with a believable story. "There's something weird going on in the old building next door. I think it might be worth checking out. You know, for inspiration or something."
Phuwin raised an eyebrow. "The old building? Isn't that place supposed to be off-limits?"
"Yeah, but I thought you might find it interesting. You always find beauty in the strangest places," Joong said, forcing a smile.
Phuwin sighed and set his brush down. "Alright, I'll take a look. But if I get in trouble, you're taking the fall."
Joong chuckled nervously. "Deal."
The two of them made their way to the old building, its facade crumbling and covered in vines. The place looked eerie, but Phuwin's curiosity was piqued. As they entered, the air grew colder, and the sound of their footsteps echoed through the empty halls.
Joong led Phuwin to a dimly lit room, his heart pounding with anxiety. "This is the place," Joong said, glancing around nervously.
Phuwin looked around, puzzled. "What exactly am I supposed to be seeing here?"
Before Joong could answer, the door slammed shut behind them. Phuwin turned around, eyes wide with shock. "Joong, what the hell?"
"I'm sorry, Phuwin," Joong muttered, stepping back. "I didn't have a choice."
From the shadows, Pond emerged, a cold smile on his face. "Welcome, Phuwin."
Phuwin's eyes narrowed. "Pond, what is this? Some kind of sick joke?"
Pond's smile faded, replaced by a look of pure malice. "No joke, Phuwin. Just payback."
Phuwin squared his shoulders, refusing to show fear. "For what? What did I ever do to you that was so terrible?"
Pond took a step closer, his voice low and dangerous. "You know damn well what you did"
Phuwin glared at him, his anger rising. "This all time it was you fault every time"
Pond hissed. "Now, you're going to pay for everything."
Joong watched helplessly as Pond advanced on Phuwin, his heart aching with regret. He wanted to stop Pond, to protect Phuwin, but fear kept him rooted to the spot.
Phuwin stood his ground, his eyes locked on Pond's. "Do your worst, Pond. I'm not afraid of you."
Pond's eyes flashed with anger, and he lunged at Phuwin. But as he did, a sudden sound echoed through the building, stopping them both in their tracks. It was the sound of footsteps, approaching quickly.
The door burst open, and a figure appeared, silhouetted against the light. "What the hell is going on here?" the voice demanded.
It was one of their teachers, drawn by the noise and suspicious of their presence in the forbidden building.
Pond stepped back, his anger momentarily replaced by panic. "Nothing, sir. We were justâ"
"Enough," the teacher snapped. "All of you, out. Now."
PHUWIN POV
-: Phuwin shot Pond a final, defiant look before turning to leave. Joong followed, his heart heavy with guilt. As they exited the building, Phuwin glanced at Joong, his expression a mix of hurt and anger.
"Why, Joong? Why did you go along with this?" Phuwin asked quietly.
Joong looked down, unable to meet Phuwin's gaze. "I'm sorry, Phuwin. I was scared. But I promise, I won't let this happen again."
Phuwin nodded slowly, the betrayal still stinging. "You better not. Because next time, I won't be so forgiving."
And they walked away from the building.
