Court room -12

Erica's POV

As I was in the car, thinking of a plan. I changed my clothes out of my uniform. Luckily, only Kent was in the car so I made him look away as I changed. The gaurds that was bringing me to court was in other cars, and the driver is also one of them so either way, I can't escape so I have to go to court. I now wore a red sweater, black short that almost reaches her knees, black knee socks, and a pair of red sneakers. The sun was starting to go down but still not a sunset.

'This was not how it was supposed to go in the otome game! I need a plan!'

We arrived at a courtroom, the walls were old looking and a bit dirty but the tables and chairs seem clean and shiny, a chandelier was placed in the center as it emits a very bright glow. As I then stood up in the center, there I saw the judge in front of me and behind him is the king, sitting on a throne above, at his side was his wife, the queen.

The kings brown hair made him look normal but his crown made him look like a king, his body was well toned and big, just like a general who lead an army. His sunken blue eyes, darken as he saw me. A million thoughts flash theough him but he stayed silent. The queen, her silky smooth dress, looked expensive and goddess like. Her white, smooth skin glowed. Her crown made of diamonds, shined with her golden smooth hair. She looked like the queen of fairies. Bright green eyes, small pointy nose, small pink lips.

The sides were filled with students and nobles. I grip my fingers as I saw my- Erica's parents staring at us in disapointment and shame. I looked at the judge again and wished this to be over with.

"Let us begin the court. Silence!" The judge's voice yelled all over the courtroom making the gossiping people shut up.

"Erica Jane Bon Teligent. It seems that you have pushed a student of the stairs. Is this true?" He asked me. I bit my lip and stopped my tears and breathed in the air.

"Yes. But it was an accident!" I reasoned.

"But it seems that you used to bully her. We have witnesses." He says. 'Of course there's witnesses! It was suppose to make me a commoner because they saw me bullying her!' I yelled in my head.

"It was because she was near the prince. Im his fiancée! A commoner shouldn't be near a royal!" I stomped my feet in anger.

"But must you bully her?" He looked at me in disgust. I scowled.

"She wouldn't listen."

"Couldn't you thought of a better solution?" I stayed silent. Chewing my lips. "Well then. Prison for you for a 2 months. Let this be a lesson to you." He said. The king then stood up and glared at me. I shivered a bit.

"I shall break the engagement of my son, Prince Christopher Allen Cupid Detrio's and Erica Jane Bon teligent's, for Miss Erica has commited a crime. Any who dares object the king?" The king yelled. No one responded. Erica's parents kept their heads down as the queen look over his husband, confused at what he's done.

After that, the king sat down, satisfied at what he did.

"Guards. Take her away." The king smiled as he looked at me. The guards then started approaching me but I have decided to finally use my new power that I have created through countless practices and research with my maid, Ellen.

I then hummed as my aura changed to a cold one. I raise my hands and then started dancing. I danced gracefully and spinned here and there, but it was precised and practiced. Everyone watched me danced but I didn't care. My feet then produced fire as my feet moved. I then rose my hands overhead and formed a shape like holding a sword above my head.

">" A huge, bright phoenix came out and rose near the chandelier then flew straight down and ate me. I bursted in flames but it didn't hurt. It felt warm and comfortable. I then closed my eyes and then I disappeared.

I arrived back at my mansion and ran up to my room, startling the maids who saw me running. My foot steps resoundes throught the halls as I arrive at my room. I opened it quickly and grabbed my already prepared luggage inside a ring. My things was inside the luggage so I still have a lot of space inside my ring. I put it in my middle finger then ran out again, breathing hard for air. I arrive at Takeo's room and opened the door quickly.

"We're leaving." I then panted and lie down on the floor. Takeo was shocked but quickly pulled out a bag I bought for him and grabbed his clothes that I also bought for him to his luggage.

"Where?" He asked as he was folding his clothes quickly. He knows that this isn't a joke.

"Anywhere. I'll explain later." My heart beated slowly to a normal rate as I relax on the floor. A bit sweaty, but I have regained my stamina. I then pulled out my phone from my sling bag and put it in my ring. My maid Ellen suddenly appeared and waved at me.

"Miss! What are you doing here?" She whisper-yelled to me. She sat down in front of me and rubbed my back. My muscles relax under her touch as I breathed more air.

"I'm leaving." I looked at her sad green eyes, her always tight red hair, and her not very noticible freckles unless you stared at them hard enough.

"You look like a Weasly." I murmured.

"What's going on? Why are you leaving?" She asked as she gripped my hands hard. She looked at my eyes for answers, but I gave her none. "Bring this with you then." She gave me a locket. It looks like the galaxy compressed into one stone, except there were no planets. Just stars brightly shining.

"What's this?" I ask her as I stare at it.

"It's a locket that leads you to a cave. In it you will face many trials and hardships but it will lead you to the stone. It will give you a weapon of great destruction. Use it carefully." Ellen hugged me tightly as my shoulder was wet thanks to her tears. She let go and wiped it off.

"You best be going now. Run while you still can." She looked away as I looked at Takeo. He nodded at me, I grabbed his bag from his hand and put it in my ring and we run like there's no tomorrow to the back door. It lead to the forest but I didn't go there. I went to the stables where my father owned a legendary pegasus.

I jumped in and helped Takeo climb up. His small child body was having difficulties in climbing the pegasus. He has now sat down and I then caress the pegasus and told him to fly to a town far away from here. It understood and we now began our journey, far away from the game. I guess I will meet them someday, but for now, to a town far away from here.

Takeo just sat quietly while staring in front of him. I held his waist as I leaned my chin into his head, his short heaight perfect to rest in. We didn't reach the clouds but the breeze was still cold, with the sun starting to take it's rest. The night was starting to cover the blue sky. The pegasus occaisonally flap it's huge wings to keep us afloat.

We arrived at a small town not to far, not too near the capital. It was still filled with people even though it was now dark and cold. I then told the pegasus to land here and he understood and started going down slowly so that we won't fall to our deaths.

After we safely landed near the entrance to the town, I thanked the pegasus and set it free. I grabbed Takeo's warm hand as I grabbed the cloak in my ring that I bought for Takeo. We arrived and saw no one minding us at all.

It was now very dark and we saw an Inn that was bright and still open for business. We arrived at an inn called, 'Starlight Inn' and payed to stay here for the night. We slept early in seperate beds, our snores soft.

The kingdom was now in the look for Erica after she disapeared, thinking that she might have killed herself since they haven't seen that kind of spell before.

I woke up early and wore a platinum gold wig tied into a braid and still wore the same clothes from yesterday. as I went out of my room to grabbed breakfast from the kitchen in the Inn. The kind lady from the counter thet checked us in smiled at me and asked me if I can help her. She curly brown long brown hair tied into a side ponytail as she let it rest on her shoulder, her brown eyes was soft looking. She looked to be about 40 years old, as she had wrinkles.

"Sure. I would love to help." I then helped her prepare the ingredients as she cooked a light meal for a lot of people. We finished, and I stretched my arms after that.

"Why aren't ya changin' your clothes, darling?" Her perfectly aligned teeth showed as she smiled. Her funny accent made me smiled a bit.

"I'll do it later. Im quite busy." I looked at her as she placed the food in plates evenly.

"Not busy enough to help me cook breakfast?" I looked away and laughed awkwardly. I then brought the food to our room and thanked her as I ate the delicious breakfast. Takeo woke up from the smell and sleepily joined me as we ate together. Savoring the great taste of the meal. We finished eating and Takeo took a bath as I went to the market to buy some groceries. I put all of it in my ring and head back to the room and saw Takeo smiling at me. We then head out and waved goodbye at the kind owner after we payed her.

We then went into a bus that went to the other country. There, my adventure to find the Demon King starts.

"Why are we going to the Star Kingdom?" Takeo asked as he stopped leaning on the window, looking at the rain.

"Because I can't stay in Planet Kingdom. Also, remember what I told you about this world is an otome game?" I asked. Takeo nodded. "I was supposed to be a commoner but it turns out, fate had other plans and so I'm now leaving the country earlier than I thought." I patted his head, almost touching his cute fluffy fox ears.

"I see. I understand." He looked back outside the window and watched as the rain drops, race down to the ground. He looks childish and young, yet in those eyes, he looked old and mature and seems to know a lot of dark things in life. I grabbed a 2 blankets from the ring and gave one to Takeo and we then rest our heads.
