Chapter 542: The ongoing affair: to your place or mine?_1

Beichuan stared at Su Hongxing’s charming peach-like face for a long time, then glanced over Ye Qilan, and then quietly distanced himself from Su Hongxing.

He couldn’t believe he didn’t recognize Su Hongxing. He was simply too embarrassed to show his face.

This was Su Hongxing, the only woman he’d ever liked. How could he not recognize her?

After sitting for a while, Ye Shiqing asked Qiao Qiao, “It’s getting late. Should we go to your place or mine?”

Su Hongxing was secretly observing their actions and she began to worry slightly. Ye Shiqing looked like an experienced player. He surely did not bring women home to stay overnight frequently, did he?

Just as she was about to intervene, Ye Qilan held her back and shook his head at her, “Second brother is a good guy, he won’t do anything to Qiao Qiao, don’t worry. If they don’t talk alone, how will they coordinate a good act for next weekend?”

Su Hongxing conceded and watched as Qiao Qiao and Ye Shiqing walked away.

When Qiao Qiao and Ye Shiqing got to the parking lot, she said, “I drove here, I can get home by myself.”

Ye Shiqing glanced at Qiao Qiao, “Then fine, you can drop me off at the hotel.”

“Second Brother…” Under Ye Shiqing’s gaze, Qiao Qiao said with a stiff smile, “At this hour, it’s not appropriate for me to go to the hotel with you.”

“If we don’t go to the hotel, how will *you* have an affair?” Ye Shiqing calmly retorted.

Qiao Qiao’s awkwardness actually seemed a little cute to him.

Her demeanor wasn’t at all like that of a resentful wife who had been married for three years. It was more of an innocent young girl’s.

“Affair?” Qiao Qiao was startled by his words, she immediately distanced herself from Ye Shiqing, warily glaring at him.

Why did everyone say Ye Shiqing was a gentleman? To her, he seemed more of a playboy.

On their first meeting, he wanted her to go to a hotel with him, and was even talking about having an affair?

Ye Shiqing looked at the parking lot and asked, “Which one is your car?”

Qiao Qiao was still wrapped up in her thoughts about the “affair”. Pointing out her car on impulse, she regretted it immediately.

Ye Shiqing reached Qiao Qiao’s car. It was an average domestic sedan. Looking at Qiao Qiao’s clothing and demeanor, she didn’t look like a young lady from a wealthy household at all.

Examining her from head to toe, and observing the finer details, one could see that Qiao Qiao was a simple woman. Yet this woman had married the prodigal son, Ye Xiandong.

Seeing Qiao Qiao standing frozen in the same spot, he pointed at the car door, “You getting in?”

Qiao Qiao was actually quite frustrated.

Ye Shiqing acted as if it was his own car.

In the end, she still got in. Seeing the lanky Ye Shiqing sitting in her tiny car, she found herself amused for reasons she couldn’t quite figure out.

The entire trip there, both of them stayed silent, until they reached the hotel where Ye Shiqing was staying.

This was the first time in Qiao Qiao’s life that she drove a man around, and she wanted to get out of the car the moment they reached their destination.

Ye Shiqing, however, saw through her thoughts and pulled her out of the car, “Second brother, this isn’t appropriate.”
