Plan went to far

Vanessa

"What we doing this weekend?" Harland said as he put his arm around me. School was over and it was finally the weekend.

"We got some moves to make that's gone put a lot paper in our pockets and if we do it right, we gone turn up tomorrow" I said

"Hell, yeah I'm down" Q said as we shook up

"Let's go get some to eat before we go because as nigga starving" Harland said rubbing his stomach

"You stay hungry" Kaylyn said as we approached the locker that we all shared

"I could eat you" He said kissing on her

"Okay that's nasty as hell" I said and Kaylyn fake pushed me

"What we doing this weekend?" Trina asked hugged up on Q

"We got grown people business to do but we can hit yall later" I said

"Yall stay leaving us out" Kia said popping out of now where

"Stay in a kids place" I said and everybody laughed as she smacked her lips laughing

"So, we meeting up later right?" Kaylyn asked

"Yeah yall can but my dad got my littler brother this weekend so I might stay back for the rest of the night. We supposed to be going to dinner and shopping so yeah I'll hit yall up tomorrow" I explained as we exited the school.

"Awww I bet he getting so big. How old is he now? Trina asked

"The man is five and already tall" I said as we made our way to Q mother's car

"I'll call ya tomorrow" I told Kia as I got in the car and she nodded standing there with the girls

"We finna go get something to eat" Kaylyn said and I nodded throwing up the peace sign and Q drove off bumping music.

I'm ready to get this money so I can go home I was beyond tried. I knew I wasn't getting any sleep because I would have to go out with my dad and little brother.

Let the weekend begin.

Terrianna

I was at home doing my homework. Nobody was home since my mom was at work and my brother was running off with his friends. As I was doing the last problem, I heard someone rung my door bell. I went to the door and see that Kia was at my door. I don't know what she wanted after pulling that shit at school.

"Wassup" I asked as I opened the door and she had this grin on her face.

"I have a good plan tonight and I think your going to like it" She said as she walked right in and went into the kitchen. I rolled my eyes and closed the door following her to the kitchen.

"So, what's the deal with you and Vanessa?" I asked curious as she walked around the kitchen looking for something to eat.

"Girl I was only playing with you. You take shit way to seriously. I thought we was supposed to be on the same team" She said

"I guess. You really had me thinking you had something for her" I said relieved that she wasn't thinking about Vanessa like that. I mean yeah, I lied about Vanessa hitting me, she has never put her hands on me. But I know she's cheating on me with that whore Quetta and other bitches and I just feel the need to get back at her. She thinks she so cool and smart but after I am done with her, she's not gone know what it her. I did feel some type of way when Kia tried to come for me.

"Yeah Vanessa is sexy as hell, smart, and funny but I came here to do a job and get her back for putting her hands on you and that's it. Maybe she won't put her hands on somebody else" she explained and I nodded

"So, tell me about this plan" I said trying to change the subject

"So, I meet up with Vanessa and her annoying ass friends and found out she was going to make a big drop today after school. Then I found out she's going out wither dad and some little boy and I'm guessing won't be home until later evening. So, I was thinking maybe we can go over there and stage a robbery or something" She explained and it didn't sound like a bad idea at all

"So, we just take everything and go huh?" I asked

"Yeah pretty much. What you think?" She asked as she stuff ed the sandwich she mad in her mouth

"I think it sounds like a good plan" I said honestly

"Good so should I text her throughout the day, or should you? Just to see what she's doing and were she's at?" She suggested and I thought

"Maybe we both should text her so she won't get suspicious. And we should just keep this plan between us because I am kinda feeling like Jennifer is not on our side anymore" I said

"Fine by me. I think I should stay here now. She's been acting weird anyway and I don't know why you hang out with her" She said rolling her eyes

"Cool, so what else has been up since I barley have seen you and you don't answer my calls or messages" I said as we went to go sit on the couch and talk

"Girl nothing really just working on school them damn teachers are so annoying" she said but the look on her face seemed to be saying something different. "So, let's get this plan into action" She added pulling out her phone and I followed suit.

I don't know what she was hiding but I felt like I couldn't trust her any more or anybody for that matter.

Vanessa

"NESSA, HOW IS SCHOOL GOING FOR YOU?" my dad girlfriend asked me she was literally screaming but I guess that was her inside voice

"It's Vanessa and it's fine" I responded trying to be nice

"YOU KNOW YOU WOULD BE REALLY PRETTY IF YOU PUT A DRESS ON AND DREAD YOUR HAIR" she said and I rolled my eyes.

"Dreading up my hair may not be so bad" I said honestly

I always wanted to dread my hair but I liked my long silky hair even though all I do is put this shit in a pony anyway. Dreads wouldn't be so bad. I was ready to go and get home I had a long day running around with Q and Harland all day. I really thought this was supposed to be just my dad, brother and I but his girlfriend decided to tag along. She was mad annoying and I was so over this shopping spree. I did get a few good things though so I wasn't complaining only if he would have left the pet at home.

After spending hours running around with my brother and buying him things, I was beat and it was time to go home. First, we had dropped the pet off then we headed home. She didn't want to go but I had made it very clear I didn't want to be bothered or around her at this point. I just wanted some peace and quiet.

We get home and park. I had got TJ a basketball and he loved it, he was playing around with it as we grabbed the bags. I was at the car when I heard my dad yell. I ran to the door to see our place had been crashed, then I heard tires screeched.

"TJ" I yelled

I ran outside and saw a car speeding off and seen Tj laying on the ground, I immediately ran to him.

"Dad call the ambulance" I yelled

Kia

"What the fuck did you do?" I yelled at Terrianna as she was in the drivers seat still speeding

"That fucker shouldn't have been in the street" She said finally slowing down

"Vanessa is going to kill us" I said scared. I know Vanessa was crazy but I didn't want to go to jail over killing someone.

"We had to get out of there or we would have gotten caught" She said as she pulled into Jennifer's garage and parked her mother's car.

"Terrianna this is serious you ran over somebody. That was not part of the plan. We were just supposed to get the money and go" I said as tears rolled down my eyes

"Kia chill the fuck out we are fine. Vanessa will never find out and we are in the clear" She said as she got out the car and I followed.

I don't know what or who Terrianna was anymore. I came here to get Vanessa but I didn't expect this. I didn't mean to kill nobody. I sat on the chair in the living room as Terrianna counted how much money was in Vanessa safe. I had my head in my hands thinking about what just happened.

"Look it's gone to be okay I promise. You have to trust me Kiki" She said using my nick name as she sat in front of me on her knees

"We killed somebody T. I can't live with that" I cried

"If you say something, I am gone pin this all on you. I mean who you think Vanessa would believe me or the new girl she knows nothing about. Be careful not to cross me" She said with a smile on her face and I looked at her with a confused look.

I don't know what I am going to do.

Vanessa

"What happened" Quetta said as she ran up to me as I was sitting the hospital chair in TJ's room. I don't know how she knew or who told her but I was glad she was her. The crew had walked in right after here.

"Hit and run apparently" My dad said

"BUT HE IS GOING TO BE OKAY. THEY DIDN'T GET HIM THAT BAD. JUST A BROKEN LEG" his mother says as Quetta came to sit in front of me and touch my leg.

"We are going to talk to the police" My dad said and left out with his girlfriend

"I should have been watching him" I finally said

"There's not way you would have know Nessa" She said

"I know but still I knew it was late and I should have never left him out there by himself" I said

"What happened?" Kaylyn asked as she stood at TJ bed

"I don't know it all happened so fast. We were bringing bags in the house from being out all day. I was at the car when I heard my dad yell. I ran into the house and seen someone had fucked the house up, then next I heard a car screech off and I thought about Tj and ran out and seen him laying on the ground" I explained

"You didn't here or see anything else?" Q asked

"After my dad yelled and I ran to see what was going on I heard a women's voice and a car start then when I ran to go see about Tj I seen a black jeep truck speed off" I said trying to put it together

"Don't worry we gone find out who did this" Harland said

"Yeah we got your back" Quetta said hugging me

I don't know who would want to do this to me but I was gone find out who did.

The Next Day

Tj was back home with his mother all he had to do was stay off his leg. God was really watching over him that night. His body was so little and even though I didn't see him get ran over he would have been died. After going to visit him and stuffing him with enough candy and snacks that he wanted I went to go meet up with Q and Harland at the basketball court I had my aunt car so I was on the move.

Before going to the basketball court, I went home to change into some basketball short and a tank top. The police were doing their investigation and still haven't come up with nothing. I was gone find out who did this and how they know about my stash. As I was changing, I was notice that somebody was messing with my safe. I had this old floor bored that I could lift up in my closet. I kept mostly all my cash and important shit in there. My dad didn't know I was selling so I wanted to keep it that way.

"What the fuck" I said to myself as I realized all my money was gone plus a note.

Pulling up to the basketball court seeing Q and Harland shooting hoops. I damn near jump out the car running over to them.

"Wassup how's lil mans?" Q asked as him and Harland walked to me

"Cool but yall know how somebody trashed our place right. I'm just not realizing that somebody went through my stash and took all my shit and left a note" I said handing him the note

"I'm taking back what you owe me" Harland read the note out loud

"Who you think would do this?" Q asked sitting next to me

"Do you owe somebody some money? Come on we yo boys you can tell us" Harland said and I looked at him crazy

"Not the time to play" I said and he put his hands up

"What else you remember about the car? Like really close your eyes and think" Q asked at least he was helping me.

I closed my eyes and went back to the night. To me running out after hearing the cars screech, I focus on the car.

"Old jeep maybe 2005, but that's about it" I said opening up my eyes again

"There is a lot of those out here. That's gone be hard" Harland said

"I know" I said annoyed I couldn't remember anything

"Maybe we should just let the police handle this" Q suggested

"I agree. The person you could owe might be dangerous" Harland chimed in

"Maybe your right. I'm just mad I got reup. I had a lot saved away and now it's like I have to start over" I said

"If you need help, we got you" Q said and I nodded

"Like we said we got your back bro" Harland said

"Thanks, yall" I said

"Have you heard from Terrianna?" Q asked

"Actually naw. She hit me up before everything happened. She probably still mad at me" I said looking at my phone

"New chick either?" Harland asked

"Yeah she actually hit me up to see what I was doing later today and wanted to see me" I said going through our messages. I didn't tell her what happened to my brother or being robbed at this point I couldn't trust nobody.

"So, what we on tonight?" Harland asked

"I don't know but I need a drink" I said truthfully

"Turn up"

Even though its just a little money I saved that money since I been on the corner selling and now all my hard work is gone. I'm damn near about to graduate and I don't know what I'm gone do but thank God my brother is alive.

I just have to work ten times harder to get back where I was.

No more games.
